Minecraft Rescue

By Darien

I was walking on my lawn. It was a foggy day at noon
when I saw my ocelot, Fluffy. But there was something
running in the distance. It was a creeper running away
from Fluffy. I shot it with my bow and arrow. “Long shot,” I
yelled.
Out of nowhere, a griefer came and took Fluffy. I tried
to shoot him, but missed. “No!” I yelled.
I saw my friend James walking towards me and I ran
towards him. “Fluffy has been stolen,” I screamed.
“I have some bad news,” said James. “The king of
Creepers, Gorgan, has hired griefers to take all ocelots.”
“But I must save Fluffy!”
“But you can’t. You are just a farmer.”
“No I’m not,” I yelled in anger. “I can be a hero. I’m
going to save Fluffy, you can come with me if you want. If
you don’t, I have a friend who will help me.”
Catalina will help me. She is a brave young treasure
hunter with brown eyes, brown hair, and also a very skilled
swordsman. I know, I’ll go to the abandoned mine shaft in
the cave 2 miles away because she lives 9 miles away. I
can get to Catalina’s house way faster that way. Hopefully
her ocelot, Paige, is still there.
About two minutes later, I was at the cave. I saw a
cave spider and the only weapon I own is my bow and
arrow. I slowly walked towards the cave spider. My
stomach was feeling sick. I was a little bit scared, because
I have never faced hostile mobs.
Thwack! I hit it right in the head. When I killed the
cave spider it dropped some string. I walked in the cave.
Diamonds, diamonds everywhere! I felt so excited! I
pulled out my pick axe quickly and started to mine. 800
diamonds I got in the mine cart! It went so fast that I
thought I was going to melt!
Swoosh! Screech! The mine cart stopped at the end
of the cave. First, before I get my friend Catalina, I’m going
to get my weapons and armor so I can defend myself
against hostile mobs. I ran towards the village as fast as I
could. I burst through the Blacksmith’s shop. “Hey Eric,” I
yelled. “Give me everything you got! I have the diamonds
to pay for.”
As I walked out of the shop, it slowly turned to
nightfall over the village. I lit a torch and it guided the way
to my friend. With my new weapons and armor, I felt
confident that I would win against the mobs. I ran as fast
as I could to get to Catalina’s house. I was running so long
I forgot it was nighttime and dangerous. I decided I should
put on my armor.
I pulled out my iron sword, and I saw a zombie in the
distance trying to attack a villager. I ran as fast as I could
to help the screaming villager. I felt so far away as I ran. I
hear another cry for help, and I knew I was getting closer. I
hit the zombie two times before it finally died. The villager
thanked me by giving me one iron ingot. I was close to my
friend’s house, so I decided I could slow down the pace.
When I finally got there, Catalina was not there, and
neither was her house. Only a few burning bricks
remained. “I guess I have to do this on my own,” I said out
loud.
I saw a horse where a stable used to be. I grabbed a
saddle out of my inventory and put it on the horse. I tamed
the horse with a carrot and I jumped on it.
“Go!” I yelled at the horse I named Bot. We ran to the
desert temple were the creepers were hiding. I pulled out
my diamond sword and swung it at the guards.
Sssssssssssss, BOOM! They blew up and made a giant
hole in the ground, which most of the creepers fell in. I
saw a hole. I saw all the ocelots in the hole. I jumped in
and grabbed all of them because there weren’t that many
in the hole. I felt good inside like a hero I thought proudly.
Now the journey home. King Gorgen of the Creepers
got away and he’s lucky. Until next time, King Gorgen!
