The entire crafting chamber was empty with the exception of one small child. A young villager boy stood in the center of the chamber, tear stains on his square cheeks.
“Where is everyone?” Gameknight asked.
He ran down the steps and moved next to the child.
“They said that I had to wait here for you,” the young NPC said.
“Who said?” Gameknight999 asked.
“The bandits. They told me the wait for the Great Gameknight999 and give him a message.”
“They said that if you want to see any of the villagers alive, then you must deliver to them the blaze rod from the blaze-king.”
“What are you talking about?” Gameknight asked. He was getting frustrated. “What happened here?”
“An army of NPCs came to the village. We thought they were friendly, but really they were bandits, criminals that moved across the land looking for helpless victims. Crafter told them that Gameknight999 was a friend of this village, and that he would not let anything happen to them.”
The child looked down at the ground, a sad look on his face.
“What happened? What happened to Crafter?”
“They beat him and beat him and beat him until his HP was almost gone. Then they told all of us to go the crafting chamber. They made everyone get into minecarts and go through the tunnels to an old abandoned mine shaft. I don’t know what happened to everyone, because their leader made me wait here for you.”
Gameknight could imagine the terror all of the NPCs must have felt as they watched their crafter be beaten. But he would not let them down. He would save all of them, but first he had to know something.
“What is your name, boy?”
“I am Fisher, Digger’s son.”
“Well, Fisher, come on, we have a village to save.”
Grabbing Fisher by the hand, he led him to a minecart and jumped in. He then pushed off and let the minecart speed down the tracks to the abandoned mineshaft. Who knows what terrors await them there.
The minecart went through the tunnel for a long time. It turned left and right, then went up and down like a rollercoaster. It made Gameknight’s stomach sick. But he knew he had to hold on and find Crafter and the villagers. Fisher didn’t seem to worried about the sudden movements because he was worried about his friends and didn’t think about the minecart.
Soon, the cart pulled up to a new cavern, and this one looked like it had just seen a massive battle. There was smoke all throughout the crafting chamber and piles of tools and weapons all over the place. Gameknight picked up an iron sword and handed it to Fisher.
“You might need this before we are done,” he said to the small boy.
Fisher nodded and took the weapon, then bent over and grabbed some iron armor. Putting it on, he looked like a real soldier, only a really small one.
“Come on Fisher, we need to find the others. To the surface!”
They ran up the steps and then through the tunnels until they reached the long ladder that led to the surface. Gameknight went first, keeping his hand near his sword. Fisher followed close behind. They moved up the ladder in no time, then came out of the stone watch tower. When they came out, they were surprised by what they saw. The whole village was destroyed, like a bomb had flattened it or something.
“What happened?” Fisher asked.
“Probably the bandits,” Gameknight999 answered. “Come on, let’s follow their trail.
The two of them followed the trail of destruction as it led out of the village. They could see the path the bandits took. They were probably forcing the villagers to go with them because they didn’t find any of them there. As they followed them, they could see trees that had been chopped down, the blocks of wood just floating on the ground. There were piles of uncooked steak and pork all over the place. It was as if the bandits just killed the animals for fun, they didn’t even take the meat. That was wrong.
“These are some really bad people,” Gameknight said. Fisher nodded.
“It looks like they headed for that mountain,” Fisher said. He pointed to a rocky mountain ahead.
Gameknight turned and looked. Fisher was right. He could see the trail leading straight towards the tall, scary looking mountain in the distance. The trees all along the path toward the mountain were destroyed. It was as if they had to destroy everything they touched.
“Come on Fisher, let’s follow them.”
They followed the trail across the Overworld. Many times they had to fight their way past skeletons and zombies, but they didn’t give up. At night, they dug a hole in the ground and hid. They waited for the sounds of monsters to disappear. They could hear skeletons, zombies, spiders, creepers, and slimes walking around overhead. But when the sun rose, they knew it would be safe to come up again.
Gameknight went first. He made a small opening in their hidey-hole, then peaked his hide out. He didn’t see any monsters around, so he climbed out. Just then a giant spider dropped down from the trees and tried to get him. Pulling out his diamond sword, he battled with the spider, slashing at it as they fought. But the spider fought back as well. Its sharp claws scratched into his armor, doing a little damage. Fortunately, his armor protected him.
When Gameknight999 finally killed the spider, he told Fisher to come on up.
Fisher was afraid, because he hear the battle that had been going on, but Gameknight999 convinced him that it was safe, so he came up. Together, they continued following the trail of the bandits that led toward the mountains.
They traveled for along while without seeing an monsters, but then they came to another village. This one looked empty like Fisher’s, with some of the buildings destroyed. Many of the burned-out building were still smoking, as if they’d just been destroyed. This worried the pair.
“Maybe the bandits are still here?” Fisher said. He sounded afraid.
“Maybe, but we’re ready for them…right?”
“Right,” Fisher said.
They searched the village and found nothing. All the NPCs were gone.
“They must be down in the crafting chamber,” Fisher said to Gameknight999.
“Let’s go check.”
The two friends walked to that tall watchtower at the center of the village. Going into the main building, the dug away at the secret entrance to the tunnel, then took the ladder down underground. When they reached the bottom, the ran to the large circular room, hoping to find the village crafter.
It was empty, but they could hear sounds coming from the crafting chamber. With his sword in his hand, Gameknight999 flung open the doors and stared into the crafting chamber, and he was shocked at what he saw.
The crafting chamber was filled with lava! There were floating items on the ground, probably from the people that burnt from the lava. He walked around and looked into the minecart network, but the rails were gone. It was like there were never any rails at all. What had happened here?
Trying to shake away his fear, he looked around and saw arrows sticking out of the weall.
Gameknight collected the arrows and headed back up to the surface. But too bad that the tunnel was already occupied.
“So we meet again, User-that-is-not-a-user,” Erebus cackled. Surrounding him were withers, their read focused on Gameknight.
Gameknight suddered and took a step back.
“Your friend are dead,” Erebus smiled. “I killed him.”
Gameknight drew his sword and rushed toward Erebus, but before he could reach him, the withers launched hundreds of wither skulls at him.
Gameknight rolled to the side as the flaming skulls smashed into the ground, spashing poison all around the crafting chamber. Standing, Gameknight charged at Erebus, hoping to kill the King of the Endermen before the withers could fire again, but he didn’t notice the pressure plate on the ground. As soon as he stepped on it, a tingling sensation spread all across his body. His vision blurred as he were going through a portal.
And in a blink of an eye, he appeared in another crafting chamber that was darkly lit. But somehow he could tell that he was not alone. There was someone else here…and for some reason, that person made him afraid.
A user was in the chamber! He was in a skin that made him look like an assassin, wearing enchanted diamond armor with a diamond sword with enchantments. His username; GrieferKing117 shone over his head with a thread, all NPCs could see this, but his was different, he’s thread was dark red, not silver like all the others. GrieferKing117 was killing the villagers! Gameknight had to stop him from killing all the NPCs.
“What are you doing?!” Gameknight called out to him.
The griefer turned toward him and smirked, and said, “I’m living my mark, Gameknight. When you stopped griefing, I took the crown as the best griefer in Minecraft, I rule this server now. I tricked the admin into giving me Operating Powers and banned him. I am now the general to an army.”
He tuned around and called into a mineshaft; “MASTER! THE USER IS HERE!” And an endurance teleported into the room, but this endearment was…
“Erebus!? But you’re supposed to be dead!”
The User-that-is-not-a-user said with shock.
“True, true, but GrieferKing here coded enough to respawn my essence, I now can respawn when I die.”
The bloodred enderman chuckled at Gameknight,
“He and I made a deal, he kills you, I don’t kill him when my army breaks into the physical world once and for all, and we have a contract to prove it, we are done here. WITHERS!!”
He called out. 16 Withers then appeared into the chamber and finished off what was left of the NPCs, and then focused their sights on the user-that-is-not-a-user…
The withers started firming skull with there poison Gameknight had no milk to cure it and know he had to be careful not to get hit. One hit the wall behind him nearly missing his head another hit the wall splashing the floor with its deadly black poison Gameknight was diving and ducking as if he was playing dodgball, a deadly dodgball he was moving gracefully. If he made a mistake it wound be deadly then suddenly a skull hit at his feet the impact knocked him back against the wall he was surrounded the withers cackled evilly then Gameknight heard a pair of footsteps soon joined by another more and more joined the withers turned then hundreds and hundreds of howls sounded fulling the air with there cries it was a pack of wolves.
From Princess Puppy Poof
As the Wither locked their attacks on gameknight they suddenly fell to ground as if exhausted. GameKnight turned to the red ended man but he too was on the ground. Gameknight looked around. Every thing was laying on the ground. Then as if there was an anvil pushing on his back Gameknight too felt the awkward heaviness dragging him down. Even though Gameknight tried to stand once more he was stuck to his position of the floor. It was as if the gravitational pull of the earth was multiplied by 1,000.
“MWAHAHAHAHA” Laughed Greiferking as hovered over everyone. “Did you really think that I was going to let you push me around Erubus. Now you need to bow to me!”
“YOU TRAITOR!” screeched Erubus.”I AM THE KING OF THE ENDERMAN! I WILL NEVER BOW YOU!”
“Blab, Blah, Blah.” said Greiferking. “You were going to kill me anyway.”
“Uhhhh…No. I was not.” stammered Erubus.
“Save your Yapping Erubus.”
While the User and the Enderman argued, Gamenight pulled out his bow. He aimed at Greiferking. He shot Greiferking right in the back.
“WHAT IS THIS?” yelled Greiferking. “You dare shoot me!?”
“Yes” said Gamenight calmly, more calmly then intended. He readied his bow and tried to shoot Greiferking again. This time Greiferking was ready and sliced the arrow in half with his sword. Gamenight remembered a quote that Sun Tau said in his book called the ‘Art of War.’; ‘When weak, appear strong…’ Gamenight looked around the chamber and saw Fisher. He suddenly got an idea.
“Fisher!” yelled Gamenight. “Toss me your fishing rod!”
“What?” asked Fisher.
“Just do it!” yelled Gamenight
“I don’t know how this will help but here.” said Fisher as he tossed the fishing rod to Gamenight. Gamenight caught the fishing rod and turned to face Greiferking. Greiferking laughed.
“How is a fishing rod going to defeat me Gamenight?” he asked mockingly.
“Fishing rod? Oh this is no ordinary fishing rod.” said Gamenight. “This the sacred fishing rod of…uh…The sacred temple of Fisherville and Fisher is the chosen Fisher Priest!”
“What?” said Fisher. Gamenight glared at him. Fisher suddenly understood the plan. “I mean…Yes! I am the great priest of Fisherville.” Said Fisher in a phony Indian accent “Ooh…you have messed with the wrong people! You better flee before it is too late!”
“Yeah right!” I think you are the one who should flee.” Said Greiferking. “Oh wait! You can’t! HAHAHA!”
Erubus cleared his throat (or whatever endermen have as a throat) “Um… am I the only person who finds this battle stupid?”
“Shut up Erubus.” said Greiferking.
“Oh yeah? Make me.” Erubus shot back.
Greiferking took a water bucket out of his invertory and started floating towards Erubus.”Make you I will make you Erubus. Just repeat that one more time.”
Erubus screamed in fear. “Please! I will do anything, ANYTHING! Just get that away from me!”
Greiferking smiled cruelly. “Ok. For you to live, you have to be my servant and do whatever I say. It doesn’t matter if it is embarrassing, you still need to do it. You have to speak with permission from me. When you need to speak, just raise your hand. Whenever speaking to me you always to need to end the sentence with “Sir” or “Lord”. Understood?”
Gamenight almost burst out laughing but caught himself. He looked Fisher and saw that he was thinking the same thing. This was priceless for them.
Erubus turned pale. “That is too much to ask for.”
Greiferking raised his water bucket.
“Ok…Ok. I understand sir.” said Erubus as if it was the last thing he wanted to say.
“Good now where was I Erubus?” asked Greiferking.
“You were at the part when Gamenight claimed that Fisher was a powerful fishing priest, sir.” Erubus said.
“Oh yeah.” said Greiferking as he turned back to Gamenight. “Blah, blah, blah, you should flee. Etc. Etc. HAHAHA!”
“Your pathetic Greiferking!” Gamenight spat. Gamenight swung his fishing rod at Greiferking. Greiferking got caught in it and struggled to get off.
“What are you waiting for fool!” Greiferking screamed at Erubus. “Help me get this off me.”
“Um…” said Erubus. “You do realize that I am stuck here sir.”
“Ugh fine.” said Greiferking.
“Oh no you don’t.” said Gamenight before Greiferking had the chance to release Erubus, causing more problems. Gamenight pulled his fishing rod toward the lava.
Greiferking laughed. “You fool. I am a User. I could respawn and torture you more!”
“No.” said Gamenight. “This lava won’t just kill you, but it will destroy your very minecraft account. It is called Cursed Lava.”
Greiferking’s smile wavered. “What do you mean?”
“He mean that you won’t be able to play minecraft again.” said Fisher. “You won’t respawn in any server or world.” Your screen will go back to your main desktop and then your computer will burst into flames.”
Before Greiferking could say anything, Gamenight pulled the fishing rod as hard as he could and pulled Greiferking into the lava. Then Greiferking froze as if he was AFK. Suddenly the heavy weight that pushed Gamenight down wasn’t there. Then Greiferking’s charecter burst into flames. Greiferking was gone.
Gamenight aimed his fishing rod at Erubus.
“We need information. Or you are next.”
Erubus sighed. “Why not? There is no need to act like a tough guy anymore. What do you want to know?”
Gamenight smiled. “Where can we find the Blaze king?”
“He is in the land of lava and suffering. He is in the biggest and tallest building.”
“Since when have you been the Oracle?” asked Gamenight.
“I promised I would not give the exact location.” said Erubus. “Anyways I am out of here.” Then Erubus disappeared in a poof of purple particles.
Gamenight turned to look at Fisher. “The land of lava and suffering. That’s obviously the Nether.”
“The biggest and tallest building is obviously a nether fortress.” said Fisher.
Gamenight thought back to the last time he been to the Nether. His friend Herder had been infected with Herobrine’s XP and Gamenight had been able to destroy Herobrine while saving Herder, but the memory still gave him the creeps. Just thinking back and seeing Herder with herobrine’s evil, glowing eyes almost made him scream. But he had no choice. He had to give the bandits the blaze rod so that they could release his friends and the other villagers.
Gamenight pulled out his obsidian blocks and started to build a Nether Portal. When he was done he lit it. Gamenight looked at Fisher and saw he was pale.
“Gamenight” said Fisher. “I’m scared. I am not as courageous as my little brother and sister. I mean, volunteering to help you even if it meant becoming the lost. I can’t do that!”
“You are as courageous Fisher.” said Gamenight. “You faced your fear of water and became the best fisher in the village. I don’t blame you for being scared. I am too. There were times when I was so scared I wanted to just run and hide somewhere safe. But we have no choice. We need to save our friends.”
Fisher sighed “Your right Gamenight.” I won’t let my friends die because I was scared to help. FOR MINECRAFT! FOR MY FRIENDS!”
“FOR MINECRAFT! FOR MY FRIENDS!” Repeated Gamenight. The User-that-is-not-a-user smiled at Fisher. “Come on! We have a blaze king to battle!” Then he walked through the portal.
