Book 1 of the JackoDraco9241 Series
By John P. and Eero C.

This Book is dedicated to

Author of my favorite Minecraft series including my favorite book
“Herobrine’s War”

So What Is Minecraft?

Minecraft is an open 3D world sandbox video game where it has no required goals to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game. The style is called “sandbox” because it provides a creative landscape with no fixed goal and endless possibilities. Its blocky design is rather kid-like, too: Characters’ heads are square, colors appear in chunks, and even trees look like they were grown in a Lego lab. It was originally made by Markus ‘Notch’ Persson. It was run by a company called Mojang before being sold to Microsoft in 2014 for 2.5 billion American dollars. It is the best-selling video game of all time, and over 200 million copies of the game have been sold. It can be played on computers, Xbox, PlayStation, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile. The game is where players can build anything. The game which has been described as like an ‘online Lego’ involves building blocks and creating structures across different environments and terrains. Set in a virtual world the game involves resource gathering, crafting items, building, and combat. You can also play with friends. In Survival Mode you are put in a life or death situation. You start by destroying trees to make wooden tools and end by defeating the Ender Dragon. Though you can also go to the End City to get cool stuff. Some people think that is where the game really ends. But when the game ends you can skip the credits and keep playing. You don’t leave the world and make a new one. You can keep building, exploring your world. You choose when you end. And Creative Mode lets you go into your imagination and build whatever you want! From small houses to  GIGANTIC Castles with many blocks to choose from. The sky’s the limit. Plus you can make people go wow with Redstone machines! Minecraft is for most kids the first online game they play. And it was my first too. And there are different types of Minecraft, there is Bedrock Edition, and there is Java. So yeah they are obviously different, though it depends on what is cool about each of them, Bedrock actually in my recommendation is pretty cool. You might think it’s just like the first version of Minecraft, but it isn’t. Java/Vanilla Minecraft was the first version of Minecraft. Now you might think it is just very old and outdated. But Minecraft is updated. From 1.8.8/start of Minecraft to 1.19/Wild Update. It might actually take years, maybe even decades to stop Mojang. There are so many things you can do in Minecraft. Question: who would want to stop Mojang? I might be eleven years old writing the book right now, but I can tell you that in the future I will be playing Minecraft. (Fun Fact, even adults play the game!) So it’s not really childish. It is totally appropriate for kids 8+.

Chapter 1
Welcome to Minecraft

“Hi, Jonah, Camden!” Jackson said, walking towards Jonah and Camden, holding his lunch. “You ready for the big game tomorrow?” Jackson asked, sitting down.  Now he wasn’t talking about baseball or basketball or any sports, he was talking about Minecraft. Today was a Friday and Jonah and Camden are going to Jackson’s house to play an Annual Bedwars tournament. Jonah, Camden and he were pros at anything. Bedwars, Skywars, if they were in a competition of being the fastest at speed running they would be in third place. Now speed running is when players tried to beat Minecraft the fastest, and their fastest time was fourteen minutes, and sixteen seconds. The world record is nine minutes and thirty-six seconds, and second place was eleven minutes and forty-six seconds. They were undefeatable at anything.
“You bet a million dollars I’m ready.” Jonah said. Jonah was the guy that wanted to get things done, he plays any sports and video games. His favorites are Roblox, Fortnite, Battlefront 2, and Minecraft. But his favorite is Battlefront 2. He loves Star Wars, he loves Imagine Dragons, probably the biggest fan in the school. He knows the best hits by heart, and he has a good voice too.
“I bet a trillion I’m ready.” Camden said. Camden was into anything Jonah and Jackson were into, he also plays a game called Terraria. A game kind of like Minecraft but way more complicated. (at least for me) Jackson had signed all three of them up to play the Annual Bedwars tournament. A new mode where they were challenged against the best players worldwide. And they had been practicing all month for this. After school they would sleep over and play the day. It was lunch and they had all finished. They always finish early to talk about Minecraft.
“I can’t wait for the new Caves and Cliffs update coming in three months.” Jackson said, sitting down.
“I heard that there is a new ore coming.” Camden said.
“I hope it’s rare, it would be nice if there was something new like the Netherite update in 1.16.” Jonah said. Jonah always was the first one to find out how to use the new stuff in the next update. They would talk on and on about Minecraft. But when recess came, Jackson, Jonah and Camden were all about football. They’ve loved it ever since their favorite team had won the Super Bowl and they hadn’t won it in fifty years! Yup, the KC Chiefs. They were great at making pro plays. Jackson was a fast kid, but a big arm, just like Lamar Jackson (get it Lamar Jackson) so he played QB and played a lot of Raven’s plays (a lot of the Ravens’ plays are QB sneaks also known as QB running plays). Jonah was small, and can break people’s ankles no problem. (As is juking people out, which people like to call breaking people’s ankles.) So he played running back. And Camden with the hands. He can catch any football no matter how many people guard him. They made a few of their own plays, but still undefeatable. Once recess was over they headed to enchantments. All three had entrepreneurship. They were making a dodgeball business. Next week was the market fair, and they were ready, so they had time to talk about Minecraft. Once enhancements were over, they headed to advising. But they were all in different advising rooms. So they contacted through their book that they are going to sell next year in entrepreneurship. Called a Phantom Attack. Then after forty-five minutes of school, school was over. They rushed to Jackson’s mom’s car. They got in and headed home. When they got there they started getting prepared. It was dinner and they had Chick-fil-a. They set up, and were ready, they went to bed early to get some more rest. Jackson couldn’t sleep. He was too excited to play. He thought of winning the game. All that money. He’d be a millionaire. Then he drifted off to sleep. He had a dream that he was in Minecraft. He was building a house; he had a journal and he saw what he had written in it.

Minecraft, Day 1
So I got sucked into a game called Minecraft, yup, seems impossible but it happened, I built a house and I’m gonna stay the night first. And before I got sucked in I saw HEROBRINE! He threw something at me and now I’m sucked in. Well hopefully I can get out, and this journal can help anyone else that gets sucked in. Well it’s getting late so I’ma end it here.
House: 65, 72, 125

Jackson put down his tools and then someone was banging on the door. Jackson looked and saw it was zombies! Jackson got out dirt blocks and placed them in front of the doors. Jackson then grabbed his tools again and was ready. Then arrows shot through the window.
“Shoot! they had to be skeletons” Jackson said annoyingly. Then he had an idea. He started building up. He destroyed the top block on his room and jumped on. He then got his shield out and let the skeletons shoot him. The arrows bounced off and hit the zombies. After about a minute all the zombies were dead. Then it started to become daylight. Jackson killed the skeletons and then he saw a figure. A person with white eyes and the figure looked like Steve. Then the figure disappeared. Then he looked behind him and there he was, Herobrine. Herobrine hit him and he fell back. Crawling backwards until he hit a tree Jackson was cornered. Then he woke up. His alarm was going off.
“Jonah! Camden!” Jackson said, shaking them “C’mon! The tournament is starting!” Jackson couldn’t wake them up.
“Uh,” Camden said, looking at the time. “It’s only 11:50, we have ten more minutes.” Camden said laying down again.
“But we need time to load Minecraft and stuff!” Jackson said. Camden and Jonah stood up. “C’mon, we’re gonna lose money instead of gaining it.
“Well, let’s get ready.” Jonah said, getting up. They all grabbed their computers, they got their drinks, they had been storing up Starbucks drinks. They loaded Minecraft and joined the server. When the timer started they loaded into the first round. The games had started. They were at it nonstop. They had one every round with no elimination. It was a twenty-four-one challenge mode (Kind of like twenty-four-seven). They fought and fought until they were here. Their last game. The final battle, the last fight. Okay, Okay, I’ll stop, let’s get with it.
When they started Jackson got the swords and tools. Jonah got the blocks, and turns out the other teams were teaming. Luckily Jackson, Jonah, and Camden like a challenge. They had killed some teams, until it came down to Red Team, Green Team, and Blue Team. They had max forge (which upgrades the Iron and Gold spawner to buy items), they also had Sharpness (Which gives your sword more damage), they had max protection (You might guess that it gives your armor more protection against hits), So they were pretty much O.P. (Stands for Overpowered). Surrounding their bed was (in order) Wool, Wood, End Stone (From the End dimension), Blast proof glass (Protects your bed from fireballs or TNT), Then hardened clay, then surrounding all of that is wool (To trick players to think it is just wool around the bed). Let’s get a close-up view on the game. It looks like Jackson and Jonah are attacked by Red, and Green is coming up behind them.
“Jonah, Camden, plan X-5.” Jackson said on comms.
“Got it.” Jonah and Camden said. Jackson, Camden, and  Jonah talk to each other on comms/technically voice chat. So he headed around the bed placing TNT all around it. Now you might be thinking but that would destroy the bed defense. Well, remember that they have blast proof glass so that everything under that won’t explode. Then Jonah lit the TNT up and Jackson and Jonah built up with blast proof glass. BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!! The TNT blew up and destroyed all of the wool surrounding the bed. The players blew off the Island. Then Jonah went to get red’s island to destroy their bed while Camden went to green. While they were doing that Jackson guarded. As Jonah went to red, Jackson saw green and blue coming, and he was alone. How could he kill all of them? He got an idea; Jonah saw green and blue and started heading back to help Jackson out but-
“Jonah go get red’s bed before they join the party! I got this.”
“Got it.” Jonah headed back to red. Jackson ran towards the players and he was ready for battle. They kept running towards each other, the green team got out bows and started firing at Jackson. Jackson drank a potion of swiftness and a potion of leaping and flew into the air, got out his bow and shot some arrows and then got out a water bucket and placed the water bucket right before he landed. He landed in the water and scooped the water back up and started running towards them. As he ran towards the players he placed TNT behind him but didn’t ignite the TNT. He zoomed past the players and placed TNT in front of them and ignited the TNT. The players ran back in retreat. But they weren’t fast enough. The TNT blew behind them and ignited more TNT. It passed the players, so they turned around straight into TNT. It blew up and they all died. Jackson ran to Green’s bed. They respawned back at their base. Jackson got out his diamond sword and hit one of the players of the island. Then in the chat it said.

Jonerplayz10917 destroyed the Red Team’s bed.

That means that Jonah destroyed Red’s bed. Jackson kept killing each of the green players but when he destroyed one the other one spawned back. He couldn’t kill those people each time. Then he saw it in the chat.

Camdez destroyed Green Team’s bed.

Then right over his shoulder a fireball stroked past him. He looked and someone from the blue team tried to shoot Jackson.  It popped onto the screen. !BED DESTROYED! Jackson almost fell off the bridge. Then he saw Jonah running towards him to help but the person from the blue team shot a fireball at Jonah and he didn’t see it coming!
“JONAH! WATCH OUT!!” But it was too late he was hit and fell.
“NOOOOOOOO!” Jackson killed the green people and ran towards blue’s bed. He was shot from behind. Luckily it hit the ground first, so he just flew into the air. He turned the other way and shot some arrows at them.
“You can do this!” Jonah said. Jackson ran towards a player who was up on top of a pillar made of wool. Everyone knows to never build up and stay there. Now for bridging, sure. But for sniping? Only do that if you have walls around you. He shot an arrow and the player fell. Man are these people dumb? Jackson thought. When he was on the last bridge to the base. Then when he got to blue it was unoccupied. He liked it that way.
“Blue coming towards you Jackson!” Jonah said.
“I see them.” Jackson said. Jackson shot an arrow at them. As he shot arrows, they shot fireballs. What is it with this team about fireballs? Jackson dodged every single one, what they didn’t know is that they were destroying their own bed! Jackson was moving in front of their bed, so they technically didn’t have to lift a finger to destroy the bed defense. When there was only wool left he placed TNT. It blew up and he destroyed the bed. He mined the bed and it was destroyed

Jackzon_Gamerz10917 destroyed Blue Team’s bed.

Now it was a final showdown between Jackson and the Blue Team. Well bye that’s the end of the book! See you later! Oh and make sure to read the second book called the Final Showdown…….. Ha! Got you! I’m pretty sure I got you. You thought that was it!? Well think again! Jackson’s adventure hasn’t even started yet! Well Jackson was looking at the blue team with the “You think you stand a chance face” What? You think there is no such thing? Well brain buster, there is. The blue team shot a fireball Jackson tried to deflect it, but he didn’t. He flew off the edge and started to fall into the helpless, nothingless, escapeless- well I could keep going describing the void, but we don’t have time for that do we? Let me check… Yup pretty sure. It all seemed hopeless for Jackson but then he saw his way out of it.
“NOOO!” Camden said. When the blue team saw him, they didn’t even recognize him. He was in diamond armor. With diamond gear and a bow. He shot fireballs at them. They turned around and shot with no mercy. Camden was losing hearts badly. They thought they had him, but then an arrow hit one of the players. They turned around to see Jackson there.
“Hello There!” Jackson said, trying to sound like Obi-Wan Kenobi, he didn’t care if they couldn’t hear him. They were confused. They must have been using hacks. Whaaaaaaaat! Oh wow what an amazing twist. Then one player went to attack Jackson but when the other player turned around Camden was gone. He was nowhere to be found. Then the player went to Jackson. Jackson was able to hold off the players. Jackson was at two HP one fireball would do it, and the players knew that. They shot a fireball at him. He shot an ender pearl just at the right time. They fireball stroked past him as he teleported. Jackson landed across the map. They shot fireball after fireball. Jackson shot an arrow and each of the fireballs and the fireballs deflected. Betraying their players. One of them was at one HP (Health Point) Jackson shot his arrow and the player died (And here’s a tip. When you kill a player in Bedwars you get all their goods. Like Iron, Gold, all their good stuff. Not their pickaxe, Sword, stuff like that. Other stuff like TNT, Blocks, and for Jackson, Fireballs. What the heck is a player doing with 10 stacks of Fireballs! That’s 160 Fireballs!! (There are 10 stacks of sixteen fireballs. You do the math) Jackson fired like 5 fireballs per second! (FPS no not frames per second, Fireballs per second!) Now that was a change of power. The player then started spamming. It was getting hard to dodge them. Then Jackson’s keyboard died.
“Camden!” Then a fireball was coming straight towards him. “CAMDEN! CAMDEN!!” Then he heard a sound, a teleport sound. Then the fireball exploded. Jackson closed his eyes. But he didn’t hear a death sound. He opened his eyes and saw Camden in front of him, with his shield up. Wow, what perfect timing. The fireball hit the shield. Camden gave Jackson a golden apple. He ate it. Then the battle continued. Jackson fired the fireballs. The player barely dodged them. When will this player die? NoahSoa never is impossible to kill. They would always eat golden apples and then it would all happen again. It’s golden apples or going to a random base then teleporting to another to get resources. Jackson’s fingers were starting to sweat and NoahSoa started to memorize Jackson’s moves so he could get a critical hit or get to him faster when he teleports to another island. That’s how you want to go? Well I’ll have to freestyle then. Jackson thought to himself. I love that saying. It’s in a few movies I’ve seen. Well back to the story. Jackson kept doing random moves that were not his favorite way to fight. But it was the only way. Jackson threw an ender pearl in the air and another one next to the player he teleported to the player and got a hit and then he teleported back to where he was. The player kept getting low health and then the player was down, and the player was weak. Jackson held up his sword at the player and the player chatted.

[NoahSoa]  ¡No por favor! ¡Tener compasión! (For those that don’t know Spanish that means “Please! Have mercy!”
[JackoDraco9241] Why! I don’t want this game going longer. I’ve wasted enough time playing all the other battles. No a whole DAY playing Bedwars! I’m finished!
[NoahSoa] Está bien que ganes, GG  (That means “Fine you win, GG”)

Jackson thought that was it, so he raised his sword. But then the player jumped up and was about to hit Jackson with his sword. Then he was hit by a fireball. Camden was right there behind him. I told you. I’ve had enough. Jackson thought. They left the game. Then they spawned in a server that looked very old, maybe back to the 1.13 update. Then something popped up on the screen.

[Server] Welcome to Bedwars’ 1st ever server!
[Server] You were brought here because you won the 24/1 Bedwars game!
[Server] The grand prize is 1 million dollars!
[Server] Now the question is who will take it?
Jonerplayz10917, Camdez, OR JackoDraco9241?

Jonah, Camden, and Jackson didn’t think of that.
“I should take it,” Jackson said with a “You Know Why” voice.
“No, I should take it.” Jonah said with pride.
“But I won the match.” Jackson sounded like he was trying to make it obvious that he deserves it.
“But I’m the one who found out about this whole dang thing!” Jonah was in rage.
           “Yeah so?”
“Soooo I should get the money.”
           “But I won!”
           “That doesn’t make a difference!”
“BUT I AM BETTER AT MINECRAFT ” It was all quiet. “I AM BETTER. I TAUGHT YOU EVERYTHING I KNOW!! I WAS THE FIRST TO PLAY IT I GOT YOU INTO IT. I AM THE REASON WE ARE HERE RIGHT NOW! WITHOUT ME WE PROBABLY WOULDN’T HAVE WON THE GAME!” Jonah didn’t look very happy. Jackson stopped. Jonah was trying to hold back tears.
“I know that, and I am grateful for that. But with Covid going around it’s hard. I have to wear masks; I don’t like wearing masks-”
“Nobody likes wearing masks!”
“Okay true, but my dad is this close to losing his job-” Jonah started to say but then the lights went out and back on.
“Wait? Where is Camden?” Jackson asked. Camden was nowhere to be found. Then Jonah continued on. “If we had the money we could finally get stuff that we needed.
“What stuff?”
“A new computer-“
“You don’t need that.”
“Stop interrupting me! I… I… I DON’T WANT TO BE HOMELESS!
“Jonah, look I’m-” Jackson tried to say. Jonah was trying hard not to cry.
“I JUST WANT THINGS TO BE HOW THEY USED TO BE!” Jonah got his computer. “I’M LEAVING… GOODBYE.” Jonah left the room. Shut the door. 10 minutes later Jonah’s mom came into the room.
“Hi Jackson, do you know where Jonah is? Jonah’s Mom said.
“No, he left the room a few minutes ago. Jackson said.
“Okay, He’s probably heading towards the house. Thanks Jackson.” Jonah’s mom left the room. Jackson heard Jonah’s mom leave the house. About an hour later Jonah’s mom knocked on the door. Jackson went to the stairs.
“I got-“ Jackson stopped. Then Jackson’s mom opened the door. Jackson went back up the stairs.
           “He’s gone,” Jonah’s mom said.
           “What!?” Jackson’s mom said.
“I’ve looked everywhere” Jonah’s mom was in tears.
           “It’s okay Brianna”
“But what if he doesn’t come back?”
“Here come sit down.” Jackson’s mom said. Jackson went back to his room. He couldn’t believe it. Jonah missing? Jackson was shocked. It was near October and Jonah and Jackson were already going to the  Halloween party and Jackson was going to be a skeleton and Jonah was going to be a zombie. (Minecraft type. Not the real type).
It’s been a whole Month and Jonah still hasn’t turned up. It’s the rainiest it’s been all year. Lightning shooting everywhere. Thunder like the rhythm of the song “We Will Rock You” by Queen, Boom-Boom-Chick-Boom-Boom-Chick-Boom-Boom-Chick, you know and just kind of repeat.
Jackson was bored. He got on Minecraft and looked at his friends list. WHAT THE HECK! Jackson thought. Jonah was ONLINE! Jackson looked for the Join Game Button but then his whole room went black, and only lightning lit the room which was kind of cool. Then he turned around to open the curtains to his window. Then behind him he heard a voice.
“Hello Jackson.” The voice said. What the heck was that? Jackson felt a shiver down his back, turned around. He saw white eyes on someone or something.
“Who are you!?” Jackson said loudly.
“I am the king of Minecraft.” The voice said.
“Wait what?” There were so many lightning strikes and then he saw a body that looked like Steve’s body. Blue for the shirt and purple for the pants and white eyes. “No…” Jackson was shocked. “HEROBRINE!”
           “Yes! The great HEROBRINE!”
“But you’re just a Myth! A legend! A GLITCH!”
“HOW DARE YOU! I am more than a glitch, a Mistake, an ERROR! No, I am the King of the Mobs and let me give you a taste of your own medicine!” Herobrine was holding something in his hands and then he threw it towards Jackson. What The?! He was hit and then it all turned white. The thunder and lightning got quieter and quieter.  Jackson woke up rubbing his head.
“Uhhhhh, my head.” Jackson looked around “Am I in MINECRAFT?!”

Chapter 2
Sucked Into The Overworld

Jackson looked around. It seemed almost impossible to be sucked into a video game. He looked at himself, he thought he would see a rainbow skin that he made. But he looked at himself and saw him. Just a Minecraft version of him. He stood up, dusted himself off and started to gather wood. He made tools, got food, and made a little house. He found a river and got ink from a squid. He got leather from a cow, feathers from a chicken and made a journal. Then he wrote in it.

Jackson got in his house and forgot to make a bed.
“Ah dang it!” Jackson said, throwing his journal at the wall. Looks like he would have to stay up the whole night. He got a sword and shield. And was ready. Thirty minutes later he thought that he was safe. He put down his tools and then someone was banging on the door.
Jackson wanted the bones so he could maybe tame a dog on his journey. He jumped down and started killing the skeletons. Then they were caught on fire. And Jackson killed them and got eleven bones. He then got his tools and walked for a little bit.
“Well better head out.” Jackson grabbed his tools and got some food and headed out. “Wow. Being in the game had the best view you could get of how it was built.” Jackson said seeing the sun rise up. Jackson walked about a mile (1 Mile = 5280 blocks) He saw an extreme hills biome. Then he added this to his journal.

Extreme Hills Biome: Coordinates are  135, 74, —468

Then he saw a village. He walked up to the village and knocked on someone’s door. “Hello?” Jackson knocked again. But no answer. “Helloooo? Anyone home?”  He knocked on all of the doors. He knew it was rude to charge into a house just for treasures and stuff like that. He saw it was getting dark and he hated zombies, skeletons, creepers, and other mobs that creeped in the night. “Hello? I need a place to sleep for the night!” He was in the middle of the village. GROOOAAAN!!!! Jackson saw a zombie come out of the dark. Well here comes my death. Jackson thought. He got in a fighting position and got his wooden sword out. Just like you fight in Bedwars except with the worst possible tools you can get. Jackson hit the zombie with his sword and then more zombies came. Please, Lord! Help me, let me live! Jackson thought. He hit as many zombies as he could. He couldn’t keep this going for much longer. Then he saw a zombie fly into the air. What the-? Then Jackson saw the iron golem! (An iron golem will fight zombies, skeletons and any dangerous mobs. You can find them in villages). The iron golem was showing the zombies what it feels like to fly (If you play Minecraft you know what I mean) The Iron Golem and Jackson fought the zombies. Jackson saw a zombie trying to punch the door of a house with a family of villagers in it. Jackson ran over to the house and slayed the zombie. Then he ran back to help the golem. When all of the zombies were killed the iron golem saw him and started heading towards him in a bad way. Jackson was cornered with no way of escape.
“Stand down!” someone said. “He is no threat.” Jackson saw a figure.
           “Who are you?” Jackson said.
“Who are you?” The person said.
“I’m Jackson,” Jackson said. “Now who are you?” Jackson said, trying to stand up. The person pulled down her hood. Her skin was like regular skin but I’m guessing her style.
“My name is Christina,” the person said. . “I have a question for you.”
“Okay?” Jackson said stepping back a few blocks
“Do you know Herobrine?” Well that was a question Jackson wasn’t expecting.
“Yes.” Jackson said. Christina grabbed her sword but didn’t pull it out. (Kind of like when characters in movies would be ready for anything). “Wait! I know him because he appeared in my room.” Christina took her hand off of the sword. “Before I got into this game, Herobrine showed up in my room. Told me he was going to give me a taste of my own medicine.” Jackson was as scared as heck!
“Herobrine said the same thing to me.” Christina said.
“What?” Jackson looked confused. “What do you mean?”
“I mean before I got sucked into the game Herobrine told me the same thing and then he threw something at me and then I was in the game.”
”Do you know anyone else that came from earth?”
“No,” Christina said. ” Not that I know of.” Jackson didn’t know what to say. “Well, let me introduce you to everyone.” Christina introduced Jackson to everyone and became great friends with the leader of the village, Camden.
“Hi, I’m Camden. The village’s keeper.” The villager said.
“Camden,” Jackson said. “I have a friend named Camden.” Jackson said sadly. Jackson found out that villagers aren’t just AI, they actually were alive. They could feel joy and happiness, but also pain from a weapon or the loss of a loved one. Jackson spent a few days there and near noon Camden came to him.
           “Jackson, I think it’s time we- uh…-“
           “What is it?” Jackson asked
“Well, there is a way that we could… umm… how do I say this…” Camden thought for a second. “There is a way we could move our hands since you know…” Camden showed him his hands, stuck together by code. NOT by glue or any other accident. “There is one person that can do it. Christina couldn’t, so hopefully you can.” Jackson thought for a moment.
“Sure.” Jackson said. Camden led Jackson to a cave. As they walked in Jackson felt a shiver run down his back.
“This place…” Jackson said to himself.
“What’s that?” Camden asked, turning around.
“Nothing,” Jackson said. A few minutes later they arrived at a door, a big one.
“We are here.” Camden said with a sigh of relief.
“Why were you worried?” Jackson asked with confusion.
“Because, when I led Christina in here the walls started to collapse so we had to get out. But that didn’t happen with us so that’s a sign.”
“Okay, where’s the place where the thing is to free your hands?” Jackson said with a rush.
“Right past this door.” Camden tried to open the door but couldn’t. “Right you have to open the door. Since I have no hands.” Jackson gave the door a push but couldn’t. Then Jackson stepped back and ran into the door. The door creaked open. Then a ghost appeared. It seemed like a villager maybe.
“Welcome Jackson.” The ghost said. Jackson stepped back. “Have no fear. For I am the ghost of Markus Notch Persson.” I think I have heard of that guy. Jackson thought as the ghost led them in. “This is the temple of Minecraft. No user has ever entered here. This temple has been hidden for 100 years in Minecraft Time. This temple allows villagers to break their coding. Do whatever they want. But something comes at a cost.”
“What’s the cost?” Jackson said curiously.
“I wish I could tell but I swore on my life that I would not tell anyone. Not even the villagers know. For if I do it could change the future hope of Minecraft, maybe even the whole planet you live on which as you call it “Earth”. Jackson thought for a moment. Took a deep breath
“I will do it.” Jackson said out loud. “No matter what cost.” The Ghost gave Jackson a map. “This is a map to the Pillager’s Mansion.”
“You mean Pillager Mansion?” Jackson said.
“No, not just any Pillager Mansion, The King Pillager Mansion.”
“I’ve never heard of that.” Jackson interrupted.
“Yes, that’s because it only exists on this server. But I will warn you, the King Pillager’s Mansion is the most dangerous place in Minecraft!” The Ghost started to leave.
“Wait!” Jackson tried to reach for the ghost but soon realized that it is impossible to grab a ghost, unless you are one too. Jackson slipped and almost fell off a cliff, but Camden grabbed him.
“Hew that was close” They both said.
“JINX!” Jackson said. Then Camden led him out of the cave.
“Hey, I think this is when we split ways,” Jackson said.
“Ok, just make sure you stay alive”. Camden and Jackson parted ways, Jackson going with Christina to tell her the news and Camden going with the villagers. To prepare them for battle.
“Wait!” Camden said, running to him. Jackson turned around. “What does “jinx” mean?”
“Oh it’s just something that you say when you and someone else say the same thing.” Then Jackson went to Christina’s house and Camden gathered all the villagers. Jackson had never been to Christina’s house; it was a beautiful house. It had flowers all over it and it wasn’t too big, but not too small either. Jackson knocked on the door.
“Christina? Are you there?” Jackson went into the house.
“Yeah, I’m here.” Christina said. Jackson told Christina the story of how he and Camden went in the cave and they met the ghost of Markus Notch Persson. Then of how he knew how to break the villagers’ coding. Luckily Christina had full Diamond Armor and Tools for Jackson and her. She had a feeling they’d come in handy. Jackson put the Armor and Tools on, and they set out on their expedition. Jackson wrote in his Journal.

Minecraft, day 3
I met this girl named Christina, and turns out that the villagers in the game HAVE FEELINGS! So that is surprising, and I met the lead villager named Camden. And we are now going to break the villagers’ coding. We are going to go to “THE KING PILLAGER ‘S MANSION! “   Well me and Christina should start packing up. I’ll write soon if I’m still alive…

Village 356, 71, -145

Jackson put his journal in Christina’s house.
“You don’t mind if I leave my journal in there?” Jackson asked walking out the door
“Yeah, not at all.” Christina closed the door and they started walking. They asked a few questions to each other like “How old are you?” And stuff like “What’s your favorite food?” Stuff like that. Before they left, they stopped by the village and got some saddles and some apples for horses if they found some on the way. They stopped by the extreme hills and stayed there for the night in a cave. Jackson woke up peacefully. Then he heard something you never want to hear, sssssss! Jackson stood up and walked backwards.
“Easy there fella!” Jackson said in a nervous voice. Jackson backed up a little more. “Christina.” Jackson said with his mouth barely open. Jackson put his hand on his sword. He knew for a fact that loud sounds startle the creepers. And they start to blow up. “Christina!” Jackson said in a whispering voice. But then the creeper started to blow up, but then Christina came up behind the creeper and sliced him in half with her sword.
“You know, you can put it in the chat.” Christina said with a “Fun Fact” voice.
“How, though?” Jackson asked.
“Imagine your typing on a keyboard.” Christina said, closing her eyes. Then a message popped up on the screen.

[Christinus] Hi!

“Wow!” Jackson said in awe. Jackson closed his eyes, and imagined in his house. He could see his room, his bed, his computer, everything in his room.
“It’s like you have your own ghost. Just, you can’t leave your room. Trust me I’ve tried.” Christina said sadly. Then a message popped on the screen.

[JackoDraco9241] What if we could?

“What do you mean?” Christina looked confused. Another message popped on the screen.

[JackoDraco9241] I mean, I have an older brother. I can’t open the door to my bedroom, but what if the door was already open?

“That’s a great idea!” Christina hugged Jackson.

[JackoDraco9241] Okay that’s great and all but how do I get out of this????

“Oh, just try to open the door.” Christina replied. Jackson opened his eyes.
“Ah, wowee!” Jackson said breathing again. “I haven’t had my eyes closed for that long, even when I am praying I can’t close them for that long.” Jackson said.
“Well I think it’s time we get out of here.’ Christina said, grabbing her stuff. They started walking to the mansion. They encountered a few mobs along the way. Christina looked at the map.
“The mansion is just through this jungle.” Christina said, starting to walk.
“Wait.” Jackson said, pulling her arm. We need to get food, just in case we are about to die. Jackson got his enchanted Iron sword and killed a few animals. Got some stone and made a furnace, and luckily found coal too. They smelted the food and split it evenly. They built a house in the trees. I should say a treehouse, but I don’t really care. Then they went through the jungle and then there it was. The King Pillager’s Mansion!

Chapter 3
Mansion of Death

They arrived at the mansion, which was quite a shock to see it was much bigger than any mansion Jackson or Christina had seen.
“Wow-“ Jackson started to say but Christina interrupted.
“Shush!” Christina said in a whispering voice. “I know for a fact that pillagers have good hearing.” Jackson nodded and climbed up to a tree in the jungle and saw that a roof window was open. You see there was glass on the top of the mansion, and it was open, so they decided that was the best place to go. As they placed blocks to get to the top, a vex popped out of a block and tried to attack them but, with a perfectly placed arrow the vex was killed.
“Hope that won’t attract too much attention,” Jackson said.
“C’mon let’s make this quick so they don’t notice us.” Christina said. They were trying to build faster. They made their way up to the top, but when they got there they realized that the beacon was at the bottom, and they would have to pull levers to unlock the blocks on top of the beacon, “Hey, I think we need to pull levers to get to the bottom” Jackson said. Hey! You little Copycat. They jumped down and immediately saw a pillager,
“Get down!” Christina opened a trap door and they hopped in it. Christina gave hand signals. Okay, I need to be quiet… And it looks like I am going to go left, and she is going to go right… If you find the lever… pull it and scream as loud as you can?! No it’s not that… Come get you? Yeah that makes more sense. Okay let’s do this. Jackson nodded. They split ways and Jackson opened the trap door and slowly looked left and right, climbed out and started walking. Jackson came to a corner and then he heard voices. Jackson froze! He looked around and if he was caught he was dead! He grabbed dirt blocks out of his inventory and then he saw an invisibility potion. Thank the LORD! Jackson grabbed the potion and drank it as the pillagers turned the corner.
“Did you heah somethin’?” The pillager said.
“Naw, ca’mon we gonna be late.” The pillager said as they continued walking. Late for what?? Jackson wanted to follow them, but he knew he had to get to the beacon. He then walked around the corner and found the first lever! YES! Jackson turned around and started running back to Christina. He saw he only had twenty seconds left of his invisibility potion. Luckily he was top of his league for cross country. He could run the fifty-yard dash in  seconds! Jackson saw Christina and grabbed her and ran back.
“What the?” Then Christina realized it was Jackson. He let go and they started running. Then they came to the lever.
“It’s all or nothing,” Jackson said, then flicked the lever. Surprisingly only two pillagers noticed, they charged straight at them, but their diamond blades cut right through them. Then the pillager let out a loud scream.
“RUUUUN!!” Christina said running. They ran down the hall, turned the corner and pillagers stopped them.
“Eay, what ya doing, here?” The pillagers pulled out their crossbows. Uhhhhh Jackson tried to think. Aha!
“Well, we shapeshift into users so that truders think we are one of them.” Jackson said in a low voice and bad grammar.
“Well John? Should we let them go?” The pillager turned to the other pillager.
“Hmmmmm, yeh, I think they’re clean, Eero.” The pillager said, the pillagers started walking down the hall. Stupid pillagers.Jackson thought with a grin.
“C’mon, we need to find the next lever,” Jackson said.
“Wait, it looks like there is something on the other side of the map.” Christina said, flipping the map over. “It looks like a map of the mansion.”
“Wait but it only shows part of it.” Jackson said, grabbing the map. “Eh, it’s wet where part of the map shows.” Jackson said. Then Jackson got an idea. “Hey, hey hey hey! What if wherever the map is wet it shows more of it!” Jackson said smartly. “Do you have any water?” Jackson looked through his inventory.
“Yeah, I have a bucket of water.” Christina said, holding a water bucket. She gave it to Jackson. Jackson dumped the water on the floor. He put the map in and held it out.
“Yes Sir.” Jackson said, in a happy way. “Okay we can travel through the vents to the next level. Jackson said, trying to find a vent.
“Over there!” Christina said, realizing that was too loud.
“Hurry, run.” Christina and Jackson ran to the vent. John and Eero came back.
“Eh, you heah somethin’?” Eero said, looking around. “Jeck the vents.” Eero said coming toward Jackson and Christina.
“Go, go!” Christina whispered to Jackson. They crawled through the vents just in time because John and Eero opened the vents.
“Nuttin’ in here.” Eero said, closing the vent. Jackson stopped, looking at the map.
“We need to get out here.” Jackson said, opening the trapdoor slowly. He looked around and saw the lever. “It’s all clear.” Jackson said, getting out of the vents. Christina got out and then they flicked the second lever, and two pillagers were waiting on the other side. Jackson got out his sword and shield and blocked the first arrow and swung his sword at the menacing pillager. Christina got out her bow and shot the pillagers, Jackson blocked another, having the pillagers’ attention. They knew they were taking damage, but they thought Jackson was doing it, not Christina. Jackson kept his shield out and Christina kept firing. Then the pillagers died.
“Phew, c’mon the last one isn’t far from here.” Jackson said, looking at the map.
“Jackson, I don’t really like this idea.” Christina said, stopping.
“Why not?” Jackson said, turning around.
“Because I don’t fully trust the villagers.” Christina said sadly. “I mean, I want to, but something is a little sus around them.”
“How Sus? Like Sussy Sus, Among Us Sus, or Sussy Baka Sus?” Jackson said with a giggle
“I mean not any of those, just sus.” Christina said with a laugh, she stopped. Something was making a sound. “Uhhhhh, I check this corner, and you will check that one. Christina said weirdly, Christina ran to the corner. Jackson went the other way. Then Christina grabbed something from her pocket, put it on the ground and bowed the thing activated. “My lord.” Christina said, looking down.
“Have you found the beacon?” The person said.
“No my lord, but we are in the mansion.”
“Good, change of plans, my master wants the beacon destroyed, when you find the beacon, DESTROY IT.”
“But my lord, if the villagers can fight then you can have more than an army, you could control every single thing in the overworld. Then you could overthrow your brother. Then you can control everything in the nether, and if you have that, your master is surely to give up. You can just tell him that I did do it. That’ll take him by surprise.” Christina said with a grin.
“Not a bad idea… fine, find the beacon,” Then the person disappeared
“Christina, couldn’t find the sound, any luck?” Jackson said, coming to her.
“No, c’mon let’s find the final lever.” Christina said, hiding the thing she had behind her back. They kept walking and soon they came to the last and final lever; they flicked it and the beacon room below opened up. They entered the room and found a chest. Jackson opened it.
“All there is, is Iron blocks and a beacon.” Jackson said weirdly.
“Uh, maybe we have to build it?” Christina said quickly.
“K, I’ll build and you guard.” Jackson said, grabbing the blocks from the chest. He started building and Christina guarded. “Ok, last one and done! Hey, Christina! I’m finished. Christina came in the room and lit the beacon, the light beam went straight up, attracting over fifty pillagers! Jackson heard stomping.
“Get ready.” Christina said, getting out her bow. Jackson got his shield out and got his sword ready. Then around fifty pillagers showed up. Jackson’s shield took the arrows bringing his shield to half durability. Christina stayed in the clear and fired arrow after arrow. Jackson killed a pillager. When they got tired they started to run. Luckily this mansion was big, Jackson and Christina were fast and swift. While the pillagers were slow. Except for the Vindicators. They were as fast as heck! But not as fast as Jackson and Christina. They turned the corner and a Ravager showed up in front of them. They dodged it and they kept running. Then an evoker showed up. Then they came across some archillegers and the pillagers fired a few arrows at Christina and Jackson. But then Jackson stopped. An illusioner showed up. What the-
“Run!” Christina said, grabbing Jackson.
“But why-“ Then Jackson saw a bunch of vexs. Jackson started running. They turned the corner and came to a dead end, and they were surrounded by all the pillagers, vindicators, ravagers, evokes, illusioners, and vexes.
“Wait, wait, we chasin’ the rong ones.” John said coming in front of the group.
“Yeah, they are disguised as users to tick the other users to thinkin’ that they on them side.” Eero said joining John.
“Are you stupid?” A pillager said. “Pillagers can’t shapeshift! These the truders we lookin’ for.” The pillager said. They shoved John and Eero out of the way.
“You don’t want to mess with us!” Jackson said.
“Yeah, we have an army.” Christina said. The pillagers started laughing. As stupid as they are, they had no clue that they activated the beacon.
“Oh that’s hilarious! Where is your “army” exactly” The pillager stopped laughing actually all of the villagers stopped laughing. They then heard footsteps. Then it stopped.
“I’m afraid you’re messing with the wrong people,”  Then Camden appeared with his sword out and ready.
“Okay three against fifty-five. No problemo!” The pillager said.
“Oh, no no no,” Camden said laughing. “I told you, you messin’ with the wrong people”
“Don’t worry.” Camden whispered to Jackson. “Reinforcements are on the way.” Camden got out his bow and his sword. Christina and Jackson got out theirs too. Then all the pillagers readied their crossbows. They were ready and fired. Jackson and Christina ducked. But then they heard clunk clunk clunk. Jackson looked up. All of the arrows were floating.
“What happened?” One of the pilligers said.
“Something called a shield.” One of the villagers said, becoming visible. Then a Vindicator came and instead of one ax he had two! He started swinging but hit nothing. Then he was hit by a sword. Then a villager appeared. He destroyed the vindicator and all of the other villagers appeared. Surrounding the fellow pillagers of all kinds. The pillagers dropped their weapons and surrendered.
“Sir!“ A villager said.
“Yes Dimitri?” Camden said.
“The King!” Dimitri said, tiredly. “He escaped!” Dimitri pointed out a window. Christina got out her bow and took an arrow. Jackson opened the window. She aimed and fired. She hit the king! The king fell but he still got away.
“That oughta slow him down.” Christina said grinning.
“Where to now?” Jackson said.
“Back to the village,” Camden said. “There I have a surprise.” Camden said happily. for you. They headed to the village, and Jackson saw a place that looked like a mining place.
“Wow!” Jackson said in awe. “What is this?” Jackson asked.
“It’s our new underground system.” Camden said. “Now we have contact with every village in the server!” Camden said with pride.
“Camden, tell everyone in the village and in the U.S. (Underground System not the country) to meet me at the well.” Camden nodded and went to tell everyone, and Jackson went to the well.  A few minutes later everyone gathered around the well.
“Ladies and gentlemen, kids as well, I have gathered you all here because I have plans.” Jackson said. Everyone gasped.
“Are you going to kill us!?” A villager said.
“No, no, I didn’t mean it like that.” Jackson said giggling a little. “I mean for this village, I have plans for the village.”
“Oooohh!” Every villager said.
“Okay, so we already have a mine, so we need to build walls, like castle walls. With arching towers as high as a mountain. Herobrine has us in a game, and I say we play it.” Jackson said grinning.
“Yeah! Let’s do it.” A villager said, then other people started to agree.
“Okay, we’ll split all of you into three groups!” Jackson said. “Infantry, close up fighting with the enemy, archers, shooting the enemy from above, builders, to build the village walls, houses, ect, and to mine ores, and materials that we might need.. Okay, tryouts for infantry are with me, archery with Christina, and building and mining with Camden.” Jackson said, taking a breath. Everyone got to their groups, they would have to try out for each group. Jackson saw the good work of a villager; his name is Stephen. Jackson saw a lot of good work, he brought some villagers to archery and building because he thought they would be better at one of those. Once the training was complete everyone was put into groups. And the training, and building began. Soon they had an army. And the women that didn’t try out were in charge of food, and the kids were scouts and messengers. I know, I know, seems a little dangerous but, hey I’m the narrator, I ain’t in charge of this dang thing. Soon they were protected, armed, and ready for anything. Every house has a trap door leading to the underground safe room (U.S.R.) And while in the process, they met a new user. His name was Connor, and he was great at Redstone machinery.
“Hi!” Connor said. He was dressed in a Minecraft t-shirt with blue pants, He had red hair and neon green sneakers.
“If you’re good with Redstone, could you build some defenses and maybe an automatic miner?” Jackson asked eagerly. “We need more soldiers than miners.”
“Okay, sure.” Connor said finally. “Defenses? easy, Automatic miner? Not so much. Do you have a lot of Redstone?”
“Yep, too much.” Jackson said.
“Then I’ll get started.”
“Thanks a lot!” Jackson said, with a sigh.
“Thanks!” Connor picked three of Jackson’s men and headed down to the mines. Days passed, the walls were built, and the defenses were almost ready, and they had extra forces. A village close by was attacked and the village was destroyed, but everyone made it out safely. Jackson trained the new infantry; Christina trained the new archers. Soon they were ready for anything. They had a lava moat around the village which was almost complete. In the mines they found materials like red steel and dark ore. No one though, knew how to use either with the exception of one. They came back up with the materials and crafted full sets of diamond and Iron armor along with swords, bows, pickaxes, all the stuff. Jackson put the unknown materials into a chest and closed it, he sat down near a house and read his journal.
“What are you writing?’ Christina said, sitting down next to him.
“You know, stuff someone might need if they get sucked into the game.” Jackson said, putting his journal away.
“You know that the odds of that happening are like a million to one, right?” Christina said with a little laugh.
“Yeah, but there is still that one, right?” Jackson said with a laugh.
“Haha,” Christina said, punching him in the shoulder. Then a kid came running to them.
“Jackson!” The kid said, trying to catch his breath. “The mobs! They’re coming!”
“Stay here.” Jackson said standing up. They ran to one of the towers. When they got there the archers saluted.
“At ease.” Christina said.
“Spyglass.” Jackson said, putting his hand out. They gave him a telescope. He looked through it. There were about one hundred zombies, skeletons, creepers, and spiders. “Ready the men!” Jackson said. “Christina, you know what to do.” Jackson ran down the stairs. He ran to Camden’s house. He opened the door. “Camden!” Jackson looked around. Nowhere to be seen. “Camden?” Jackson looked around. Where in Minecraft is Camden? Jackson thought. He found a piece of paper lying on the ground.

Dear Jackson, I’m sorry I stole your ore and am now on the move, I will explain later, right now you need to head to my house. When you get there, place one of the obsidian on my crafting table, that should open a trap door in the floor. There you will find me. Also bring Christina too.
Sincerely, Camden The Black

Jackson ran to Christina and told her about the note.
“Camden better have a good reason.” Jackson said to himself. Christina and Jackson went back to Camden’s house, grabbed a block of obsidian and placed it on top of Camden’s crafting table. They fell into a hole in the ground.
“That was uneventful,” Jackson said. They followed the path to an open area filled with new ores that he didn’t know where to go so he just stood there, wondering about what Camden would tell him. He saw a bird come in from the window and right behind it was Camden. “Why did you steal my ore,” Jackson said.
“Chill man.” Camden said, walking towards him. “Before you get mad at me I made something, but you must earn it,” Camden said
“So how is this somehow soooo good that I have to take a test,” Jackson returned.
“Because,” Camden said. Camden led Jackson to an area with a bunch of swords.
“Here, take this. You see if you like it.” Camden gave Jackson a sword that was galaxy color.
“Christina, I have something for you.” Camden led Christina to a shooting range. “Here, try this.” Camden handed Christina a bow.
“Because why, and how will this help,” Jackson said. Christina shot an arrow and missed. She started shooting at the targets with her bow but for some reason she could not hit the one in the very back.
“Try the bow behind you,” Camden said. Christina looked behind her and saw a greenish black bow.
“What’s this made out of,” Christina asked.
“Shade ore and tree ore.” Without asking any more questions, Christina picked up the bow and started shooting. The very first shot she took hit the far target.
“Nice it’s just my style” Christina said as she hit the other targets. When Jackson moved on to the twentieth target she shot but the arrow bounced back. She immediately turned around because there might be something to help behind her, and she saw some black arrows.
“What are these?” Christina picked up one of the arrows.
“Night arrows. Goes great with the night bow.” Camden said
“Let me try it.” Christina said. Camden gave her the bow. She took a few shots.
“Anything you shoot at it won’t stop until it hits its target.” Camden said with pride.
“Nice, could I keep it?” Christina asked eagerly. “Please?”
“No, these are testing products.” Camden said, grabbing the sword and bow. But let me show one more thing.” Camden led them to another room. It had shields, armor, it had the ore that was in Jackson’s chest.
“Camden, what if I told you that we were under attack by mobs? Would that change your mind?” Jackson said.
“What do you mean?” Camden asked.
“I mean that an army of mobs are coming toward us.” Jackson said quickly.
“WHAT!” Camden grabbed a black sword and an arrow dynamic shield. Then we went to an armor chest. He put on a full suit of armor and handed Jackson one.
“What kind of armor do you want?“ Camden asked the two.
“What are the options?” Christina asked.
“Diamond, Dark Pearl, Netherite, Night with an N not a K, and that’s all I have for now.” Camden said.
“Dark Pearl.” Christina said.
“Jackson, what do you want?”
“Night Armor I guess.” Jackson said. He pulled a lever, one set of Night Armor, and Dark Pearl appeared. He flicked another lever and the greatest thing happened; two swords two blocks long appeared.
“I think you’re ready” Camden gave one to Christina and gave Jackson the other, and they ran back to the village. They got up and Stephen ran towards them.
“Camden! The mobs, they’re at the gates!” Stephen said, then they heard a sound coming from the gates. Jackson looked and saw zombies were at the gates.
“EVERYONE TO YOUR STATIONS!” Jackson said. Then the gates collapsed. The battle had started.

Chapter 4
This is Where the Fun Begins

Jackson got out his sword and Christina got out her bow and ran to the tower. Jackson went to his soldiers.
“You ready?” Jackson asked the soldiers. They nodded with a scared look. “Remember we just need to distract the mobs so the archers can fire without any return. Try to make the skeletons hit the zombies. We can do this.” Jackson said. The mobs were closing. “Let’s do this!” Jackson turned around and started running. “FOR MINECRAFT!” Jackson said.
“FOR MINECRAFT!” The villagers said together. He raised his sword in the air, and they ran toward the mobs. “We need to push them out of the village!” Jackson got his shield out and all the other villagers did too. The arrows and the hits of the zombies were deflected. Jackson imagined he was typing on his keyboard.

[JackoDraco9241] Christina, find out if there is any way we can defeat them.
[Christinus] Got it.

Jackson and the infantry pushed out the mobs. “Builders!” Jackson yelled. When they were out of the village the builders came and started rebuilding the gates. Connor, hooking up the Redstone to the gate so it still opens. “Now we fight.” Jackson said, getting his sword out. He sliced zombies and with one hit the zombies were dead. “Nice.” Jackson liked the sword. And arrows made a nice noise. A noise sadly that I can’t explain.

[Christinus] Jackson, there are spawners in the forest on the other side of the village. They are planning a surprise attack from behind.
[JackoDraco9241] got it, thanks!

Jackson swiped his sword and he kept fighting, more and more mobs were coming. Jackson got to the skeleton spawner. A skeleton showed up and shot him in the ankle.
“AHHHH!” Jackson yelled. He fell to the ground. He was in pain. He could hear everyone else’s pain. The cries of pain. He saw villagers turn to dust. He wanted revenge for all the lives that have fallen. He somehow now a part of the game he could feel everyone else’s pain. He remembered when he went to a stand up comedy. Brian Regan was there. He remembered what Brian said.
“Doctors always try to avoid using the word pain so they don’t scare the patients. So they replace it with pressure. Like ‘You’re gonna feel a little pressure’ Then that’s when the ‘pressure’ comes.” That made him laugh a little. He missed his home. Then he felt a burst of pain. An arrow pierced into his chest, and he felt more pain. He wishes he could control the server. Just blow these mobs up. But he couldn’t, he had to accept the fact that people’s lives would be lost. He got up. Put his shield up. It hurt but he kept going. He destroyed the spawner and he kept going. He held his shield up. Arrows kept hitting it. It was like he was the reason this battle started. He was limping to the final three spawners. He could feel his leg bleeding, then he thought. Is there blood in Minecraft? Jackson didn’t have time to think he had spawners to destroy. He killed a zombie and headed to the creeper spawner. When he got there the zombie was there too. Two zombies spawned, he dodged and hit, and killed the zombies. He then destroyed the spawner. He almost couldn’t walk, and he felt like he would faint any second. He then almost got hit by an arrow from a skeleton. Then when a spider came out from its den it was killed by an arrow. Jackson went for the spawner. He saw that night was coming. He kept going and almost fell in a hole a creeper made. When he got back up he got to the creeper spawner and started to break it, but a creeper spawned ssssssss! He backed away. But then it exploded. Jackson flew in the air. He hit the ground with a thump! There Jackson was laying on the ground, barely conscious. He had to get back up. He always did. No matter what. He tried. But he couldn’t. He saw a skeleton coming towards him. It saw him and readied his arrow. He didn’t want to die. The skeleton aimed and fired. But a sword flew through the air. The arrow hit the sword and fell. The sword landed about four blocks away from him.He could see villagers surrounding him. He heard Christina’s voice, he saw her run past him and destroyed the spawner. That’s when it all went black. He could hear an eerie sound. He could feel more pain. When he woke up in the hospital, he could barely see. He could hear someone talking.
“I am staying until he wakes up!” He heard. He was pretty sure that was Christina’s voice. Then he heard a villager’s voice.
“But miss, he needs peace and quiet.” The villager said. Jackson tried to speak, but failed, all he could make out was a kind of noise.
“Uhhhhh.” Jackson said. Christina and the doctor came to him.
“Jackson, you’re okay, you’re in the hospital.” Christina said slowly. Jackson barely moved. He couldn’t move his leg, or his two arms. He tried to talk, but couldn’t. But then Christina gave Jackson a potion of instant health. Realizing that Jackson couldn’t grab it, Christina opened it and poured it in his mouth. He gulped it and felt way better.
“Thanks,” Jackson said barely. He then heard them talking and then it went black again. He could remember Jonah, he then realized that he too, might have been sucked into the game too. He could remember the laughs they had and all the fun. Winning the Annual Bedwars tournament, Jackson missed it all, he felt bad for yelling at him. Jonah did help him win; Jonah did find out about the tournament. But then he saw something, a person, Jonah. He had white eyes, and two swords. Jackson could see how different he was. No, no, it can’t be! Jackson wanted this nightmare to end. Then he saw another person, Christina! She had white eyes and she had a bow, it looked way different than a regular bow, it was the bow that Camden gave Christina! This can’t be happening! He then saw Camden! He had white eyes, and two pickaxes. Then a person in a cloak was in the middle. He looked closer, then the person showed their face. ME?! He saw him with white eyes and the sword and shield that Camden gave him! Jackson couldn’t believe it! Was this a sign? Then he saw a person with a blue shirt, purple pants, and white eyes. Herobrine! Jackson woke up. He looked around; he was still in the room. But it was night. He could hear zombies near the walls.
“It was just a nightmare, no way that would happen.” Jackson said with uncertainty. He looked at the clock, it was sunrise. He looked around again. He wanted to get out of here, but his ankle still hurt. He sat up. He saw a string and pulled it. It made a Ding sound. A few minutes later a villager came into the room.
“Hello there Jackson.” The villager said in an Australian accent.
“What’s with the accent?” Jackson asked.
“Oh, it’s my disability.” The villager said. “As in your way, I have a glitch in my coding.”
“Oh, well I kind of like it.” Jackson said.
“Thanks, oh and you have a visitor.” Dimitri walked in.
“Oh, hi, Dimitri is it?” Jackson asked.
“Yes, and I have some bad news.” Dimitri said sadly.
“What is it?” Jackson was scared of what Dimitri might say.
“It’s Camden, we can’t find him.” Jackson almost fell out of his bed.
“That can’t be true, I was with him an hour ago.”
“Oh, well you might not have noticed, but you’ve been asleep for two days.”
“TWO DAYS.” This time Jackson did fall out of his bed. How long have I been sleeping!? “When did you last see him?” Jackson wanted to know as soon as possible.
“Two days ago, in the battle. He saved my life sir.” Dimitri said. He got out of bed. But his ankle still hurts.
“I suggest that you drink one of these a day.” The doctor said, giving him five potions of healing.
“Thanks,” Jackson said. He drank it. He felt better, “Now, where do you think he could be?”
“I don’t know,” Dimitri said.
“May I suggest something?” The doctor asked.
“Yes, go ahead.” Jackson said.
“His cave, he now spends his days down there.” The doctor said, but then everything started to glitch. His head started hurting.
“Ahhh!” Jackson said, falling to the ground. He felt like his head was going to explode. Ahhh, please let it stop! He could hear voices, voices he had heard before, “AHH!” Jackson couldn’t take it. It hurt like heck. Jackson looked up; it had stopped. He saw his room’s ceiling. He looked around. He was in his room. He was back on Earth!
“Yes! I knew that was a dream.” Jackson said, getting up. He hit his head on the ceiling. “Ow.” Jackson rubbed his head. Then everything glitched again. Part of Minecraft was in his room. “What?” It kept glitched. His head started hurting again. Then he started hearing voices in his head again.
“I JUST DON’T WANT TO BE HOMELESS!” Jonah said.
“It’s Camden, we can’t find him.” Dimitri said.
“BUT I’M BETTER AT MINECRAFT!” Jackson said.
“AHHHHHHHH!” Jackson said. Jackson kept hitting himself.
“I AM THE KING OF MINECRAFT!” Herobrine said.
“I WILL GIVE YOU A TASTE OF YOUR OWN MEDICINE.” Herobrine said.
“Sir, we’re ready to upload.” Someone said,
“Activate the Wild Update.” Someone else said. Jackson could see someone typing. It looked like a coder. He saw lines of code, then the person pressed enter. Then that’s when the pain began. Jackson was screaming.
“Make it STOP! AHHHHH!” Jackson said. “AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” Then it was all white. It was so bright he felt like he would be blind. He woke up. He was in bed. He could barely move. The pain he had felt. It kept coming back like a soundwave. “Uhhhhh,” Jackson said.
“Here, drink this.” Christina said, giving Jackson a potion of instant healing. Jackson took it and drank it. He took a deep breath.
“Thanks,” Jackson said. Jackson saw villagers outside the door. “Why are they here?” Jackson asked.
“Well, um, you might not have noticed but you were a monster last night.” Christina said, putting her hand on her sword handle.
“What?” Jackson said getting up. He saw the villagers grab the door handle. “What do you mean?” Jackson was curious.
“Well last night you acted like a monster you were out of your bed. Making a huge mess. I was the first one in. I had villagers behind me. Including Camden, Stephen, and Dimitri. I didn’t want to hurt you, so I splashed a potion of weakness on you. You fell down and said something about someone named Jonah and you said something about Camden, something about a Bedwars tournament. What was that about?” Christina asked. Jackson took a deep breath.
“My friends Jonah and Camden were at my house playing the Annual Bedwars Tournament. We won, but we had a HUGE fight about who would get it. Camden somewhat disappeared, and Jonah disappeared too. It’s been about a month. Then I saw him online and I tried to join him but then the whole thing glitched and Herobrine was there and then I was here.” Jackson said.
“Well, c’mon everyones dying to see you
“Commander on deck!” Dimitri said. The villagers there saluted.
“Sir!” Dimitri said.
“At ease.” Jackson said.
“It’s good to have you back sir.” Dimitri asked.
“Yes, thank you for asking.”
“And there is a new copper ore. It is mineable from a stone to Netherite.”
“We’ll get right to it.” Jackson and Christina went back up and went around the village. Everyone was glad Jackson was better. He saw everyone rebuilding the defenses. Jackson sat down. And looked in his journal. Then he saw it.

“I got it!” Jackson said. He stood up and ran to the well.

Chapter 5
Village Road Trip!

“Everyone, gather around!” Jackson said. On top of the well. “Everyone! Please.” Everyone stopped what they were doing and gathered around. “Guys, I know the last battle we experienced a lot of losses. We are still in pain. But we have to move on. I am now a part of Minecraft. I feel everyone’s pain. As a user I loved to grief. I would kill villagers for no reason. Kill the iron golem for Iron. But I regret all of that.” Jackson said.
“Me too.” Christina said. “I liked to grief too. I would have never done it if I knew that you weren’t just AI you felt all of it, and you are not AI you are villagers, people, living beings. Me, Jackson, Conner, we’ve all felt that same pain. I lost my brother, Noah.” Christina had a tear running down her cheek.
“I lost my sister, Iris. It means rainbow, symbolizing luck. Luck didn’t help her that time.” Conner said.
“And I-” Jackson had a tear running down his cheek. “I lost my Dad. We would play Minecraft together. We’d do everything together, and he died saving my life.” Jackson started sniffing (not like a dog, the sad type) “But that doesn’t mean we give up. It was the first battle. More losses will happen in the future. I know it’s hard. But we have to move on. What would our lost friends and family want us to do? They would want us to save Minecraft!”
“Yeah!” Some villagers said.
“They would never accept defeat. They would want us to defeat Herobrine. They didn’t die for nothing. They died to save us. They sacrificed themselves so we can have a chance to save Minecraft!”
“Yeah!” All the villagers said.
“I realized that we weren’t strong enough with just one village. We are stronger together! So I have a plan. On my way here I passed an extreme hills biome. I’m thinking every single villager, in every single village, will come to the extreme hills biome. We would build a huge village. The biggest Herbrine has ever seen. Herobrine will regret messing with us.
