chapter 3: Blue!
Gameknight jumped down the cliff, landing in the water bank under it. As he fall, he saw a few megapiranhas are swimming towards him. He swiftly head for the nearest sanctuary, which is land.
He sprinted toward the nearby forest, picking up fibers and berries as he sprinted near bushes, but what he was looking for are narcoberries. Lots of em’. He wanted to tame something. Something that he is so obsessed in after watching the well-known dinosaur movie during May, 2015. Even though it is not the variant of that species in the movie, but it belongs to the same family.
As he slowly progressed through the jungle, he finally saw it. A Raptor! He sneaked near it, as he neared it, he is amazed by its beauty. It is blue in color. Level 61. The beast is as blue as Crafter big blue eyes,but the underside of the raptor is the light blue that matches the color of diamond from minecraft.
He brings out his slingshot, he carefully aim at the raptor and finally releasing it.
It’s as if everything happened at slow motion to Gameknight. The stone slowly travel through the air, hitting a grass in its way. But it didn’t slow it down nor make the straight line formed by the stone bent. Instead, it keeps on going. Hitting the raptor in the forehead.
It fainted instantly. As Gameknight go near it and give it some prime meat that took him ages to get and right before it spoiled, the raptor ate it. The taming bar visible to Gameknight is already half taken over by the brown color that is supposed to fill up the bar.
As Gameknight waited, he gives it some more meat and a few narcoberries to keep it unconscious and built a make-shift taming pen to prevent the sabertooth he saw wandering around the distant hillside.
A few hours passed, but it feels like an eternity to Gameknight. The raptor finally woke up and walk near its new owner for hugs and kisses. As Gameknight pet it, he named the raptor the famous name dedicated to Jurassic World and it’s colour.
“I’ll name you Blue.” He said to the raptor while putting a saddle on it. “Blue, I have a task for you. Take me home.”
As he hopped onto Blue with the way he hopped onto horses, Blue started sprinting. Towards the gorgeous mansion Monet designed and built by the villagers.
When he finally arrived, the sun just popped out of the horizon, but a lot of villagers are awake. Preparing for adventures waiting for them. When they see Gameknight, smiles appeared on their faces, filling them with hope. Except for one girl, the girl’s name is Hunter, who scowled.
“Where did you went this morning?” She shouted at Gameknight, when he hops down Blue. Sensing tension filling the atmosphere, it growled at Hunter, which got scared by it and took a few steps behind.
“Getting this bad boy.” Gameknight answered while leaning on Blue, its strong feet and muscles supporting Gameknight weight. “His name is Blue.”
Hunter can’t seem to find a word to say, so she left Gameknight alone. Herder, on the other hand, rushed towards Gameknight and bump into his belly.
“What’s it Herder?” Gameknight asked. “You need help?”
“Is this a T-rex?” The two-color-eyed lanky boy asked a question that makes Gameknight wants to laugh.
“No, it’s a raptor.”
“Ooooooooh, a raptor.”
“A T-rex is bigger than this. Looks much more scarier and it is unbelievably stronger.”
“End of it, Tommy. End of it. I don’t want to listen to you explaining to Herder anymore.” Monet said to Gameknight as she walked past them.
After a long silence, Gameknight finally said something. “Let me go take a nap.”
