The Quest

Chapter 1:
The Quest begins…
Steve doesn’t like Creepers. He never has. But, nevertheless, here he
was, surrounded by them. How did it get to this?… Sorry, I’d better start at
the beginning.

Steve lived in a village on a plain right next to a taga biome.he lived in one
of the biggest houses, next to a farm, his nextdoor
neighbor was named
Farmer Brown, he was always helping Steve to harvest the crops and
plant them again! (Steve had a very good life!)
This is the village that he lives in.
Some of Steve’s best friends were Smelter, the blacksmith, Shelver, the
librarian, Cutter, the butcher, and Bob. (he’s kinda just THERE.)
Smelter and Steve had made 5 Iron Golems,(Rok, Ingot, Ore, Vine, and
Pump.)Anyway, the story begins in Shelver’s library. Steve LOVED to
read. Shelver has all kinds of books. He has history books, adventure
books, comic books, handwritten
books and just about all others! So,
Steve was looking through the library, and in the history section he found
a book titled,’The Legend Of The Dragon’s Egg’ so, Steve sat down and
started to read it.

Later when Shelver came by, Steve asked, “Hey, do you know if this book
is supposed to be in the history section?”
“Well, nobody has ever come back from the End, so nobody knows!”
Shelver answered. “Of course, YOU could go out and get it.”
“Well,”Steve said, “You know me! I Don’t like leaving the village! and I
don’t even have armour or tools!”
“Well, I can take care of that!” This came from Smelter, who just walked in,
(It was a monday, and every monday, Smelter got a smithing book.)
“I’ll make you some iron armor and tools for free!” he said…

“Well,here’s the bow and arrow you asked for!” Smelter said.
“Nice! But, won’t I need more than 1 arrow?” Steve asked
“Normally,yes, but I was able to get ahold of an infinity bow!”
“Thanks! That’ll be SUPER awesome!”Steve said,”Now,let’s go pack!”

Steve walked out his door and sighed,”Man, I’m gonna miss this place.
But I’ve set it to my spawn point! so I should good!”
“Hey Steve! I have something for you!” Planter shouted”I bought this at a
mod convention!” he said as he tossed Steve a large backpack
“Hey, thanks!”Steve said, “This should keep my inventory fairly empty!
Well… BYE GUYS! I WON’T COME BACK WITHOUT THE EGG (unless I
die!)” Then, as Steve was walking out, he said to Rok,”Take care of my
friends!” and so the adventure begins…
Chapter 2:
Meet Invent.
Steve,being the absentminded
user that he is, forgot his crafting table.
AND he had forgotten to check for wood before going into that desert.
“Well,” Steve said, “That was a total fail…ooh! let’s make mark of those!”
He said as he took out a feather, and ink sac, and a book, and used his
minisized
portable crafting table (Only a 4X4) to make, “A book and quill!
now, ‘fails:I’ there!” Steve said, “Now do I have a sapling and dirt?
NOOOOO! I just have a sapling! and how do i not have dirt?!?! That’s not”
Then Steve heard a noise that all users know, a, “sSssSS” noise!
Luckily Steve had quite good reflexes, so he jumped back just in time!
“Wow, I need to be more careful! the sun is already setting!”Steve said,
“Anyway,I need to make a… what was that?” Then he heard the soft,
“squeak!” sound again. “Oh, it’s just a bat! that’s good!”Steve said,
“But…THAT’S NOT!!!” he said as he turned to see about fifteen zombies,
endermen and skeletons EACH! “SOMEONE! HELP!” Steve yelled, but he
know deep down that he was all alone. “We have found you. Now you
will be unable to stop our master!” The zombies said. And Steve
could hear them,“Oh YEAH? I will not let you defeat me!” Steve yelled “oh,
I think not, Steve.” One of the Endermen said “You will never stop
ENDOS, THE ONE TRUE ENDERKING!” He said, ”OW! who dares to attack
me? Whoever it was, they shall pay…” and then,with one last glare,
he was gone!
“Whowho’s
there?” Steve asked
“Just a fellow user.” someone said
“Where are you? Under me?” he said looking around.
“No, I’m right by you!”
“Are you invisible? All that’s near me (And alive) is a little bat.”
“YES! That’s me! I’m not really a bat, though I WAS a user, like you,
but when a Greafer attacked my secret lab, I was forced to use my
untested ReConfigurer, which I had set to a bat, and I had to escape
them, but I lost access to my lab, so… I stuck as a but, for now any way.”
“Wow. well, I’m Steve,and I don’t suppose you’d be willing to join me on
my Quest? I’m gonna go to The End to take the Ender Dragon’s egg back
to my home village!” he said
“Well let me think… DUH!!! Of course i’m coming! I can help you!
The monsters won’t think that I’m a threat, and I still have the strength of a
user! Oh, also, my name is Invent!” he said. And so the Users quickly
became friends.. Little did they realize that somewhere underground a
2block
tall, userlike
figure was scheming, but this was no user…
Chapter 3:
Oops…
“Wow… I can’t quite believe that that desert was so small!” Invent said.
“Woah, wait, that was a SMALL desert?!?” Steve asked the little bat.
“Uh… yeah. I thought you said you were prepared!” Invent said.
“Yeah, but…”Steve’s words trailed off.
“What? Is someone there?” Invent asked
“Don’t look, but yes…RUN!!” Steve yelled and ran
“What? Why?” Invent asked and started flying by Steve’s head
“He’s here! Endos is here!” Steve yelled, then promptly fell in a ravene.
“Help me!!!”he shouted to Invent
“Oh, I’ll help you alright… as soon as I find you…” Endos said.
and… THUD! “ow.” Steve whispered, and then crouched, remembering
when once he saw zombies and creepers pass him by while he was
crouching. “Invent. can you crouch?” he whispered
“No, but I don’t have a username above me, so, I’m good”
“Hey! I think I can see some wood over there!”
“Then let’s go!”
Chapter 4:
Eye see you!
The cave then promptly exploded, and all Nether broke loose.
37 Zombies,19 Skeletons, 12 Creepers, 20 Endermen, 35 Spiders, and 1
very angry EnderKing came out of the wall. Being the brave and fearless
heroes they were, they “faced” the monsters.
“RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Steve yelled, and they did just that.
20 minutes Steve and Invent were in an underground reservoir crouching
on (and flying over!) a cobblestone block, with torches around them.
“Water is a goodesh
weapon against Monsters,” Steve whispered, “The
torches will make the Spiders calm down, the arrows of a Skeleton won’t
work a well in the water, the explosion of a creeper is ineffective in water
(Except for the movement.) and Endermen are allergic to water.”
“Well, that’s good,but I know something even better!” Invent
whisperyelled,
“7 Eyes of Ender!”
“Where did you get those?” Steve asked
“Simple! Endermen keep Eyes of Ender to get home, so I nabbed as many
as I could!”
“You little thief!”Steve said.
“Well, anyway, let’s stay out of ambushes from now on.” Invent said
Chapter 5:
That’s a messed up.
There was a glowstone pillar right in front of where Steve and Invent came
to the surface.They had stumbled across a loot chest in the mineshaft,and
there was a clock inside. they also harvested the rails and minecarts, and
when Morning arrived, they went to the surface.

“What is the purpose of this pillar?” Steve said
“Well, glowstone produces light, so it could be for a light.” Invent said, “Or
as a marker for this corrupted area.” This was true. the world had become
huge pillars all around.
“Well, can you fly me over?” Steve asked Invent
“I’m a bat. Bats don’t have that many muscles that they can use to carry
mobs.” Invent said
“We have minecarts & rails, so… “ Steve said, “Can you think of
something?”
“Well, let me think…” Invent said…

20 minutes later, Steve was going through a minecart track with Invent
placing it. Pretty soon, they had passed the corruption zone. But what they
didn’t see is a figure with a stick in his hands making another glowstone
pillar…
Chapter 6:
We need to deeper!
“Steve! Come over here! I found diamonds!” Invent yelled, “Get your iron
pick out!”
“AWESOME!” Steve said, “Let’s do this!” Steve and Invent had headed
underground, under Invent’s direction. They had been looking for
diamonds to mine obsidian. Invent wouldn’t tell Steve what he had
planned. Soon Steve had a Diamond pick, and 4 diamonds left over, (He
gave those to Invent) Invent then crafted another Diamond pick.
“What?” Steve said, “I thought you couldn’t craft! How did you do that?”
“I donno. Something just… got triggered.” Invent said
“How many obsidian do we need?” Steve said
“10, at least.” The bat said
“Ooh… I think I know…” Steve said, “We need flint & steel, right?”
“Yes, we do. we might also need some Special golden apples.”
“They can protect us from blazes. we need 8 gold blocks.”
“That’s about… 27 golden ingots, right?” Steve asked.
“Yep.” Invent said as they started mining the obsidian, but little did they
know, someone had set a trap…
Chapter 7:
At the stronghold…
Far, far away, In an underground stronghold, a dark figure was waiting.
“Those fools. They dare to not show up? they will pay…” they said.
Then, a group of spider jockeys crawled in from a hole in the wall.
“Sorry sir. We did find The EnderKing, and he forced us to help him fight this
player and a bat.” They said
“Well… Looks like we have some competition…” Said the figure.
“ Well, nonetheless… meet me up above.”
“Um… sire? we can’t survive the daylight, and there are no trees above us.” One
of the Spider jockeys said.
“Well, get a pumpkin or put something over your head, but I
want you On the surface NOW!” He said, and disappeared…
“Well? what are you waiting for? Put on your Pumpkins…NOW!” said the lead
jockey.
Soon they were at the surface. they scuttled up to the figure
“You’re late.” he said “Now, report, Have you set the trap?”
“Y-yes Sire. They will never suspect a thing.” said the lead jockey.
“Good… I don’t want to seem like a rude host when they enter
my home… The Nether…” he said. and disappeared…
Chapter 8:
Is it hot in here, or is
that just me?
“Well, now we have 10 obsidian, and a flint and steel, can you set it up,
Invent?” Steve asked
“I need the obsidian, and about 30 seconds.” He said
31 seconds later, the Nether Portal was complete and lit.
“I hope We don’t come out on a platform.” Steve said
“We probably won’t” Invent replied and they walked through…
On the other side of the portal…
“DARN DARN DARNY DARN!” Steve said
They had come out on a tiny piller.
“Well, we have cobblestone!” Invent said
“We can make a bridge!!!” Steve replied
“Let’s do this.”
23 minutes later, they had a bridge that went all the way to the mainlands.
Soon they were in range to hear the Zombie Pigmen murmuring,
“A user… 2 of them. That bat smells like one. It must be one. If they attack…
They will both die.”
“Okey, Be careful, Invent, these Zombie Pigmen are n ot h appy. If we hit
one, then They’ll go nuts…” Steve said
“They never are. They aren’t alive OR dead.” Invent stated Matteroffactly
“Any way… We need blazes. they drop blaze rods, which we can make
into blaze powder, which we can use to make Eyes of Ender from Ender
pearls.” Said Steve
“Well, There’s a Nether fort about 32 blocks away, but there are Wither
skeletons guarding in. And we can’t turn invisible.”
“Who says?” Steve said holding up a bottle filled with a foggy,Shiny gray
liquid.
“YOU ARE A GENUS!” Invent yelled.
“What was that?” Said a Wither skeleton in a chattering voice
“Aha! There you are…” They said
“Oops…” Invent said
“RUNN!!!!!!!!” Steve yelled and they did just that
Chapter 9:
The Chase
