The Enchanted Overtake

Chapter 1

One day Maylana was walking through her diamond palace and then noticed that one of her mirrors were crooked! She went over to fix it but then got distracted looking into it at her beautiful brown wavy hair and her shining diamond blue eyes.

“Uggg… why am I always doing this… I’m always having to make sure everything is perfect, and I can’t concentrate on anything else!”

How am I going to conquer this flaw? Maylana thought to herself silently. But right in the middle of her thoughts Maylana heard a loud creeek, and a screeech, and then the one thing she had been fearing, dingalingalingalingaling. That is the sound of the bank alarm after being

ROBBED!

“I’d better get going.” Maylana whispered to herself, “Just to make sure everything is ok.”

The only thing is that as she was grabbing her coat to leave, she noticed that there was a scratch on her door, and the paint was starting to peel!

“NOW WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!” Yelled Maylana.

About a second later a shadow of a cloud came over the house, and then all the windows dimmed to a light gleam in the house.

Over on Xavier’s side, his day w as bright with pandemonium. He had just got done with robbing the bank, and just about to go home to hang out with his best pet dragon ever!

Xavier jumped on his hovercraft and zoomed away, just one second before the police arrived.

“Perfect!, just like usual.” Yelled Xavier as he zoomed off and over to his castle. “Time to go home and put the finishing touches on my master plan that takes place tonight at… The Enchanted Diamond Palace! Where the person who can’t concentrate on anything but perfection’s house is at. As soon as he got home he sat down to put the finishing touches on his master plan.

CHAPTER 2

Maylana finally got done fixing up her door after one full hour then went out the door to head to the bank when just then… she stopped for no reason.

“I just realised this but what if the bad guy wasn’t caught and, and, and he’s still out there and, and, and what if there’s nothing I can do about it! “Great, now I have two problems that I need to figure out how to conquer.”

Xavier had just got done putting the finishing touches on his master plan, and then he started laughing his evil laugh. “Muah ha ha ha ha, Muah ha ha ha ha. I finally finished my master plan that takes place in just one whole hour!” X avier yelled, but it came out in a high pitched screeech.

Xavier packed up h is stuff, told his pet dragon Griffin “be good,” and left.

CHAPTER 3

“I need to figure this out. I think I need to just get out of the house for awhile.” Maylana whispered to herself depressed.

Just then there was a knock on her door, Maylana hurried over to open it but then she thought… who would be knocking on my door at this time of day? Oh well she thought, I’ll open it anyway.

Maylana slowly opened the door and saw… a man standing there.

“Hello,” Maylana said cheerfully. “What’s your name?”

“I’m Xavier,” Xavier replied. I’m an inspector that was sent here by um, the city council um, to inspect your house.

“OOOK,” Maylana replied in confusion. “Where would you like to start?”

“Oh, um your room I guess?” Xavier replied also confused.

So Xavier and Maylana started upstairs to Maylana’s room to start the “inspection.”

CHAPTER 4

“Go ahead and start the inspection, I’m just going to go downstairs to do a few things… ok?”

“Um, alright I’ll keep working, see you in a little bit.”

About one minute after Maylana left Xavier ran to the closet table in Maylana’s room. (The reason he picked to go to Maylana’s room first is because he thought it would be the most enchanted and powerful room in the palace.)

He pulled out his case of tools and started to set up his power keeper.

“This is going to work out just as planned!”

“What’s going to work out just as p lanned?” Maylana said curiously walking into the room w ith a plateful of cookies.

“Um, um, um. Nothing?” Xavier replied scared that he had just been caught.

“Tell me what’s going on or get out of my palace!” Maylana yelled now furious.

But just then Xavier ran out of Maylana’s room and tried to find the closest hiding place, but there weren’t any near by and Maylana was close on his tail.

“Get back here you crazy rat!” Maylana  yelled about to go crazy herself.

“You’ll never catch me, you’re just  a dumb person who can’t concentrate on anything but          perfection, and now it’s my turn to win this game!”

“How dare you insult me! Plus I’m just starting to overcome that, and how would you know that unless you’ve been  spying on me?”

Chapter 5

Xavier kept on running until he finally outran Maylana, but then he got lost.

On the other hand Maylana knew exactly where Xavier would have gone. Well she didn’t know exactly w here he went, but she knew that he didn’t know his way around the palace as much as she did, so she was guaranteed that by now he would be lost and he would show up sometime soon. So with that Maylana sat down and waited, but when she sat down she saw that when Xavier was running he put a dent in her wall to distract her. The only thing is that instead of getting up as fast as she could to fix it she just sat there and told herself, I’ll fix it later. As Xavier was running he heard Maylana talking to herself in the room where he put a dent in her wall, and he thought that she was so worked up about it he could just sneak by. So Xavier slowly snuck into the room where Maylana was and then saw that Maylana was j ust sitting in a chair but hadn’t seen him yet.

Maylana was sitting in her chair when she heard the door of the room she was in open and knew right away it was Xavier. She decided that she’d play a little trick on him and act like she didn’t see or hear him, and let him walk by her. As soon as he would walk by she would start following him then play his own game on him. So Xavier slowly walked by Maylana now thinking that she was sleeping a nd slipped in front of her, but as soon as Xavier slipped by the plan was in action and Maylana slowly and cautiously got up and started to follow. Xavier was just about to slip out of the other door that leads to another room, but got stopped because something was holding him b ack but then also realised that his hands were getting tied together. Xavier couldn’t stand for much longer then suddenly fell and blacked out instantly which gave Maylana  just enough time to call

the police and get that psychopath out of her house and to the city jail!

Chapter 6

Maylana was at the city jail when a police           came out of a counseling room and told Maylana to come in  to talk about what happened. Maylana slowly got up and h eaded into the room. She started to tell the story of what had happened but that’s another story for me to tell. Ever since that day Maylana thought to herself and knew…          she was the hero of this tale.
