How I Became an Author

This talk takes people through my journey to becoming an author. You’d think after writing for over 6 years and 4 failed novels, I’d give up . . . but I didn’t. Students will learn about all of these failures, but more importantly, they’ll hear what I learned from each of the failures, each painful lesson giving me more tools in my writing utility belt. Students will also learn of the terrible cyberbullying event that befell my son, the horrible experience movitivating me to write one more novel, this one finally seeing success.

This is a Growth Mindset talk with a side of anti-bullying to round out the menu. Time is alway left for the many questions kids have about me and my 24 Minecraft novels.
