Slash Bloodclaw, Chapter 4

It was all just a dream. Sam-i-am797 thought and groaned. He moved over on his couch to get to a comfortable position. He heard a noise coming from a few feet away. Must be the TV. I better turn it off or Mom will get mad at me when she gets home. Sam-i-am797 thought.
Sam-i-am797’s eyes fluttered open. “Wait. WHAT?!?!”
Sam wasn’t on a couch! He was laying on a grass block. His eyes absorbed the environment around him. He was in a jungle, but wait. He recognized this place. This looked almost like…
“MY SURVIVAL WORLD?!?” Sam yelled at pixel sheep nearby him. Sam looked around for a button to click to hit the sheep, but there was none.
“How is this HAPPENING! Am I dreaming?” Sam yelled for all of Minecraft to hear. “And how do I punch!”
Out of habit he swung his arm forward to punch something soft, like the grass block he was sleeping on, and he actually broke it.
“Oh.” Sam said, his voice sounding small as he took in the world around him. Sam glanced around to see who had seen him throwing a fit in this new world. He noticed a sheep staring at him.
“What are you looking at, huh?” Sam said to the sheep, taking what should have been a threatening step towards the sheep that ended in Sam just falling over awkwardly.
The sheep just blinked at him and then went back to munching on grass. Suddenly, Sam got a splitting headache and groaned. He suddenly became very aware of the fact that he remembered nothing about what he had done yesterday, or the day before that, or ever. The only thing he knew was he was doomed. But to what? Wait . . . why was he surprised he was here? This was home, right? Then how had he just got here?
I just spawned here, in a game that I like. What could go wrong? Sam questioned doubtingly, his brain still a little frazzled. Well, it doesn’t matter. I only got to get to a safe place for the night.
So Sam started doing the only thing he could do at the moment, which was break trees and make himself a place to stay.
A while later his house was completed, right as the sun began to go down. He hopped into his house. He heard mobs spawning outside his roof-less home and groaned. Right as he remembered that he forgot to make torches, a skeleton spawned right next to him.
“AAAAH!” Sam yelled and ran out of his house.
Sam ran past mobs for a while, running so far that soon he had no idea where he was. His health and food bars got progressively lower from zombies hitting him and sprinting. Soon he was at a mere half heart and his food bar was gone. Sam collapsed, unable to move, he was so hungry. He heard the clicking of a skeleton and thought, Well, this is the end. One hit and I’m dead. and closed his eyes, not wanting to watch himself die, but oddly, after a few minutes, he was still there. His eyes slowly peeked open and Sam collapsed with relief. Daylight had come, burning the mobs along with it. Sam picked up some disgusting zombie remains hovering near him and ate it. Thankfully, it didn’t poison him this time. Sam got enough strength from it to stand up and started to move around slowly and destroy a few pigs and eat their meat, getting stronger each time until he was able to run around. Sam stopped, looking around him for the first time since the sun came up.
He was surrounded by a beautiful jungle. He began to run around and explore, looking at the waterfalls in the distance and the bees hovering over the flowers. He looked around and saw their beehive, but the beehive was next to an expansive garden full of wheat and beetroot.
“What the… He said. “These don’t spawn naturally in the world generation.” Sam walked around the garden and, not wanting to disturb anything, tried not to step on the crops. This means that I might not be alone in this world. He thought. As he walked around the garden he noticed a cobblestone path. His heart started pounding harder as he debated with himself. If I go, I might be in danger. But this could lead to me finding something important, like a friend to help me, or chests full of ores and food to munch on. He finally decided that, whatever it was down that path, he was going to go after it, and if he got hurt or killed, then maybe he would get to go home, see his family, whoever that was. He got that splitting headache that he had gotten yesterday when he tried to think about his other life. It was like a steel door surrounding his brain in that area of thought. All he needed to do was find the key! Maybe it was possible to remember his old life. Sam started walking. I need to find the key, I need to find the key, I need to find the key, I need to find the key! Sam rounded a bend.  I wish I was not so DUMB! I really need to find something. Work, brain! Sam gasped. There, in a tree at the end of the path he was walking on, was a treehouse.
