Aftermath: Entity303

Minecraft was crumpling. Everything had disappeared. That was the last thing Entity303 saw before Gameknight and Weaver leapt through the diamond portal to the past then everything went white…

That was all Entity303  remembered before finding himself lying in a bed in the forest surrounding the village. He had placed this bed just before entering the twilight forest. Sunlight shone through the trees. He began to head towards the village. He wondered if the villagers would even accept him or chase him away. This worried him.

In his worries he barely noticed that he had reached the village square. He saw Gameknight standing in the center of a crowd of villagers. This stirred up some emotions inside himHe felt a little sad and wished he had more friends like that. Then he remembered his conversation with Gameknight  and felt a little guilty.

These emotions hit him all at once and a small tear trickled down his cheek. He struggled to keep his emotions under control. Then he remembered what Gameknight had said before their conversation had ended “Help people and they will accept you.”

Entity303 took a step forward and realized he was now in the crowd of villagers. Suddenly Gameknight was enveloped in a column of light. The light grew brighter and brighter until he realized that the light was not only coming from Gameknight but he too was enveloped in a column of light. Then just as Gameknight disappeared in a flash of light, he too disappeared from the world of Minecraft.

Gabe woke with a start and banged his head on his office table. Gabe was Entity303’s name in the physical world. He heard  police sirens outside at first he thought that they were here to arrest him for stealing the digitizer but the digitizer was gone. He saw a folded piece of paper. Then realized that his head had been resting on a pillow. Then he realized that the pillow had not been there when he activated the digitizer.

Slowly he opened the letter. It read,

Dear Entity303,

First of all let me just say that I am sorry that I don’t know your name. Although I know that you have done some bad things Gameknight convinced me  to put the digitizr back so you didn’t get in trouble. I may not know you but I do know that many people are very upset and believe that you are dead.

But enough of that. Gameknight also told me that you didn’t have any friends and are pretty lonely. And for that, I am sorry. Hopefully this book that me and Gameknight wrote will give you a hint of what to do.

          Sincerely,

          Gameknight’s dad

After reading the letter Gabe noticed a book sitting at the edge of his desk. “That must be the book” Gabe mused. It was called Invasion of the overworld. He would have to read that later. He got up and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. Then he headed outside.

When he stepped outside people began shouting all around him. Ignoring them Gabe looked up. From the position of the sun it looked like it was midmorning.

Suddenly a bunch of news reporters came up to him and asked him what happened. “I… ah…” he replied stunned. Then a group of people pulled him aside. He saw that there were a few police officers and some people he knew but couldn’t remember their names.

“What happened? We were so worried!” One man said. “Slow down.” Gabe replied. “What is going on?” “You’ve been missing for the past 6 hours.” One of the police explained. “When we got here your door was locked and you didn’t answer so we thought that you had a heart attack!” one lady sobbed. “We called the firemen to come and break down the door 10 minutes ago. Another five minutes and you wouldn’t have a door.”

As if on cue 2 fire trucks arrived and a bunch of firemen stepped out. “It’s okay! It’s all under control!” one man yelled. The fire fighters nodded and stepped back into their trucks. Then they drove away.

“So what happened in there?” The policeman asked.

“I’m… not sure…” Gabe replied. “I must have fainted. But thanks! Gabe exclaimed giving the policeman his warmest smile. The policeman smiled back looking just a little bewildered. Then Gabe remembered what Gameknight had told him again “Help people and they will accept you.” Then he realized that he had just done that…

It was now one week since Gabe had left Minecraft and he had already managed to make 5 new friends including the police officer who’s name was Rob. He had also read Invasion of the overworld.

Then one day he happened to come across a group of people and realized they were the people from the Minecraft development team! He approached them and said “Hi.” Their eyes widened. One even dropped his can of Coke in surprise.

Without thinking Gabe reached out and caught the can in midair. “Nice catch!” They all exclaimed in unison. He handed the man who had dropped the Coke his bottle of Coke. Then came the most surprising part.

They told them that they missed having him around and would like to know if he wanted to come back to the development team.

“Thank you!!!” Gabe said tears streaming down his cheeks. He didn’t even bother to hide his joy. “And don’t worry we convinced our boss to let you back on the team” Someone named Mark said.

Suddenly Gabe remembered what Gameknight had said “Help people and they will accept you.” He had just helped them and now he had his friends back.

“Why don’t you come with us” Mitchell asked. “Were headed to “Raising Canes” if you want to come.” “Shure!” Gabe said. “And I’ve also got a few ideas for how to make Minecraft better.” He said his voice getting exited. They talked the whole way to “Raising Canes”.

3 months later…

Gabe and Tommy had just become pen pals and wrote to each outer almost every day. Tommy had just sent Gabe another book that he had wrote called Battle for the nether His fight at Malacoda’s fortress seemed so long ago, but that didn’t stop him from remembering the cold clammy tentacles and his eye that radiated such anger. Tommy shivered. When Tommy woke up the next day he went to the mailbox and pulled out a letter from  Gabe.

After reading the letter Tommy thought about how he had helped Gabe regain his position as a Minecraft developer by teaching Gabe to help people. And by doing this Gabe had regained his friend’s and gained some new ones along the way.

His dad came into the room and handed Tommy a box. “Thanks dad.” Tommy said. He opened it and found a new book called The bones of doom It’s the next book in the rise of the warlords series. I got it for you since you liked the first book so much. “Cool! Thanks dad!” Tommy exclaimed as his dad walked out of the room.

Tommy walked to the cupboard and got some fruit loops and began eating them for breakfast.

Suddenly his dad ran into the room with a crazed look on his face! “You won’t believe this! Gabe just set up a server for us on Minecraft!” “Oh my gosh!” Tommy exclaimed leaping up from his chair. “Come on let’s check it out!” Then they ran out of the room to see the new server…

Agent Mitch walked through a huge FBI complex. He wore a black suit and dark sunglasses. He came to a locked door. He flashed his card at the identity scanner. “Welcome agent Mitch.” Said the scanner. TornadoGuy571 was his code name and his username on Minecraft.

He entered a dark room with a desk and someone with the same black suit and dark glasses. He had his face set in a straight line and when he frowned his cheeks gained these deep creases.

“Hello agent Mitch.” He said flatly. “Hello agent Tim” Replied agent Mitch.

“I assume you know what this is about?”

“Yes.”

“We need to make sure that nobody finds out about the digitizer.”

“Yes sir”

“I burned the files and deleted the ones on the data system.”

“Why?”

“Hackers.”

“So then why am I here?”

“To eliminate the last of the evidence.”

“What about the digitizer?”

“We got the company that owned it to hand it over along with all the files for a lot of money.”

“How much?”

“That is not your concern.”

“Sorry sir. Then what is the last of the evidence.”

“GameKnight999, Monekypants275, and Entity303. Your mission… Is to eliminate them and destroy the second digitizer that is at their house.”

“Sir…”

“No buts!”

Agent Mitch sighed in frustration and walked out of the room. He had a license to kill but knew that he shouldn’t do it this time so he walked to his office and logged in on his computer. Then he opened a modded version of Minecraft and left the room.

He should’ve gone home but instead he reentered Agent Tim’s office. He had about 5 minutes to grab the digitizer and get it to his office before Agent Tim’s lunch break ended. He got the digitizer and was about to leave when he heard footsteps coming closer.

Thinking fast he grabbed a vent and entered it. He snuck through the hot vents for about 30 minutes until he reached his office. There he preformed a series of complex commands for the digitizer. Then he activated them.

Suddenly 3 blocks of TNT, flint and steel, and an emerald bow with 15 arrows appeared on the floor. The emerald bow was modded.  Agent Mitch smiled because he had just used the digitizer backward, bringing something from Minecraft into the physical world. He then waited until Agent Tim left for the day and snuck back into his room.

Suddenly a security guard asked him where he was going. “I am going to Agent Tim’s office.” Explained Agent Mitch. “Why? Agent Tim left for the day.”

Seeing that the security guard was catching on Mitch used his bow as a baseball bat and knocked him out. Then he entered Agent Tim’s Office. He placed the blocks of TNT on the ground and ignited them using the flint and steel. Agent Mitch then slammed the door shut just as an explosion rocked the complex. Confused shouts greeted Agent Mitch as he ran. Some people tried to stop him but he shot them with the emerald bow. They cried out in pain but he hadn’t hit them hard. He ran to his office and grabbed his laptop, some important files, and the digitizer. Then he made a beeline for his car. He started is and began to drive towards his house.

When Mitch got to his house he pulled open the door and grabbed his pet husky named Believer and his pet cat Porkchop then took them to the car. Then Mitch drove off. “We have to get the second digitizer to Gameknight999’s house. Believer looked at him with his blue intelligent eyes as if to say “I understand.”

Mitch closed his eyes and cleared his mind and then he heard it “There coming behind you!!!” yelled Believer. When Mitch closed his eyes he could feel animal’s thoughts.

He spun his head around and saw 3 police cars, sirens blaring, trailing behind them. He pulled a hard left and swerved around a bunch of cars causing a traffic jam that stopped the police cars in their tracks.

Mitch drove in silence until Believer barked and Porkchop meowed. He closed his eyes “It’s just up ahead!” Barked Believer. “Almost there!” Purred Porkchop. When Mitch opened his eyes there it was, Gameknight’s house. He was almost there…
