Boom
The ball punches the court
Thudding like my heart
I shoot from behind the 3point line
It swishes through the air
A comet about to hit Earth
Straight into the basket
A perfect shot
Cheers go up on the right side
My arms raised in victory
Now it’s back to the game
My feet stamp, my head pounds
Sweat on my face and blood in my brain
I jump up for another shot.
