One day we were at gymnastics and a new girl was there. I was talking to Brooklyn and Maddie and I said, “Wow she is good.”
Brooklyn has brown hair and up in a high bun and a pink Leotard. Maddie has brown hair up in a ponytail and a blue leotard. Me Bailey also had brown hair up in a high bun and a purple leotard. When I was done saying that,she randomly came over to where we were and said, “Hi my name is Zoe.”
She had a green leotard and had brown hair in a braid. Before she could say anything else we had left.
The next day at school she was in our class and the teacher asked if I could show Zoe around the school.
When we got out of the room she started talking about gymnastics the whole time. I’m like “Cool.”
I was annoyed. Then finally we were done with school,and it was time to go home.
When I got home I had a ton of homework and then I went to gymnastics. When I got home I asked my mom if Brooklyn and Maddie could come over and she said yes.
When Brooklyn and Maddie finally got to my house they were wearing pajamas. Brooklyn had pink pajamas. Maddie had blue pajamas. Then when we got up the stairs to my room I asked them a question, “Do you like Zoe?”
And they told me…”Well She is ok.” After that my dog Captain came into my room. Captain is a golden retriever. After that he talked with us until we were done.
I said, “We should make a plan.”
“Like what?”
“Like spy on Zoe. Like we can spy on her at school ,gymnastics and at her house.”
“How can we spy on her at her house?”
“ I got her address.”
“Good,” Brooklyn said.
When we got to school the next day, I asked Maddie and Brooklyn, “What should we call our spy group?”
Maddie and Brooklyn said at the same time, “I don’t know.”
”We will all think about it. For now let’s just spy on Zoe and think of a name for our spy group.”
“Okay” Brooklyn and Maddie said at the same time.
When I was in math class Zoe was talking to me and said, “ Do you want to go to my house tonight?”
“ Let me think about it.”
“Okay.”
When we all got back to where we were standing I said, “ Zoe asked me if I wanted to go to her house.”
“Really.” Maddie said.
“That is good that she asked you because you can spy on her outside of her house.”
“Oh ya,” I said.
“I have a group name,” Brooklyn said.
“What is it,” I asked.
“The Spy Girls!”
“I also found out that Zoe is going to the doctor tomorrow,” I said.
“We can pretend to be doctors and find out who she is and what she is.”
When we got to he doctor’s office we saw Zoe so we ran to the bathroom. I said, “What do we do?”
Maddie said, “Maybe we can sneak past her.”
So we went to the front desk and I said, “HI my name is Bailey and I was wondering if we can volunteer.”
The lady had red curly hair and it was very short and brown dark eyes that were darker than night and she had wrinkly skin. She said, “We are always looking for volunteers.”
“Thank you.”
So we went to the back of the doctor’s office and got dressed in our coats and went into one of the rooms and Zoe came in. I said, “Hi my name is … um Ruth. These are my doctors in training.”
“Okay.”
“ So what is going on?”
“I am here for a check up.”
When we were done with the check up we had the FINGER PRICK! So we gave her the FINGER PRICK.
When we got back to my house I asked my mom if Brooklyn and Maddie could sleepover and she said … YES. When we got up to my room Brooklyn and Maddie started texting their moms just to make sure It was ok if they could sleepover. They also said YES. I also have candy under my bed so I got it out from under my bed and started to eat it.
When I was done eating candy I asked if Brooklyn and Maddie wanted some but they said no. I started to look at my phone and I saw that Zoe texted me and sent a creepy picture. I showed Brooklyn and Maddie and they said at the same time, “OMG that is so creepy.” So we searched her on Instagram and the same picture was on there. It looked like there was another girl in the picture. Under the picture it said @Zebrina26. So we looked her up and it said Zoe and me, sisters forever.
After that Zoe texted me and it said, “find me.”
I asked, “where?”
She said, “somewhere near.”
Before we went, I grabbed a flashlight just in case. I asked my mom if we could go down to the beach and she said yes so we went to the beach. When we got there nobody was there but we saw something mysterious. We walked down to the water and saw a mermaid.
I said, “Um hi.”
“Hi Brooklyn,Maddie and Bailey. My name is Everliey.My parents don’t know I am here so I will quickly give you girls a hint where to find Zoe. She is in the woods. Please don’t tell her.Bye.” “Ok” I said. So we went to the woods and it was as dark as a black bear. I grabbed my flashlight and there was a noise. It sounded like a person moving through leaves. We looked that direction and nothing was there. We were so scared we would die. We walked a little longer and…
“AHHH”…we fell into a deep dark hole. We looked around and there was no way out. We tried to call my mom but there was no response. While we were looking around we saw a hole so we followed it. We saw millions of bugs but we kept walking. Soon we saw the hole was getting bigger and bigger until we could stand up. We saw a throne with millions and millions of bugs. It also looked like a house, like somebody lived in there. We looked at the throne and somebody appeared…She said, “hi.”
I said “ Who are you?”
“My name is Veda, the zombie”.
“The zombie!” Ahhh. Just then we saw Zoe. She looked embarrassed, very embarrassed. But then she ran down this long hallway.
That women, Veda, called “ZOE GET BACK HERE!” Zoe came back out from that long hallway. Veda said, “SAY HI.”
“Hi.”
“Hi.”
Nobody said a word until Zoe came over and said, “You need to get out of here before Mom gets mad.”
We followed Zoe out from underground. When we got out from underground there was a little sunshine that was peeking through the trees. I said, “What are you?”
“I am a…”
” A zombie … but please don’t tell anyone.”
“Ok we won’t tell.”
After that we walked home silent.
When we got home my mom asked, “Where were you guys all night?”
“We were, um… um… at my friend’s house.”
“Ok go up to your room. I need to talk on the phone.”
So we went to my room and Brooklyn said, “That was a close one.”
” I know!”
After that Maddie and Brooklyn had to go home and I had to go to gymnastics.
The next day at school everyone was making fun of Zoe, the zombie, but nobody knew that. I should have done something about it but I didn’t. They were saying, “you’re ugly and you’re dumb.”
So I heard her crying. Nobody did anything about it and nobody talked to her. So I went to her house after school. I said, “I am sorry.” And left.
The next day at school I found a note in my locker. It said, “I hate your hair.” I had no idea what was going on. I went home and did homework and went to gymnastics.
The next day I found a another note so I opened it. It said, “Come to my birthday party.”
After that I went to Brooklyn and Maddie and I said, “Did you guys get an invitation to somebody’s party?”
They said… “I haven’t checked my locker yet.” So we went to Brooklyn’s locker and something fell out. It was an invitation to somebody’s party. Then we went to Maddie’s locker and a note fell out and it was a invitation to somebody’s party. IT WAS THIS SATURDAY AND IT WAS FRIDAY! We only have a little time to figure out who is having a party. So we quickly looked around to see if anyone was watching us. We ran to the locker rooms and hid.
I said, ” Look for somebody suspicious and ask a lot of questions.”
So we went out of the locker room and looked around to see if anybody looked suspicious.
They next day we found some people. We found somebody who looked suspicious, very suspicious. So we asked her a lot of questions. But we still didn’t know who was having the party? We thought and we thought but no luck.
The next day we went to the party. She said, “Hi,” and walked away. So we went to go sit down. The person was ……..ZOE!!!!! The house was not like her dirt house, it was a normal home. It was the most beautiful house I have ever seen. We should have stayed longer but we didn’t.
Today was the last day of school!!!! I was so excited, but over the summer we still had to find out what Zoe is. Well, I wouldn’t say the last day of school, it’s our graduation. Me and Brooklyn don’t know where Maddie is? I think she will be here for the graduation …I hope. I was getting ready when Brooklyn called me so I grabbed the phone. She said that Maddie didn’t answer the phone or didn’t respond to her text. I said, “Well, maybe she will be at the graduation.”
When I got to the graduation, I saw Brooklyn so I ran to her. I said, “Have you seen Maddie?” She said, “No.”
So I tried to call her but she didn’t answer .Zoe wasn’t there ethier. Then it was time for graduation. Zoe and Maddie were still not here.
When the graduation was over Maddie and Zoe were still not there. So I tried to call Zoe, and Brooklyn tried to call Maddie. Nobody answered. Maddie finally called and said, “Me and Zoe are together.”
Me and Brooklyn had no idea what was going on until Maddie said, “We are also in the woods.” So me and Brooklyn got in my car and went to the woods. That’s when we saw Zoe and Maddie so we ran out of the car. Maddie looked like she was a……
ZOMBIE!
I said to Maddie, ” What are you doing?”
She said, “I am a Zombie.” I had nothing to say so I got in the car with Brooklyn and left. Brooklyn was going to stay at my house for a while until her mom came to pick her up. The whole time we talked about Maddie. We could not believe that Maddie was a zombie. When Brooklyn left I went up to my room and stared at the wall for a long long time.
It was the next day and I was so excited to be on summer break!!!! I said in my mind that today I am going to go to the beach. When I got ready I told my mom I was going to the beach. When I got to the beach all I could smell was the water. I always loved how the waves danced. When I went down by the beach I saw…
ZOE AND MADDIE!!!!!! I had no idea what to do so I just hid behind a big rock. I dove behind the rock. BUT THEN THEY CAME OVER!!! So I ran to my car. Then I called Brooklyn. I said when she answered that I was at the beach and I saw Zoe and Maddie!!!!!! Then she hung up on me.So I just drove home.
When I got home my mom asked how it went at the beach. I said it went good. I started to head up to my room when my mom said, “Can you go clean the pool out?”
So of course I went downstairs and went out the door. The pool was so dirty that I couldn’t even get it clean. So I just went inside and got my dog’s leash and we went for a walk. Then I saw…BROOKLYN!!! I was so excited to see her!
She came to my house with me. We were wondering about what we going to do about Zoe and Maddie? So we thought and we thought but we couldn’t think about anything. Brooklyn said, “Well, we should list down what we already know.” So I got out a piece of paper and listed down the things that we already know.
I said “I can’t believe that Maddie never told us that she was sisters with Zoe. Do you think that Maddie was just not acting like we were her friend?”
“Well maybe she was hanging out with us.”
“Well what about Zoe?”
“Maybe she was trying to be friends with us.”
“Well I guess this is how it is going to be for now.”
