Minecraft MADNESS!!

Book one in the Reality-Craft series

prologue:

“Eddie, wake up!  It’s christmas!”

Eddieawsome1 sluggishly woke to his mother’s calls.  He sat up, and looked at his calendar.  Yes!!! It was finally christmas morning.  Slipping on his Nike sneakers, he sprinted down the hallway and into the living room, expecting something huge under the christmas tree.  No such luck.  Instead, his parents were waiting for him  next to his laptop.  “Merry christmas,” his mother handed him what looked like a ticket of some sort.  He was about to say ‘forget it’, but then he looked closely at it.  It had a block on it that he knew far too well: it was a minecraft grass block.  “What is this?” eddie finally asked.  “I mean, i know it has to be something to do with minecraft.” “since you love Minecraft so much, we decided to buy you a Minecraft realm.”  eddie could not believe his

Eyes.  there it was, the certificate of purchase of the realm.  Still gawking, he hugged his parents, squeezing them tight.  “Thank you so much!” eddie exclaimed, tears of joy rolling down his cheeks.  Now unable to contain his excitement, he went searching through the pile of presents under the christmas tree, ripping every present open that had his name on it.

Chapter 1

“There’s no way that’s possible.”

EddieAwsome1 was playing his favorite game in the world with his best friend DaniBoy101 on the private server (a realm, as it was called in this game) his parents had bought him for christmas: Minecraft.  Although minecraft is supposed to teach survival skills, (also creativity & circuitry) they both knew that you can’t punch a tree to chop it down.  They also knew that it can’t float in the air.  There were many things in minecraft that just weren’t possible in reality.  “Hey, I have an idea!” Eddie exclaimed.  “What is it?” daniboy asked.  “Let’s see if we can find a magic typewriter that makes anything written become reality!”  “That sounds like a good idea!” daniboy said excitedly.

After two days of searching high and low, they finally found an… odd-looking typewriter at a garage sale.  It had what looked like ancient lettering spewing out of it.  Strange.  “Let’s go see how much this thing is.” Daniel said.  “Because it doesn’t have a price tag, as far as I can tell.”  “ok.” Eddie agreed.  So they did.  “Excuse me, how much is this typewriter?” Eddie asked when they found the owner.  “Its free.” the man said quickly, a look of panic twinkling in his eyes.  Oooooooook, Eddie thought.

“Thank you!” they rode home on their bike happily and excitedly to have their own typewriter now.   “I wonder why he wanted to get rid of it so quickly”, Eddie said. “But whatever.” Eddie and Daniel rode their bikes as fast as he could, until they reached home. They ran into Eddie’s room and started typing. Minecraft physics now work in reality. Eddie typed. Nothing happened. quickly changing their minds, Eddie placed a new sheet on and started typing.  Minecraft physics no longer work in reality.  Eddie ripped the paper into shreds, and started on a new sheet of paper. suddenly exists and is now my brother, Eddie typed. They heard a knock on their door. Eddie walked over to the door and opened it and there he saw the legendary GameKnight999.  He looked about a year older than Eddie, and completely different than he had pictured it in his book*.  “hey Eddie.” said Gameknight. Hey Tommy.” Eddie replied.  “What are you doing?” He asked.  ”Me and my friend Daniel found this really cool typewriter that makes anything written become reality.”  Eddie quickly ripped and crumpled up the paper that he and Daniel had been working on. Placing a new sheet of paper onto the rack, he started typing. The 3D digitizer ray suddenly exists and it appears next to me on the floor, Eddie quickly typed.  They looked down to their right and saw it.  “Awesome, it works!” Eddie shouted.  “Whoa,” Tommy said, astonished.  “W-where did you guys find that?!”  “At a garage sale.”  Eddie explained.  “we saw that there was no price tag on it, so I went over to the cashier, and he looked like he wanted to get rid of it ASAP, and he said it was free.  But who really cares about the fact that he was scared about it?  The point is, this typewriter is amazing!”  “You got that thing for free?!” Tommy exclaimed.  “Yep.  There’s one more thing that we want to change in this world.” Eddie said with a confident smile on his face.  he typed as fast as he could, unable to contain his excitement. A Minecraft infinite landscape is generated in the sky Minecraft physics and peaceful mobs become reality there.  me, Tommy, Daniel, and this typewriter get teleported there, transformed into our minecraft skins. Eddie finally typed.  Suddenly, he landed on a cubic grass plain.  He still had the typewriter in his hands, although he wasn’t in his house anymore.

It was very familiar, but then Eddie suddenly remembered: this is how a minecraft world looks.  “This looks AWESOME!” Eddie exclaimed.  “It certainly is” Gameknight said proudly.  Then they looked down at themselves.  They were all transformed into their minecraft skins.  Gameknight sort of looked like the default skin, but the colors and detail were in different places, making it unique.  Eddie was a warrior with rainbow skin.  Daniel’s skin was quite unique: a rainbow creeper with rainbow colored headphones, with a hint of black in the middle of each side of them.  “Just in case you’re wondering Gameknight, me and daniboy made these skins ourselves.” Eddie explained.  “The rainbow parts of our skins were my idea.” “He’s right.” daniboy affirmed.  “He likes rainbows a LOT, if you didn’t know.”  “Don’t judge me, if that’s your first thought on this.” Eddie said seriously.  “I just think they’re awesome.”  “And I agree, it’s just, you know…” Gameknight started.  “The ‘G’ word?” Eddie suggested.  “Yeah.”  “Well, like i said, don’t judge me.” Eddie reminded.  “But enough chitchat.  Let’s go grab some resources before sunset.” Eddie pointed to the sun.  “Good idea.  Let’s split up and meet back here when we have enough wood.” Gameknight explained.  “One tiny flaw with that plan.” daniboy pointed out.  “How are we going to find our way back?”  “Like this.” Gameknight said confidently.  Then he started hacking with his fists at the dirt furiously, chipping away at the earthen cubes.  Grabbing the cube-like dirt, he moved to the water source they had spawned near, and started building up, with just a simple 1-block-wide tower.  When he ran out of dirt, he jumped into the water, taking no damage.  “Okay, now we can split up.” Gameknight said when he bobbed to the surface.  They all moved out in three directions, punching the trees furiously when they found them.  5 minutes later, they returned to the spawn point, each with a stack of wood in their hands, the typewriter still on the ground.  “Wait a second.” Eddie paused.  “We didn’t even need to do that.  We could have just used the typewriter to our advantage.”  He walked over, sat down and started typing.  All three of us can suddenly use minecraft commands at thought.  “Okay, everyone think of the command to get into creative mode.” Eddie said confidently.  /gamemode 1 they all thought at once.  Instantly, their inventories felt like they were carrying a bus on their back.  They all had an infinite supply of all the blocks in minecraft.  Although it looked like they had only one of each, every time they took out a block, it always duplicated.  “Maybe we could build a mansion to live in while we’re in this world, because we might be here for a while.” eddieawsome1 suggested.  “That’s a good idea.  This place could use a home.” daniboy agreed.  Reaching into their inventories, (they weren’t sure how they were doing that) they grabbed all the resources they needed to build a mansion.  A couple hours later, they placed the last block onto the beautiful structure.  They stood back a couple feet to admire their creation.  “Great job guys!  This looks great!” Eddie smiled.  This was the best build he’d ever done in minecraft with his friends and family.  “I agree.  This was a good idea.  Maybe we could live in it in survival mode now!” Gameknight smiled as well.  They were very impressed with each other.  “I have an idea!” Eddie said with excitement.  “Maybe we can make 2 more typewriters with this one!  One for each of us!  Then we can all make changes to this world!”  Eddie sprinted over to grab the typewriter.  It took 10 minutes to find it, but when he finally did, he ran back to the mansion, plopped it down on the desk, and started typing.  Two more magic typewriters suddenly appear on the ground next to me, completely identical. In an instant, two more of the typewriters appeared with the same strange lettering spewing out of them.  “AWESOME!!  I wasn’t sure if that was going to work.” Eddie shouted excitedly.  “Because, you know, this is a one-of-a-kind typewriter.”  “Yeah, I was nervous too.” Daniel breathed a sigh of relief.  “Same here.” Gameknight agreed.  Right before they switched back to survival mode, they grabbed diamond armor, diamond tools and swords, an anvil, and enchanted books.  /Gamemode 0 they all thought.  Instantly, their inventory felt normal again, but still kind of heavy.  They all placed down their anvil, and started enchanting.

5 minutes later. . .

Finally, they put their brand-new enchanted armor, which was rough and cold to the touch, yet it felt lightweight and completely flexible.  The armor and swords were slightly glowing, but mainly shining with the iridescent blue color that it always looked like when it was enchanted.

Moan.

Sss.

Click, click.

they heard a sound he knew far too well with their experience in minecraft: monsters.   “mobs.” Eddie muttered a curse under his breath.  Suddenly, just barely over the zombie growls, creeper hissing and spiders clicking their mandibles, they heard a scream of terror.  “There must be a village nearby.” Gameknight shivered a little, thinking about the first time he really went into Minecraft.  “Well then, come on, let’s go!” Daniel shouted.

To be
