Gameknight’s POV
I was napping peacefully when….”Tommy…..Tommy…..THOMAS FEYNMAN” My eyes snapped open, caught off guard he shocked me into sitting up straight. ”Yes, Mr. Plank?!” I yelped. I was in History class, Mr. Plank is the name of my teacher, and most of the time he really isn’t strict, but I guess I fell asleep yet again, for at least the 3rd time this semester. Mr. Plank sighed, ”I asked you a question. I’ll ask again, ”What was the most important event to happen in the 10th century BC?” He asked exasperated.
I had know idea… my mind still somewhat asleep, and before the lesson began my mind was on…. other things…im not the everyday student, im not the fastest, the smartist, or one of the popular kids in school, but still…im more important then they know… Im a gamer, a Minecrafter to be more precise, in gaming terms im a User, but….at the same time….im not. Today i wasn’t wearing my usual Minecraft t-shirt…. I had a custom one on that I designed, i’v been debating to myself if I should do this or not. Yes, it is kinda weird to debate to yourself about a shirt. Its sky blue with bold print that says Gameknight999, with my minecraft avatar on it, who also has a sky blue shirt, as well as green pants, I just got it in the mail yesterday.
My thoughts were cut short, Mr. Plank redrawing my attention, ”Come on now we just learned this 10 minutes ago…. but then agen you were sleeping all of class today. I’ll-” I knew that I was about to be scolded, in front of class no less… ”Thomas Feynman,Thomas Feynman please come to the front office,” the intercom ringed, I wonder what thats all about? Mr. Plank sighed, ”You better go see what that is all about, go on now before I change my mind!” I grabbed my Nike string backpack, swinging it on to my back, I waved goodbye to my only friend in the school Shawn and rushed out of the door, pulling it shut behind me.
As I walked down the hall torward the front office, I saw my little sister Jenny, as always she had dried paint on her hands, her shirt was a Rainbow, constantly being splattered with paint. Her Brown hair was up in a pony tail, likely because she was recently painting. She was walking with the school nurse, I upped my pace to catch up to them, ”What’s going on, Sis?” I said worried, as she sneezed, ”Ah,Tommy! Your little sister has the first signs of the flu.” the nurse said to me while we walked into the Front, ”Sense it almost lunch time, we thought that could maybe walk your sister home, anyway you both go home during lunch most of the time.” She asked me. ”Im fine with that.” I replied, ”I’ll walk Jenny home, eat lunch, and come right back in time for class.” I tell the nurse as we arrived at the front office.
”Come on Jenny. Lets get you home,” I grab her hand, and pull her torward the door, pushing it open. ”Hey… don’t, pull me, just because I feel sick…I don’t have to be lead, I know the way!” She whined as I lead her out the doorway.”Hey im your big brother, im supposed to take care of you, even if it puts me in danger,” I wink at her, I let go of her hand, then whispered, ”Even if I have to battle Herobrine all over again….i would, if It would to make you safe” I look straight ahead, glancing at her. ”But… you…I can take care of myself, you know.” She whimpers, I shrug. ”I know, you saved me once in minecraft but, that doesnt mean I can’t still look after you here in the physical world, just in case.” Jenny sighed and shook her head, ”Tommy…..Thanks” She looked away grabbed and squeezed my hand then let go, following me through town.
We lived in the suburbs, a city close by, close enough to be convenient. Me and my sister live close to our school in walking distance, about 2 blocks away. As we walk I started to think, maybe if I got home quickly I could use the Digitizer and visit my friends briefly… By then we had walked about 1 block, about to cross the road, There was a gas station on the corner of the street, I could just about see, our house from hear. I hit the crosswalk button, and Me and Jenny waited for the traffic to slow. Thar were no cars in sight at the moment, ”Come on Sis,” I said starting to cross the 4 lane road, Jenny right behind me. I was half way across the road. I felt something that I haven’t felt in a long time….and have only felt when I was in Minecraft when I was The User-that-is-not-a-User, a cold, clammy feeling like icicles stabbing at me from within, the feeling I always felt when one of my enemys was nearby, targeting me or someone close to me. Then I saw it in the corner of my eye, a Truck, spinning out of control… heading straight for my sister!
”JENNY!! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!” I yell pushing her out of the way, she fell on the sidewalk. I was just about to jump out of the way myself when I saw it, it was a man in the truck. He had black hair, and a black trench coat from what I could tell, he had a dark look on his face, a look like a psychopath in some Tv show or movie, and when I thought it couldnt get any worse… I saw his eyes, bright White, Like twin sun’s….. Herobrine’s eyes, but that wasn’t possible, we killed him before he got onto the internet. He couldnt be alive, much less be in the physical world, driving an out of control truck!
I just was starting to run to my sister, when I got hit in the back of my head, the pain stopped me for just an instant, words flashed across my vision along with a voice…. You think that we can’t do anything to you in the physical world…. my eyes went wide, I know that voice!! Then someone else spoke, You thought that I was dead.. ha!!! My revenge is just beginning!!! GAMEKNIGHT999!!! YOU WILL PARISH!!!!
”Herobrine….. ” I mutter, he is alive… he’s driving that Truck…. I was stunned he took action, he slammed the on the gas, turned the wheel, heading strait at me. I didn’t have time to move….. Herobrine slammed into me and then slammed on the brakes, as if to make it look like he tried to stop before I got hit, his eyes dimming to blue, so no-one knew his secret. The pain when I got hit was way worse than anything I’v ever felt, I caught my sister’s eyes, the look of terror that thay held, was the last thing that I saw before my eyes closed.
I felt my body slam into a wall….. my head taking most of the blow, I felt like…. I was about…. to fall asleep….. By, By User-that-is-not-a-User….. Herobrine said darkly Have a nice nap, It….felt like my strength was fading away…. I knew this was the end of me… ‘Please…..leave my sister out of this…..’ thats the only thing that i want….If that’s your final wish…. he paused, ok…… he trailed off Herobrine he must wakeup one-day you know, or you won’t get your revenge. A voice said…thay must think that Im out of it, Dang, your right. i coud somehow sense that Herobrine was shrugging. You didn’t think about that did you…. I cant believe you sometimes….. the words faded from my mind, then the pain only intensifyed, I can’t take all this pain….my head pounding harder and harder, I was about to black out, become no more…. ”TOMMY!!!!!!” I herded as darkness claimed me for eternity…….
Monet’s ( Jenny’s) POV. Note this is a little bit back in time just before the Truck. And its so far the shortist chapter, out of the 5 i have writion so far, Thank you
”Come on Sis” my big brother said starting to cross the street, then he suddenly stopped, I was about to ask what was wrong when… ”JENNY!!! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!” he yelled pushing me down onto the sidewalk for seemingly no reason, that’s when I saw the Truck. Tommy’s face paled just before he got hit, he was muttereing something.
I was terrified, when I saw my big brother get hit by the truck, if he hesitated for just 2 seconds, I would of been hit as well. He was thrown through the air before hitting, the brick walled gas station. Tommy not moving. ”TOMMY!!” I sweled as I tried to get up and run toured him, someone grabbed me from behind.
”Jenny…you shouldn’t go over thar.” It was my dad, I stopped struggleing, but even from hear I saw blood starting to pool under, Tommy. ”Dad.” I muttered while turning around in his arms hugging him, I was crying. ”I saw the hole thing, Jenny I’ve already called an ambulance, don’t worry it’s going to be all right…” Dad said in a calm voice, I hugged him harder.
It wasn’t long before the ambulance arrived, the sirens alerting everyone nearby, kids that were eating thar lunch ran outside to see what was going on, thay were loading my big brother on to a stretcher, then the kids saw the Truck, thay knew what happened, Everyone was in shock. Dad started to slowly walk with me to the ambulance, we sat down, and I tried to not look at Tommy. Doctors hounded us with questions, I was not responding to most of them, dad answering them.
We sat in the hospital waiting room for quite sometime, when the Doctor came in to report, his only words were,” He’s ok….but he’s in a coma….” It’s my falt it’s all my falt…..
Unknown POV
I watched from the sidelines when Herobrine drove the truck, ready to stun him when the time was right, he was able to hit, Gameknight999 with out anyone seeing his glowing eyes or seeing who he was, to them the driver is still a mistery, perfect for us. When the Beam of Darkness hit the kid in the back of the head, I ran to my car, got in and slowly drove by the truck, as if I was wondering what in the world hapand, while Herobrine slipped out of the truck, and in to my car.
”Get down, for now…” I told the Virus, and he did so, then after a few more seconds I speed away, Herobrine popped back up and sat in the car. ”You spun out of control for real, Herobrine,” I shook my head, then continued, ”You did a good job but, now Gameknight knows it’s you and I know that you still need more practice before you drive anything” I said in a disappointing tone,while face palmming.
Herobrine shrugged, ”Hey this is my first-time in the Physical world you know, I still need to get use to this,” he shrugged agen, ”Any way how did you know that was Gameknight999?” he questioned. ”Meh, I already knew who he is in the Physical world, and anyway he was litterly wearing a shirt that said ‘Gameknight999’, with his avitar on it.” I rolled my eyes, at him, ” your lucky that I shot him with that beem before you hit him, he will wake up eventual, maby 1 month to a year…. speaking of which I need to hack Mojan, and make time in minecraft the same to the time in the physical world.” I said thinking out loud, Herobrine listening intently. ”So what do we do now….you never really told me…” The Virus muttered, I laughed with evilness, ”you shall see Herobrine, you shall see….”
Gameknight’s POV
I felt like I was floating in darkness, it’s acutely calm hear. The nexed thing I know i was falling, from i don’t know whar. The wind rushing up and around me, then Splash!!! Water? I wonder…I still coudent move my body, or open my eyes. I started to sinking from what I could tell, down, down, down. Then my back hit the bottom, my body settiling down. I laid thar for awhile, my lungs starting to bern, then something grabbed me, I felt my body being to be pulled out of the water, after a minute I surfaced.
”Gameknight!!! Come on, why are you not moving!!! Gameknight!!!” I heard a paniced voice, I new it but coud’nt put my finger on it. ”Hey Hunter why di- Gameknight?! HEY EVERYONE!!! GET OUT HERE!!!” Ow… thar go my ears…. I began to hear footsteps, thay abruptly stoped and then thay began to shout out questions, then a voice cut though them. ”Ok, im sure you all have questions, I have some as well, Hunter, Sticher, what happened?” my mind is still foggy.
”Hunter was the one who found him, you should ask her not me.” What….Hunter? Sticher? ”I was standing on the wall, patroling when Gameknight fell from the sky, he fell into the mote, I was shocked for a minute, i mean come on, when do people fall from the sky?! Then he started sinking, not moving so I started running out of the village, he was laying on the bottom, I was able to get him out but he hasn’t been moving….” she trailed off then I felt something hit me in the back of my head, making me spuder & gag out some of the water that I partly inhaled, groanning. Well at least I found my voice…..
”You, ok.” I heard from above me, I groaned again then replyed weakly, ”I guess….but I’ve had one of the most crazy day of my life but…. I still can’t move….or open my eyes…… but thanks for asking…..” I moaned. ”Gameknight, what happened to you?” said I think Crafter?? ”I’ll tell you when I gane back my bearings, but you will not believe me…..I still can’t believe it myself.” Im finally able to sit up somewhat, and opend my eyes. ”Yay…” I say sarcasticly ”I can move!”
”Gameknight….sense when were you sarcastic???” Crafter inquired. I closed my eyes and thought about it. ”Yu…… sense I got hit by a truck, in the physical world…. I guess??” I told them truthfully.”Which, was today i think…..it’s the last thing I remember….what!!how, did I get hear….?!” At the thought my eyes snapped open, I started to panic, ”Jenny….what happened to my sister!!!” My heart was betting at least 50 time’s a second, then I remembered who was driving that truck, and I felt my face pale
”Hey, calm down!! Gameknight!! What happened? Why are you panicking, what exactly happened to you in the physical world? Maby if you tell us we can help you, were your Minecraft family, you can tell us” Hunter asked, calmly placing a hand on my shoulder, she then helped me to my feat, even tho I coudent rely stand on my own. ”Let’s get inside the villige it’s getting dark.” She said grabbing my arm draping it over her shoulders in order to help me walk, then started steering me to the village.
When we were inside, Hunter helped me sit down on the village well, I was leaning up ageist one of the suports, already out of breath, my body starting to ache. Crafter then stood up on the rim of the well, ”I don’t really need to call a gathering sense everyone is hear, but I think Gameknight needs to vent a little,” he paused for a moment, looking at me, ”That is, if you feel comfortable, Gameknight.” He asked me.
I inhaled, deeply then exhaled, ”I’ll tell you, im ok with it, if any of you have a question about the Physical world, please don’t hesitate to ask. It might be a little confusing, for you guys. Ok it all started when I was at school, my sister got something we call the Flu,” I explain ”Um, whats the Flu?” Herder asked me, he was sitting down with the other kids, his two coler eye’s, sparking with interest.
I smiled, ”Well the Flu is a type of sickness, that happens during the fall, it’s hilly contagious, and Monet was showing some of the starting signs of the Flu, coughing, sneezeing, and haveing a high temperature. It was around lunchtime at school and sense Monet and me usualy go home to eat, the nurse asked me to walk her home, I was fine with it, I was acutely was about to get in trouble in my History class, I sometimes fall asleep in class so…” I shrugged, This made Hunter and some of the other villagers laugh, I also chucked.
”So we started to go home, we were almost home when….a truck went spinning out of control, me and Monet were right in front of it, and she didn’t see the truck, I pushed her out of the way……but I ended up getting hit myself.” I heard some of the villagers gasp, ”But.. that’s not everything that happened. The Person driving the truck, i’v meet him before, everyone hear knows him…..” I trail off, ”Who was that person, Gameknight? How could we know someone that was in the physical world?” Crafter asked, ”He’s not from the Physical world, the Person driving the Truck was Herobrine.”
This started an uproar, ”What, Gameknight you said that Herobrine was destroyed? How could he be alive, do you have proof. Not that I don’t believe you.” Crafter said speaking for the hole village, ”It’s….hard to explain, for starters I saw thoughs glowing eyes of his and, then he spoke in my mind….I can’t really remember…..” I mutter the last part, ”someone else spoke as well…. I know the voice but I can’t quite remember it. That other person and Herobrine were working together. Im wored for my sister….. she’s still in the Physical world, and sick nonetheless,” I bang my head on the fence behind me. ”And how in the world, did I get hear as well.” I close my eyes thay were starting to water, the village in complete silence, someone then hugged me, I tried to open up my eyes but for some reason I didn’t, I started to whimper, tears started to slowly flow down my face.
I try to keep my emotions hidden when im in minecraft, because im the savour…the User-that-is-not-a-User, but sometimes I just can’t, and I start to brake, and im definitely starting to brake today. ”You idiot….you don’t have to hide your emotions, much less bare your troubles alone. Its ok, Let it out, Let it all out.” Hunter…she always helps, even without her realizing it. Hunter helped me stand with out me even realizing it, and then the hole village was hugging me, thay didn’t care that I could not deal with somethings, in the Physical world, thay just wanted me to be me, & I finally felt like home.
Everyone…..Everyone hear really know how to calm me down, everyone lending me thar support during hard times, and you can’t blame me for being wored, my little sister almost got hit by a car! When the village thought that I’ve been squeezed enough, I spoke. ”Thanks you guys….im just wored for my family in the Physical world.” I say to the crowed. ”Gameknight, do you have any idea how you got hear? I mean your family would not send you hear in minecraft if your hurt, right?” Digger’s voice boomed from the crowd, At this, I sake my head.
”For your first question Digger, I have no idea, the last thing I remember in the physical world was my sister screaming my name, after that I passed out. and you all know how Hunter found me….I could hear the hole thing, but just couldn’t move. And I don’t think my family sent me hear…… I mean… I would spawn further from the village, not fall from the sky, so i don’t think so…” I tell them.
By now it was night, and I could barly hear the moaning of zombies, the bone rattling of skeletons, and the mandible clicking of some spiders. I looked around in panic at the sound, then I noticed that there was no one on the wall’s, eyes widened. Hunter lucky also herd the monsters, looked around, then shouting orders. ”Everyone to your battle positions!!” She yeld, her bow out and arrow notched, Sticher right on her heals,the warriors following the Sisters lead. I tried to run after her and the others, but I couldn’t get up much less stand and run. Grabbing the fence behind me, I tried to support my self and stand but, I fell down when I tried to walk. This time I couldn’t move, my body was exhausted, I pushed my self to hard. The sounds of battle and the commands from Crafter were the only things that told me what was going on but, After a few minutes the sounds of battle seceded.
”Hey… where’s The User-That-is-not-a-User?” I heard faintly, My head ringing. ”Ya, where is he?” A villager yeld out in confusion. ”I’ll go look for him!” I heard Herder yelp, in no time at all he ran to the well & saw me on the ground. ”Gameknight!!” He Yeld wored for his idle. ”i-m……ok-k….” I panted, my eyes closed. ”No your not! SOMEONE ANYONE I NEED SOME HELP!!” Herder yeld, even tho I could not see him, i could tell that his two coler eye’s were filled with worry. Many footsteps were approaching, I couldn’t open my eyes, my breathing was irregular, coming out in short quick breaths.
The footsteps skidded to a halt, I heard gasps from some of the villagers. Herder started to grip my arm, shaking it lightly. ”Gameknight….” He muttered, gripping harder, ”G-gameknight…Gameknight!!” 4 different footsteps came from the crowded, ”Herder…? Is he…is he ok?” Sticher’s voice sounded from my left, her hand lightly touching my shoulder. Herders hand gripped tightly agen. ”I don’t think he is…” He gulped. ”he was laying hear when I found him, and his eyes were barly open, I think he maybe weak, i mean…look, he seems pale….” he muttered in response. ”And he was barly able to stand when we were walking to the village. Gameknight may have been trying to run to the wall as well, I think he yoused to much energy.” Herder explained, and…boy, he was on point. ”You idiot.” Hunter said as she jabbed the back of my neck, hitting one of my presser points. Causing my body to flinch, my shoulders instinctively moveing upward, my body tightening, and also causeing me give off a high pitched yelp. (AN. Like when a boy screams and it sounds like a girl….it’s something like that…. XD)
”Hu….” ”Did he just….” I heard some of the villagers mutter in question, Hunter started to lightly chuckle, then laugh. In no time at all most everyone was laughing, exsepet the select few that know this is not my character. Hunter poked me in the neck agen, I yelped yet agen. ”Wow…this is, new….? ” Crafter stated, though I beleve he’s tilting his head. Before Hunter can unknowingly embarrass me agen……”Stoppp…” I groaned, my face somewhat scrunched up. Im guessing Hunter heard me, she stopped laughing. ”Gameknight!!!” She yelped, shocked. At this everything became silent. ”Your up!! Wate…you were up the entire time!!!” She practicaly screamed.
I flinched, she yelled in my ear. ”Ya… it happened agen…” I mutterd, my eyes partly open. ”but….I don’t wanta move…” I say my voice muffled. ”Well, you can’t lay on the ground forever, Gameknight.” Crafter said, kneeling and placing a hand on my shoulder. ”If anything your worn out you need some rest.” I moved my head slightly to see Crafter. ”Im…ok…I can help out alittle…bit…” my eyeslids dropping slightly, each time I stutter. ”No Gameknight, You, definitely need some sleep (An, if someone said that to my bff Alexis, she wood groan.”Sleep is for the week…” then fall asleep in 2 seconds later… just saying.) you’re bodys shutting down, thats a telltale sign that you need rest.” I don’t reply struggling to keep my eyes open, and not succeeding.
Crafter pats my shoulder lightly, ”Digger.. I think Gameknight is almost out. He’s going to fall asleep any minute now, you mind making sheer he gets into a bed, ok.” Crafter asks, I only heard some of the rest of the conversation, most of it jumbled up. Before completely falling asleep, I felt like I was being lifted and carried, glad that my Family hear in minecraft is hear to support me, ‘Family takes care of family’ and in the end of every adventure hear in minecraft…. and though out the countless times I almost died…and had to fight Herobrine… & thought that me and my family killed him, which I can’t really make that kind of clame any more…now that I know that he is still alive…. im glad that I accidentally activated The Gateway of Light, it seems like a million years ago, but it gave me this family…… and my friends….
