This short story is based off one of Hypixel’s Minecraft mini games, a PvP game called Skywars. But although this is based off a Skywars Mega game, some of the components are not included in a regular game of Skywars Mega. Some parts, like the Slimeball with Knockback X, used to be in the game, but are now supposedly deleted, while others like the specific kits I use are from a different version of the game called Skywars Solo.

Also, I want to sincerely apologise to Black Plasma Studios, an amazing Minecraft animator group who make digital videos of Hypixel’s Minigames. I know (at least, I hope) that you are not noobs, but I just need some bad players, and you people just were the first to come to my mind.

Another thing I must say is that not every single person in this book is a real player, but most of them are. Some are planned players who haven’t been able to become real. Yet. Others are fanatical players like Herobrine, Dreadlord, and lesser villains like Shaman and Arcanist. Others are my friends and family, while still others are book characters, although they are real players.

Finally, I really hope that you enjoy reading this, and may sometime be able to play this on Hypixel’s server. Thankyou.

Part 1

With a pop, a player named ThunderBolt832 appeared in a large, glass skycage that floated, suspended above a small, floating, island.

Looking around, he could see that four other users were already standing beside him, their names, Shriker502, Surge204, thebatman365, and Socafan66 displayed above their square heads.

All four of them were good friends of his, and they had played many of the Hypixel mini games together.

“Hey guys!” ThunderBolt said with a casual grin. “What is it today? Galaxy Wars? Build Battle? Crazy Walls?”

Socafan66 shook his head. “Nope,” he said, “Skywars. Mega.”

ThunderBolt nodded. “Well, whatever it is, I’m just glad to have you guys on my team.”

Looking through the glass walls of their cage, they looked around at the other teams, each suspended above their own islands in a specific cage of their own.

“Looks like there’s some pretty stiff competition today!” Said Surge204 with a grimace.

“Hey,” interrupted thebatman365, “You can’t expect everything to be easy, can you? Besides,” he said, throwing a glance towards Surge, “Most of us like a challenge.”

Shriker502 peered through the glass, staring at the the two teams to their left. “Wow,” he cried, “Is that Black Plasma Studios?”

ThunderBolt followed his gaze. “Sure is. I wonder what skill level or kits they have.”

Suddenly Shriker gasped beside him. “Oh no.” He muttered.

“What is it?” Socafan asked.

“There,” said Surge, pointing towards the team two islands to their left.

“Oh.” Said ThunderBolt, “Please tell me that’s not Herobrine.”

Shriker sighed beside him. “Sorry buddy, but it is. And Shaman. And Arcanist. And Dreadlord. And no! That’s Entity303.”

ThunderBolt thumped his head against the glass wall, causing faint cracks to spread across the transparent material. “This, is going to be one, horrible, nightmare!”

Surge grinned beside him. “Now who’s complaining?”

Suddenly a loud voice boomed down upon them from the sky, shouting in a deafening voice, “The game starts in ten seconds! Five…four… three…two… one…FIGHT!”

Instantly the cage around them vanished, letting them fall down onto a small, floating island with five, randomly filled chests waiting to be opened.

Each player ran up to a chest, some running down the stairs to the lower level of the island, while the rest stayed on the upper level. Nevertheless, there was a chest for each of the island’s new inhabitants.

Lifting the lid of his chest, ThunderBolt looked inside, rummaging through the pile of items inside until he found an Iron Chestplate, an Iron Axe, a stack of 16 stone, and a Golden Apple.

Quickly slipping the chestplate down over his shoulders, he ran past Socafan66 who was still rummaging around in his chest and up the stairs to the top of the island.

As he reached the grassy top of their island, he looked around to see that thebatman365 had built a one-block wide bridge towards the mainland and was now suspended above the void on an unsupported path, completely vulnerable to snowballs, eggs, or arrows.

“Hey ThunderBolt!” He shouted, his voice carrying far through the small world. “Do you have any more wood or stone?”

ThunderBolt stared at him for a moment. “What are you doing?” He yelled back, his voice a mixture of anger and fear. “Get back here!”

thebatman365 looked around, and suddenly realized the danger of his situation.

Turning around, he started to run back towards ThunderBolt but before he could move two steps, a stream of snowballs flew out from the island to his left and hit thebatman, knocking him off the bridge and into the void.

“Uh,” muttered ThunderBolt. “He won’t learn. Ever.”

There was a thump behind him. Turning around, he saw that a user named AfterInfinity had quickly built a glass bridge across to their island, climbed across it, and jumped onto their island.

He was dressed in full leather armour, a fragile wooden sword held in one of his hands. Instantly ThunderBolt could tell that this user was using the Rookie Kit, a kit that was useful, but only within the first few minutes of the game.

Looking around, AfterInfinity saw that Shriker502 was still rummaging around in his chest—still oblivious to the danger he was in—and ran forward to attack his unprotected back.

Leaping forward, ThunderBolt swung his axe, quickly cutting through the frail user’s wooden sword and leather armour. With only two more quick hits he destroyed the player, leaving behind nothing but a pile of glass blocks and a piece of mutton to show that AfterInfinity ever existed.

Getting to his feet, Shriker502 shut the lid of his chest and looked up. “Oh. Thanks.” He said, surprise filling his voice as he looked at the pile of items that lay on the ground beside him. Quickly slipping on a chainmail chestplate and a pair of iron leggings, he pulled out a stone pickaxe, and destroyed the glass bridge, leaving them in peace, at least for a few minutes.

A moment later, Surge204 emerged from the underground room, Socafan66 close on his heels. “Guys!” Said Surge, his voice full of excitement. “You won’t believe what Socafan found! Show it to them, Socafan!”

As Socafan pulled something from his inventory, ThunderBolt saw he was wearing a pair of diamond leggings. He then looked up to see what he was holding.

ThunderBolt rolled his eyes. “Really? A fishing rod? Wow!” He said sarcastically.

“No!” Answered Socafan, punching him on the arm. “This.”

Reaching into his inventory, he put back his fishing rod and pulled out a green orb that glimmered and glowed with purple waves of iridescent light. It was a slimeball. The slimeball.

“This,” said Socafan, taking a deep breath. “Has Knockback X!”

Shriker whistled beside him. “Wow. Socafan—there is only one of them in existence!”

ThunderBolt nodded. “Yep. You can send anyone flying off the edge of the island with that! Make sure you use it well, because it can be a very powerful weapon if used correctly.”

Surge pulled out a stack of wood and quickly built a staircase up onto the roof of their island. As he climbed up it, ThunderBolt watched him, noting his enchanted iron helmet, wooden sword, bow, and quiver that were strung over his back. He quickly realised that he was using the Baseball Player Kit, which contained an iron helmet with Protection I and a wooden sword with Knockback II.

All four of them climbed up onto the roof of their house and looked down onto the island of the players next to them.

“They look nooby enough,” said Socafan66 with a grin.

Running forward, ThunderBolt leaped into the air, only to be sent flying back by a stream of snowballs that flew up from the island beside him.

“Snowballs…” He muttered, giving Surge204 a nod.

Quickly, the derp-faced user pulled the bow off his back, notched an arrow to the bowstring, and fired it down upon the group of users that stood on the next island, looking up at them.

As the arrow flew into the group, ThunderBolt832 ran forward and leaped high into the air without waiting for them to recover. He landed heavily on the ground, flashing red as he swung his axe towards the nearest user, a tuxedo dressed player called Sam Small.

It cut deeply into the iron chestplate of the user, making him flash red as he took serious damage.

A moment later a series of snowballs flew past ThunderBolt and struck the player, sending him flying off the edge of the island into the void below.

Looking up, he turned his head just in time to see Shriker502 and Socafan66 jump onto the island beside him.

Together they ran forward and attacked the nearest user, a blonde-haired player called Arbiter617.

Swinging his axe, ThunderBolt deflected an attack from Arbiter’s diamond sword, then stepped back as Socafan swung his enchanted slimeball, sending the user flying more than 20 blocks into the air before he fell, screaming, into the void.

Turning, he saw that one of the two remaining players, RoA Nitrox, had pulled a bow from his inventory and was preparing to launch an arrow towards Socafan.

Not giving him a chance to do so, ThunderBolt ran forward and with one hit left nothing behind but a bow and a small stack of arrows to show that the user had ever existed.

Spinning around, he charged forward towards the last player, someone named EagleEmpire, only to find that he had climbed onto the roof of the island. Quickly ThunderBolt climbed up onto the top of the island and ran towards the final user.

With a smile on his face, EagleEmpire walked backwards towards the edge of the island—and jumped.

Running forward, ThunderBolt peered over the edge to see the falling player pull out a set of wings, apply them to his back, glide forward for a few seconds, and swoop upwards towards the nearest island.

“Is he using Elytra?” He asked, pointing towards the winged user.

“No idea where he got them.” Said Shriker as he appeared on his left, a puzzled look on his face and an enchanted iron sword in his hand.

“Weird people do weird things,” muttered Socafan66, shaking his head in annoyance.

Suddenly a great explosion blossomed out on the far island where the flying player had landed, and they all watched in satisfaction as EagleEmpire fell, unprepared and screaming, into the void.

“Here,” said ThunderBolt, jumping down to the pile of items that lay on the ground, picked up the small stack of arrows that RoA Nitrox had left, and handed them to Surge204 who had jumped down beside them. “You’ll use them well, I’m sure.”

Nodding, the derp-faced user took the sharp projectiles and stuffed them into his inventory.

Climbing back up onto their own island, ThunderBolt could see that the rest of the teams nearby had built bridges towards the mainland and left, leaving their islands unprotected.

“Guys,” he said, pulling out an iron pickaxe that Shriker had just given him. “There’s plenty of ore on these islands, and I think we should all have a bit more armour before we go to the main island, so let’s excavate these islands and get some iron!”

Part 2

On the opposite island of the world, a user called SlimeKnight stood on top of his island, looking around for any opposing dangers.

“Looks like the coast is clear, guys!” He called down to his teammates who stood below.

Quickly, Lachlanap and Mitten1997 each pulled out a stack of stone and began to build a two-block wide bridge that slowly started to stretch out over the void and towards the mainland.

Behind Lachlanap trailed two zombies and two skeletons, her four special protectors that would give their lives for her until the end of the game.

Sighing, SlimeKnight looked at her bodyguards and said, “I wish I had that Guardian Kit!”

Mitten1997 stopped building and turned around. “Yeah, but my Scout Kit is pretty cool too.”

Nodding in agreement, SlimeKnight jumped down beside his two other companions: Atlas9802 and HalfSalty.

They had the only proper two kits that could be combined together: the Armourer Kit and the Knight Kit.

The Armour Kit contained a golden chestplate, a pair of golden leggings, and a pair of golden boots. It was a simple kit in itself, but useful if you wanted to get to the mainland immediately and didn’t have much time to look in chests.

The Knight Kit was pretty much the rest of golden set, and consisted of only two things: a golden helmet with Protection II, and a golden sword with Sharpness I.

He himself had the Ecologist Kit, a simple, small kit that contained an iron axe with Efficiency I and a stack of 16 wood that could be converted to 65 wood planks.

His thoughts were suddenly broken as Mitten1997 came up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. “Come on, SlimeKnight!” He said with a grin. “Are you just going to stay here, or are you coming with us to the mainland?”

SlimeKnight nodded, shaking the thoughts from his head. “Sorry, yes. Just lost in thought as usual.”

Running forward, the two companions quickly sprinted across the bridge and leaped onto the mainland where their friends stood waiting impatiently.

They walked on for a while, opening the occasional chest that they found, but all were empty. As they climbed through the undergrowth—bushes, trees, and saplings—they began to hear the noises of battle, and not long after emerged into a large clearing at the centre of the island.

A huge conflict was taking place at the centre, where four or five different teams were all engaged in the fury of battle, all battling for the treasure filled chests that lay at the middle.

“Let’s avoid that, shall we?” HalfSalty said with a grin, veering off to the left and back into the undergrowth.

Nodding, the group followed him around the edge of the main island until they came to a small tower that rose out of the ground and up into the sky, towering above them.

Looking up, SlimeKnight’s eyes lit up as he saw a chest sitting at the top. “Guys, up there!” He cried, pointing upwards towards the hidden box.

Suddenly the bushes began to rustle around them. “Uh, guys?” Said Lachlanap, uncertainty filling her voice, the zombies and skeletons that followed her growling suspiciously as she pulled out her iron sword.

The tower door suddenly opened and a figure stepped out, a purple cloak and hood covering his body, a white skull mask hiding all of his face except his evil, red eyes that glowed with maliciousness. His robes were half-covered by an iron chestplate that had been slipped over them, shining iron boots covering his purple feet, and a diamond sword held in his boney hand. With a horrified gasp, HalfSalty recognised him as a dreadlord—the Dreadlord.

Behind him a player dressed in Steve’s clothes stepped out from behind a bush, slipping a diamond chestplate over his shoulders as his eyes grew white with evil satisfaction.

Three more players stepped out from behind the other bushes, one a brown skinned player with a painted skin draped over his head, the name Shaman displayed over his hooded face.

The second had the skin of a knight, except that his face was covered too, leaving only two glowing slits of blue as his eyes and another higher up on his forehead. Atlas9802 recognised him as Arcanist, an enchanted iron sword held in his glowing hand.

The third and final user was dressed in white, shimmering robes, with large, glowing red eyes the only visible factors of his face. His entire body was covered in diamond armour, an enchanted, flaming, diamond sword held in his hand. SlimeKnight gasped as he realised that it was Entity303—the villain of all villains.

With evil, malicious smiles and smirks on their faces, the five dark rogues who surrounded them began to slowly walk forward towards them.

“Guys,” whispered Mitten1997 in fear. “We’re doomed!”

Part 3

“Come on dad!” Gameknight999 shouted up to his father, Monkeypants_271, who was standing at the end of their bridge, staring down at the ground.

“You do know I have a fear of heights, right?” Monkeypants said shakily, his vision blurring as he looked down at the small fall below him that seemed to be increasing more and more.

“Just jump dad!” Shouted Monet113 impatiently, stepping out behind her brother as she stared up at her hesitating father.

“Don’t worry,” Quadbamber said from behind superman-suit-dressed monkey with a grin. “I know how to handle this!”

Monkeypants gritted his teeth, knowing exactly what Quadbamber meant. Running forward, he yelled something unintelligible as he fell, then landed beside his companions, flashing red as he took damage.

“Oh,” said their father, opening his eyes in surprise. “That wasn’t so bad after all.”

A moment later, Quadbamber landed beside him, followed by Gameknight’s friend, Shawny.

“Come on, guys.” Said Gameknight as he pulled two iron swords from his inventory. “We’ve got a game to win!”

Quickly running forward, he slipped an iron chestplate over his head and then stopped to step into a pair of iron boots that he had placed on the ground in front of him.

Out the corner of his eye he could see monkeypants running along beside him, dull iron leggings covering his blue pants, a fragile stone sword held in his brown monkey fist.

On his left ran Monet113, her purple hair flowing over her black shoulders. She held an enchanted bow in her hand, a quiver of arrows strung over her back, ready to be used at anytime.

Behind him was Quadbamber, a diamond axe held in one of his hands, a stack of snowballs in the other. He was wearing an iron helmet, chainmail leggings, and diamond boots.

On the other side of his father was his best friend Shawny. They had had hundreds of adventures together, not to mention the amount of Hypixel minigames they had played. Shawny was a redstone master, but for once had been deprived of the electronical dust, and had instead a diamond sword with Sharpness I, a stack of 6 TNT, and some flint and steel.

Suddenly a group of players burst out from the undergrowth to their left, charging straight towards them with swords and bows in their hands.

Instantly Monet fitted an arrow to her bow and shot it towards one of the three users who ran forward, someone called AntVenom. Quickly pulling another from her quiver, she hit him twice more, killing him before he even had time to reach her.

Running forward, Gameknight unsheathed his two swords and slashed at the nearest player, the name Jeffress108 displayed above his blocky head.

The user blocked one his iron swords, but was not quick enough to block the second, which cut through his leather armour and made him flash red with damage.

Stepping back, the Jeffress pulled out a fishing rod and flung the sharp hook at Gameknight.

He winced as the sharp barb stuck into his skin, not doing damage, but still giving him slight pain as he was pushed back a few steps.

Pulling out the hook, he ran forward, dodged the fishing rod, and sliced with both swords at Jeffress108’s armour.

The frail, leather coating quickly fell away to his vicious attacks, and soon nothing was left except a fishing rod, a stack of eggs, and a sword to show that his opponent had ever existed.

Turning, he ran towards the final user, but stopped when he saw that Shawny had already dealt with him.

“Good work guys!” Gameknight said, “But that was only three. And they weren’t expecting us to have that skill. Just wait till there’s five of them, fully armoured and fully skilled. It’ll be a challenge then.”

Monet rolled her eyes. “You always have to make everything seem so hard, don’t you?” She asked. “It won’t be as bad as that!”

Gameknight999 turned around, purposely ignoring his sister. “Let’s keep going,” he said, then ran back into the undergrowth, the rest of his team following close behind in pursuit.

Part 4

ThunderBolt832 landed heavily on the grassy ground below him, flashing red as he took minor damage.

He was dressed in full iron armour, which had thankfully taken most of the fall damage for him.

A moment later, Shriker502, Surge204, and Socafan66 landed beside him, each taking slight damage, but their thin coating of armour took most of the damage.

It had taken them at least half an hour to excavate every single block of iron, diamond, gold, and coal from the floating islands around them, but now they all had full iron armour and a diamond sword, although most still only used it as a secondary weapon.

Looking around, ThunderBolt looked over the edge of the mainland at the void below them. It was an infinite drop, and it was best not to fall down there.

Turning around, he could faintly hear the sounds of a fight or struggle in the distance. Motioning to the others to follow, cautiously, he crept into the undergrowth that covered the mainland, slowly making his way towards the sounds of battle.

The sounds of zombie moans, cries of pain, skeleton bones, and swords clashing could now be heard clearly ahead—they were close.

Peering out from behind a bush, ThunderBolt could see a group of users battling against each other, one team easily the upper hand, while the other was fighting desperately for survival.

Turning around, he found the rest of his team close behind him. “Guys,” he whispered, “We’ve got trouble. SlimeKnight and his team are being attacked by Herobrine and his gang. We’ve gotta help them!”

Nodding, the rest of his teammates crept up beside him, pulling out their various weapons as they did so.

“Now!” Shouted ThunderBolt, and they burst out of the bushes, charging towards the group of villains that stood, fighting against SlimeKnight’s team.

Pulling out his iron axe, he lifted his hand high in the air and threw it towards the nearest user, Arcanist. It hit the knight-like player with a thunk, knocking him to the ground. Before he could get to his feet, ThunderBolt had pulled out his new diamond sword and sunk it deep into Arcanist’s body, destroying the last of his HP (health points).

Running forward, he ducked as Shaman pulled out a potion of harming and threw it at him, then leaped forward and slashed at his body, only to have it blocked by his iron sword.

Leaping high into the air, he slashed down at the brown-skinned player, but missed.

Turning, he saw that he had pulled out a potion of swiftness and was even now putting the bottle to his lips.

Running forward, ThunderBolt slashed at him but was too slow. Shaman now began to run around him like a whirlwind, his legs moving at a crazy speed, his attacks impossible to deflect.

Jumping in the air to avoid his attack, he pulled out a stack of wood and placed two blocks of it right in his opponent’s path.

Without time to stop, the brown-skinned player ran straight into the blocks, flashing red as he stopped for a second to see what had happened.

Quickly ThunderBolt832 brought his sword down on him, then slashed at him twice more, leaving behind a great deal of potions, an iron sword, and several balls of XP (experience points).

Turning around, he looked just in time to block an attack from Herobrine’s diamond axe, and then dodge another vicious swing from his opponent’s weapon.

Herobrine swung his axe with all the power he could muster, and ThunderBolt barely had enough time or strength to block it.

Without waiting for him to react, the bright-eyed user kicked him in the stomach, sending ThunderBolt832 flying backwards to land on his back.

Quickly pulling out an enderpearl, the Minecraft villain threw it towards him, then swung his diamond axe down at his unprotected body.

Socafan66 just managed to get his diamond sword in between them, blocked the attack, then pulled out his enchanted slimeball and sent Herobrine flying off to the other side of the island where he disappeared into the undergrowth.

“Thanks,” ThunderBolt said gratefully, slowly getting to his feet.

“No problemo,” replied Socafan, “But the others are in trouble! Entity303 is way to powerful to be stopped! Come on!”

Running forward, they charged forward towards the two remaining villains who were wreaking havoc amongst the other players.

Pulling out the enchanted bow he had found in a chest, ThunderBolt fired an arrow towards Dreadlord, then pulled out his diamond sword and sunk it deep through the iron chestplate of the villain, past his purple robes, and into his dark body.

Pulling it back out, he picked up the diamond sword of his dead opponent and charged towards Entity303, a sword in each of his hands.

Just before he got there, the white-robed villain slashed at Socafan66 with his flaming, super-sharp sword, doing serious damage to his friend.

“No!” ThunderBolt shouted as his teammate fell to the ground.

Entity303 looked up, his red eyes glowing with maliciousness. Lifting his diamond sword high, he sunk it deep into Socafan’s body.

“NOOOOOOO!!!” Screamed ThunderBolt832, charging towards his friend’s executioner, swinging both his diamond swords at the villain’s body.

Quickly picking up Socafan’s enchanted slimeball, Entity303 slammed it into ThunderBolt’s chest, sending him flying backwards until he smashed into a stone pillar, where he lay, too weak to move.

Running forward, Shriker502 slashed at the villain’s back, slicing through Entity303’s diamond chestplate and making him flash red.

Turning around, the dark villain slashed at Shriker’s sword, then kicked him viciously in the stomach, sending him flying backwards to land four or five blocks away, his sword far out of reach.

Running forward, Entity303 lifted his diamond sword high into the air and prepared to sink it into Shriker502’s body.

Surge204 looked around from his place in the undergrowth where he had been shooting, then saw his friend’s danger. “Leave my friend alone!” He shouted, then pulled out an enderpearl he had found in a chest and threw it at the ground next to Entity303.

It hit the ground beside the two users, Surge204 teleporting along with it.

Ducking under the villain’s flaming diamond sword, he dived forward, grabbed his diamond chestplate, and leaped off the edge, pulling Entity303 with him.

ThunderBolt832, his strength now renewed with panic and terror, leaped to his feet and ran forward. “Nooooooooo!!!” He screamed, looking over the edge at the two grappling enemies as they disappeared into the void, forever.

With a groan, Shriker502 got to his feet. “What… happened?” he said slowly.

“It was Entity303.” ThunderBolt said, trying to keep back the tears that were filling his eyes. “He was about to kill you, but Surge204 pulled him into the void. They’re both dead.”

Turning around, he looked forward to see SlimeKnight and Mitten1997 get to their feet, the only survivors of their team.

“Thanks guys,” SlimeKnight said painfully. “We wouldn’t have survived without you.”

Mitten nodded his helmeted head. “Yeah, but where are Socafan and Surge204?”

Shriker502 shook his head slowly. “Entity303 killed Socafan, and Surge204 saved us all by pulling him into the void.”

SlimeKnight’s black eyes grew wide. “You mean he’s…”

ThunderBolt nodded. “Yeah.”

Shriker502 looked around. “It’s a pity we’re on different teams, but you’re our friends, so we’ll just go different ways; we don’t want to fight you.”

Nodding, Mitten1997 and SlimeKnight turned around and disappeared into the undergrowth.

Turning around in the opposite direction, ThunderBolt832 and Shriker502 disappeared into the bushes behind them, leaving their friends in peace.

Part 5

Gameknight999 peered out from behind a bush, looking at the few remaining users who were battling against each other at the centre of the island.

Turning around, he crept back towards Quadbamber and Shawny, the only remaining players in his team.

“Looks like we can go out there and finish them off.” Gameknight said, pulling out his two new diamond swords, as he spoke.

Nodding, Shawny pulled out his own shining diamond sword, making Quadbamber pull out his diamond axe.

Creeping forward, they burst out of the undergrowth and charged towards the nearest user, the name: DanTDM displayed above his head.

Spinning around, the brown-haired user just managed to block an attack from Gameknight’s diamond sword.

Jumping high into the air, Gameknight slashed at DanTDM, causing a slight crack to appear in the user’s diamond helmet.

Blocking an attack from his diamond sword, he slashed at him again, cutting deep into DanTDM’s iron chestplate.

The brown-haired player was not very strong, and with three people attacking him at once, he soon succumbed to their attacks, leaving behind a set of half-diamond, half-iron armour behind, an enchanted sword, and a huge amount of XP.

Moving on, they continued to attack the few users that were still around, and eventually cleared out the whole centre of the island.

Moving forward to the pile of chests that sat at the middle of the clearing, Gameknight pulled out a diamond chestplate and slipped it over his shoulders. He then slid his legs into a pair of diamond leggings, then stepped into a pair of diamond boots. Finally, he pulled out a diamond helmet and slid it over his head, giving him a full coating of diamond protection.

Out the corner of his eye he could see his two companions doing so too, and soon there stood three diamond armoured warriors; a force to be reckoned with.

Kneeling down beside a chest, Gameknight opened up the lid and took out a golden apple and two enderpearls. “These will be handy,” he muttered, then moved on to a second chest, closing the lid of the first.

Quickly they emptied the centre chests of anything useful, leaving behind their old iron armour and tools that were no longer useful.

Suddenly a flaming arrow flew out from the bushes behind them and struck Quadbamber in the arm, sending him flying forward several steps as he flashed red with damage.

They all turned around, but there was no one there.

“Hello?” Called Shawny, “Is anyone there?”

There was no reply.

“Let’s check it out,” whispered Gameknight.

They were just beginning to move forward towards the undergrowth where the arrow had come from when something green flew out from a nearby bush and landed beside them.

For the split second that it was there, Gameknight looked at it, then leaped back as he recognised it as an enderpearl.

A moment later, a user dressed as Steve, but with glowing white eyes appeared—Herobrine.

Quickly pulling out a bow, the evil villain fired an arrow at Quadbamber, then drew his sword and attacked.

His attacks were so ferocious that Quadbamber didn’t have time to defend himself, despite his diamond coating of armour.

Before Gameknight or Shawny had time to do anything, Quadbamber was dead, leaving behind a set of diamond armour, a diamond axe, and a golden apple.

Running forward, Gameknight slashed at Herobrine who blocked his attack and threw an enderpearl into the bushes behind them.

Gameknight looked at Shawny and nodded.

They both pulled out an enderpearl and threw it towards the last spot of their opponent.

As they teleported, Gameknight looked around for the bright-eyed villain, but he had disappeared.

Shaking his head in frustration, Gameknight looked around once more before disappearing into the undergrowth, with Shawny close behind.

Part 6

ThunderBolt832 emerged out from the undergrowth into a clearing, with Shriker502 not far behind.

They were both wearing a full set of diamond armour each, diamond swords held firmly in their hands.

They now stood in a small clearing near the centre of the island, a grass-covered area that was completely flat.

“Looks like there’s no one here.” Said ThunderBolt grimly. “But there will be. Soon.”

Even as he spoke, the bushes parted ahead of them and a user named EnderSlayer603 stepped out, a diamond sword held in his hand, the bright light of the sun reflecting off his coating of diamond armour.

They stared at each other for a moment, then Hypixel himself stepped out from the undergrowth on their left, a flaming diamond sword held in his right hand.

Out from their right stepped Gameknight999 and Shawny: two of Minecraft’s many legends, diamond swords held in each of their hands.

An enderpearl suddenly landed in the centre of the clearing, and a moment later Herobrine appeared there, flashing red momentarily as he took teleportation damage.

They all stared at the Minecraft villain, then looked at each other, a look of understanding in each of there eyes. They were all a team until Herobrine was dead, and after that…

With a yell that shook the earth, they all ran forward towards the white-eyed user, who stood glaring at them all, his eyes glowing bright with evil maliciousness.

Jumping high into the air, Herobrine kicked out at EnderSlayer603, sending him flying backwards, then ducked as ThunderBolt slashed at him with his two diamond swords.

Pulling out an enchanted slimeball, the dark villain sent Shawny flying up into the air, then pulled out his sword and blocked an attack from Hypixel.

ThunderBolt832 stopped and stared at him in disbelief. “Where did you…How did you get that?”

Herobrine laughed, slashing out at Shriker502, then blocking an attack from Gameknight. “Some things,” he said, his eyes glowing white with evil intent. “Are better left unsaid. And unseen.”

As he spoke, he pulled out an enderpearl and threw it towards the edge of the clearing, then as he teleported, pulled out a potion of invisibility and quickly tipped its contents down his throat.

“Like me,” Herobrine laughed evilly, then disappeared as the potion took effect, the last thing to vanish being his glowing white eyes that seemed to hover in the air for a moment before fading away.

“Where’d he go?” EnderSlayer asked uncertainly, spinning around in a circle, but there was no sign of the evil villain.

Suddenly Shawny flashed red with damage, then fell to the ground in pain.

In an instant Gameknight leaped forward, but his swords just slashed through thin air.

Gameknight’s friend continued to flash red over and over again, Herobrine’s invisible sword finding the weak points of his armour until Shawny disappeared with a pop, leaving behind a set of diamond armour, a diamond sword and an enderpearl.

“Where are you, you evil villain?” Gameknight spat, turning around in a full circle, looking for the invisible Herobrine.

Suddenly an arrow appeared out of nowhere and flew forward to sink into EnderSlayer’s arm.

Hypixel quickly ran forward, attacking the spot the flaming arrow had came from, but again there was nothing there.

Slowly two dim rectangles of light began to form in the air, then a body; Herobrine’s potion was wearing off.

Quickly running forward, ThunderBolt attacked the now-visible villain, but was sent flying backwards by the enchanted slimeball.

Slashing out at EnderSlayer, Herobrine attacked the user’s weak spots, again and again until he only had a sliver of HP left.

Just as Hypixel’s flaming sword came down upon the evil villain, he pulled out another enderpearl and threw it up into the air, blocking the attack as his did so.

As Herobrine teleported, he pulled out his bow and fired an arrow towards EnderSlayer, making the player flash red with damage as he burst into flame again.

Pulling out a bucket of water, the burning user quickly poured it over himself, extinguishing the flame, then scooped up the infinite water source back up in the bucket.

An enderpearl flew through the air, and landed next to EnderSlayer603, teleporting Herobrine there instantly.

Pulling out his diamond sword, he attacked EnderSlayer, then pulled out a shining diamond axe and sunk it into the player’s side.

Blocking an attack from Shriker502, Herobrine kicked out at Hypixel then slashed at EnderSlayer603 one more time, taking the last of the user’s HP.

Herobrine winced as ThunderBolt’s diamond swords cut through his shining armour, then slashed out at Gameknight999 with the diamond axe.

Pulling the enchanted slimeball from his inventory, he slammed it into Hypixel, sending him flying backwards to land crumpled up against the side of a tower that rose up out of the ground.

Running forward, the dark villain pulled out an enderpearl and threw it towards the wounded player.

As soon as he materialized there, he lifted his diamond sword into the air and sank it into Hypixel’s body, destroying him instantly.

“Grrrrr!” Muttered ThunderBolt, “He’s starting to get annoying!”

Running forward, the three teammates attacked Herobrine, but their swords only found thin air as the bright-eyed user teleported back up behind them.

Turning around, Gameknight slashed at the villain, using one of his swords to block an attack while the other cut deeply into his already-damaged chestplate.

Retreating a few steps, Herobrine pulled out his enchanted bow and fired an arrow at Shriker502, making him flash red as it hit him in the chest.

Quickly running forward, he ducked under ThunderBolt’s blade, and with a vicious swing cut clean through Shriker’s diamond sword, leaving him defenseless.

Running backwards, Shriker pulled out his stone pickaxe and tried to block Herobrine’s attacks, but the dark villain was too fast.

With a few more well-placed hits, Herobrine had destroyed the rest of his diamond armour, then sunk his sword into Shriker502’s body, making him flash red one more time before he disappeared with a pop, a look of sorrow and fear on his blocky face.

“NOOOOOOOOOO!!!” Screamed ThunderBolt832, running forward and stabbing his sword clean through the chestplate of the dark villain, making him flash red with severe damage.

Growling ferociously, Herobrine pulled out an enderpearl and threw it a few blocks away, then pulled out a golden apple and ate it.

Instantly his health began to rejuvenate, giving him slight strength as he stood there, glaring at his two remaining opponents.

As Herobrine watched, both of his opponents also pulled out the golden fruits and ate them, their health and strength both growing as the magical apple’s effects took place.

Running forward, Herobrine slashed at Gameknight, only to have it blocked by his swords while ThunderBolt slashed at his unprotected side.

Screaming with rage, he stepped back, then pulled a potion of poison and threw it at his two enemies.

ThunderBolt832 dived out the way just in time, but it splashed all over Gameknight999, his body growing weak and the dark potion set to work.

Leaping forward, the dark villain slashed at Gameknight’s unprotected side, making him flash red in pain.

Pulling out a potion of harming, ThunderBolt threw it onto Herobrine, causing him to flash red as half his health disappeared.

The villain screamed in agony as the deadly potion took effect, stopping his attacks on Gameknight999.

This gave him enough time to crawl to his feet and slowly move over to ThunderBolt, who pulled out his two diamond swords and attacked.

Pulling out his diamond axe, Herobrine blocked each of his opponent’s attacks, using both the sharp diamond tool and his diamond sword to protect himself.

Taking an enderpearl from his inventory, he threw up into the air, where it hung for a moment until it came down and landed beside Gameknight.

Instantly the dark villain teleported towards the helpless user, then slashed at him with his diamond axe.

ThunderBolt quickly teleported beside Gameknight, using the same method as Herobrine, and just managed to block the attack.

With using both his swords, he slashed at Herobrine, using such vicious force and power that he began to force the dark villain backwards, giving Gameknight time to get to his feet, the effect of the poison slowly beginning to wear off.

Herobrine quickly saw what he was doing and pulled out another enderpearl, preparing to throw it back over to Gameknight.

Quickly ThunderBolt slashed at the bright-eyed villain, making him drop the enderpearl onto the ground, causing him to teleport only a block or so towards him.

Pulling out another, Herobrine threw it over his enemy’s head, teleporting back over to Gameknight in an instant, then slashed at him with both his weapons.

This time Gameknight was strong enough to block his attacks, giving ThunderBolt enough time to run over and attack Herobrine’s back.

Growling in frustration, the villain pulled out the enchanted slimeball and sent both of his opponents flying in opposite directions until they came to rest at opposite sides of the clearing.

Pulling out their diamond swords, two weapons in the hand of each player, they stared at each other for a moment, then Gameknight and ThunderBolt charged towards Herobrine, yelling ominous battle cries.

Herobrine quickly put away his weapons, and stood smirking at them, doing nothing as his enemies charged towards him.

Just as they swung their weapons at him, he pulled out an enderpearl and threw it straight upwards.

It landed a little behind Gameknight, teleporting him there instantly.

“Where’d he go?” Growled ThunderBolt in suspicion.

Gameknight shrugged, “I don’t—”

He stopped mid sentence, and ThunderBolt looked at him in horror as he fell to his knees and disappeared with a pop, revealing the bright-eyed villain, his sword still extended in the same space that Gameknight had just stood a moment ago.

“Grrrrr,” Growled ThunderBolt832, stepping forward a few steps as the villain retreated slightly. “I’ve had just about enough of you, Herobrine!”

The white-eyed user laughed maliciously. “You can’t stop me,” he said in a cold, evil voice. “You’re alone. Your friends can’t protect you anymore! It’s just you and me, and we’ll finish this between us!”

ThunderBolt stepped back a few steps, panic filling his mind as he tried to think of what to do.

He was just about to turn around and run for it when a small, faint voice spoke in his ear.  “Come on ThunderBolt, you can do this!”

ThunderBolt832 turned around, confused. That voice had sounded extremely like…

“Shriker502?” He said aloud, looking around in the air, but there was nothing there.

“What?” Shouted Herobrine. “You talking to your dead friends? They can’t help you anymore, and they never wanted to!”

Suddenly a faint noise began could be heard in the air around them, growing louder and louder until it could be plainly heard across the whole island.

It was hundreds and hundreds of voices, all shouting his name as loud as they could. “ThunderBolt! ThunderBolt! ThunderBolt!”

Over and over again they shouted it, yet still he could see no one.

Maybe I’m just dreaming it. ThunderBolt thought, turning around to run when he heard the voice of Shriker502 plainly in his ear, shouting. “Come on ThunderBolt! You can do this!!”

Looking around, he could faintly see the transparent forms of the 98 other players who had died playing this game, floating high up in the air as if they were flying.

Turning, he could see that Herobrine had noticed them too, their 98 voices all shouting ThunderBolt’s name.

“Looks like we have an audience,” the evil villain growled maliciously. “Gooooooood.”

ThunderBolt took a step forward, brandishing his two diamond swords in his hands. “I’m not afraid of you, Herobrine! You might have killed half the people in this game, but you won’t kill me! I will win this game, and you,” he paused momentarily to take another step forward. “Will die!”

Running forward, he slashed at Herobrine’s booted leg, scoring a hit as his razor-sharp sword sliced through the villain’s diamond leggings.

Ducking as Herobrine swung his diamond axe, he slashed again at his chestplate, using one sword to attack and the other to block.

Blocking an attack from Herobrine’s now-flaming sword, he slashed at him again, cutting deeply into his diamond leggings.

Screaming in rage and pain, the dark villain stepped back a few steps and threw an enderpearl into the air.

Flashing red momentarily as he teleported, he slashed at ThunderBolt’s back with his diamond axe.

Extending his sword behind him to block the attack, ThunderBolt832 spun around and kicked Herobrine in the stomach, sending him back a few steps.

“Hmmm,” Herobrine taunted. “Clever…”

Running forward, he pulled out his enchanted slimeball and swung it at his opponent.

Ducking under the powerful weapon, ThunderBolt slashed up at his enemy’s unprotected arm, making him drop the slimeball in pain as he flashed red.

Blocking an attack from Herobrine’s diamond axe, he slashed at him with one hand, and picked up the enchanted slimeball with the other, smashing it into his adversary’s head, knocking him to the ground as he flew backwards twenty blocks.

Pulling out a potion of swiftness, ThunderBolt832 pulled out the cork and put the bottle to his lips.

Quickly swallowing the contents of the flask, he waited a few moments for the potion to take affect, then shot forward, covering half the distance between them in an instant.

Slashing at Herobrine’s diamond chestplate, he cut deep through his diamond coating and made him flash red as his HP dropped another notch.

Running forward, ThunderBolt stabbed at the villain’s back, then cut deep into his diamond leggings, then slashed again at his helmeted head.

Herobrine tried to block his attacks, but he was too fast, and pulling out an enderpearl, he threw it towards the end of the clearing, teleporting him there in an instant.

Pausing a moment to catch his breath, the bright-eyed user pulled out a potion of healing and drunk it, then pulled out a potion of swiftness and swallowed its contents as well.

Instantly time seemed to go at normal speed to the dark villain, his opponent slowing down as well.

To the watching spectators, the next few events occurred so quickly that they could barely understand what was happening, but to the two battling enemies, time was going at its normal speed.

Slashing at Herobrine with both weapons, ThunderBolt blocked an attack from his diamond axe, but was not quick enough to stop the villain’s flaming sword, which cut clean through his diamond chestplate and delivered a serious wound.

Wincing in pain, he slashed at the white-eyed player with such vicious force that it cut through the handle of the diamond axe that was held up to block it.

Slicing upwards with one of his diamond swords, ThunderBolt smashed through Herobrine’s diamond helmet, rending it useless.

Stabbing forwards, he shattered his diamond chestplate, then slashed at his shining leggings, splintering them into thousands of tiny shards.

Suddenly Herobrine pulled out an enchanted wooden sword and hit ThunderBolt with it, sending him flying backwards, rolling over and over until he smashed into a tall stone pillar that rose out of the ground, shattering the remains of his diamond armour.

Running forward, ThunderBolt pulled out an enderpearl and threw it into the air, then quickly pulled out his sword and blocked a vicious attack from Herobrine.

Ducking as the dark villain slashed at him, he teleported behind Herobrine, then pulling out his second sword, he turned around—and stabbed him in the back.

The bright eyes of ThunderBolt’s opponent grew brighter and brighter as the villain fell to the ground, every single one of his nerves aflame.

Then Herobrine disappeared with a pop, leaving behind a flaming diamond sword, an enchanted bow, two stacks of arrows, an enderpearl, and hundreds and hundreds of balls of XP.

Finally, his energy gone, ThunderBolt fell to his knees, tired and happy, with one thought and one thought only running through his mind: Victory.
