Gameknight woke up and found himself in the border between a mesa and jungle biome. He felt the humidity on his blocky face. Judging the sky, and his wet skin, it was raining. The last thing he could remember was Shawny turning on the digitizer.
“This isn’t Crafter’s server,” Gameknight said to no one. “But why do I have my stuff?”
All of a sudden, there was movement in the jungle.
“Who is that? I’m not afraid of you!”
Out of the jungle, a wolf leapt out. It wasn’t the normal Minecraft wolf, it was one from a wolf mod.
“That’s weird, I don’t have mods on my computer,” thought Gameknight.
There was then footsteps behind him. Gameknight pulled out his sword and turned around. There was a tall NPC (non-player character) standing in front of him. The NPC had a nametag but instead of normal villager arms, it had 4-pixel player arms. Gameknight looked curiously at the nametag, it said the word Guard.
“Hello user,” said the NPC. “My name is Guard. Ever since a user spawned in a mysterious ring shaped portal, creatures that call themselves Uruk-hai have wreaked havoc among the villages. Come, you look hungry.”
Gameknight stood up and followed Guard through the colorful mesa biome. The hardened clay felt hot on his feet and the air felt dry. Guard stopped at a tent that was built. In front of it, there laid a campfire made out of cobblestone slabs and a nether rack block.
“Where’s your village or are you a Lost?” asked Gameknight.
“I have no village nor am I a Lost,” replied Guard. “An admin spawned me here with an object called an NPC wand.”
“Cool, do you have any food, I’m kind of hungry.”
Guard went over to a chest and grabbed two cooked pork chops. He then placed a block in front of Gameknight that looked like a plate so he can put the pork chops on.
“Eat up!” Guard said.
Gameknight picked up the pork chop and ate a piece of it. The pork chop tasted like it had been grilled.
“Do you like it?” asked Guard.
Gameknight nodded and finished up the plate and then started talking.
“So, where’s the nearest village?” asked Gameknight.
“A day’s walk from here if you leave by morning. I am not able to walk for more than a hundred blocks. If I do get there, I teleport back. There is an NPC, not a villager, that I am friends with who tells me about any villages nearby.”
Gameknight found his eyelids getting heavy. He stood up slowly and headed towards a bed that was placed in the wool structure.
Gameknight woke up finding himself on the ground.
“Good morning,” said Guard. “Having a good rest?”
“Good morning and yes,” replied Gameknight. “What’s that noise?”
Guard turned around and say an NPC that looked like an NPC run towards him. The NPC had a dark green cloak with a hood over his head.
“Greetings!” said the NPC. “I bring news from the village. It has been attacked by the Uruk-hai. Those foul creatures want to create an empire!”
“What are Uruk-hai?” asked Gameknight.
“Who is this?”
“This is the User-that-is-not-a-user, I found him sitting down in that jungle over there.” replied Guard.
“What are Uruk-hai? That thing you said earlier… it… sounded like you were describing a zombie.” Gameknight stuttered.
“They are a foul creature, sharp pointy ears and sickly dark skin. Have you heard of this before?” replied the NPC.
“No, what’s your name, you didn’t mention it?”
“My name is Richard. I am a Dunedain of Middle Earth. I went through a portal to stop the Uruk-hai.”
“Richard! The news of the village, what became of it?” questioned Guard.
“Oh right! The villagers and iron golems wouldn’t give up their home. They fought valiantly but, unfortunately failed. The banner bearers put up the banners of the Uruk-hai. They are moving this way, we should hurry. Give the user the sword, he needs to find a use for it.”
Guard went over to a chest and reached for the sword. It looked like it had been through a lot. There were markings and cracks all over it, even though its handle was still intact. Guard then walked over to Gameknight and handed him the sword. Gameknight noticed some symbols on it, the same symbols on the ender crystals.
“Take him to the next village, there the crafter shall show take him to village 12,” commanded Guard. “There, Elondil will show him the book.”
Without a word, Richard left with Gameknight following close behind. Gameknight was still wondering how he happened to get on this server. How did I get on this server without any mods? The only mod I have is the zombie mod but it’s for 1.8. Gameknight tried to think of an answer but none came into his head.
Gameknight and Richard kept on walking in the colorful mesa biome. The bright sun shining on the hardened clay blocks. It was like a seen from a cowboy movie, except without the town. Gameknight noticed a faint outline of a savannah tree. They were almost out of the mesa. Just as they reached the tree, two Uruk-hai leapt at them from the treetop. Gameknight pulled out his diamond sword and charged at the creatures. Richard doing the same but with a sword that looked to be made of emeralds. The first hit of the Gameknight’s blade dug through the creature’s armor finding flesh, the creature flashed red. Richard finished of one of the creatures before helping Gameknight out with the other. The other Uruk-hai eventually died leaving a bundle of XP along with a sword.
“Nice work,” complimented Richard. “You’re a natural warrior.”
“Thanks,” replied Gameknight. “What’s that sword? It looks short.”
“That’s a dagger. Take it if you want.”
Gameknight walked towards the dagger. It was black with only small amounts of green. Gameknight tested it on a mindless chicken. He felt it may be useful.
“Come on, the village is just over that hill,” insisted Richard.
They approached a gravel pathway that looked to have been abandoned. Farther up it, villagers looked to be repairing it. Behind those villagers, a taller villager wearing a black smock with a white stripe going down started moving towards them.
“Welcome User-that-is-not-a-user,” said the crafter. “Richard please stay here while I take him to the crafting chamber.”
Richard said nothing, he just turned around and headed to the watchtower.
“Hi, I’m Gameknight,” Gameknight said to the crafter as they walked.
“Hello Gameknight, I will take you to the village crafting chamber.”
Gameknight and the crafter went over to the watchtower passing Richard. The crafter stepped in front of Gameknight and broke a block. He then went down the ladder with Gameknight following close behind. When they got to the bottom, expecting to see a massive room full of villagers, all Gameknight could see was a 3×3 blue box.
“Amazing, isn’t it?” asked the crafter.
“Uh… yeah… I guess,” stuttered Gameknight. “I was sort of expecting a massive chamber.”
“This is how modded servers run with the Dalek Mod.”
“What’s that?”
“Just a mod that adds evil creeper looking mobs. Oh, and a T.A.R.D.I.S!”
Gameknight stepped right up to the Tardis. He noticed a faint handle on it, almost hidden from view. He pushed down the handle and was instantly teleported to a massive chamber with a tall glass column going down the middle. He turned around to see the crafter. He must have gone through after me.
“Welcome to the T.A.R.D.I.S dimension! This is where I go to meet with the leaders of other villages,” explained the crafter. “Feel free to look around, but… DO. NOT. TOUCH. ANYTHING.”
Gameknight walked towards the center, which looked as if villagers were controlling something. There was a block he never seen before. This was almost as tall as a slab but in the shape of a prism. His attention then focused on the crafter who was now speaking.
“Listen up everyone! Our guest here, the user needs to get to village 12,” the crafter started. “Set a course for that village!”
Gameknight the heard a wind sound coming from outside. He headed towards the door to check it out, but instead of seeing a small tunnel, Gameknight was greeted by a roofed forest.
Gameknight noticed a tall NPC that was taller than the player. He had two 4-pixel arms and two 3-D ears.
“Greeting,” said the NPC. “My name is Elondil. Welcome to the Roofed Forest.”
“Thanks,” responded Gameknight. “Where’s your crafter, or leader? You know, someone who is in charge.”
“I am the leader of this village. On this server, there is only one crafter. You probably met him since you came out of the Tardis.”
“You don’t look like a villager, NPC, or a player. What type of mob are you?”
“I am a woodland elf. I went through a portal seeking the Uruk-hai. Have you met the Dunedan?”
“Don’t you mean Dunedain? And yes, I have met Richard. We ran into two Uruk-hai.”
At that moment, Elondil turned away and spoke.
“Uruk-hai! They barely go near the savannah. Those must have been scouting the area. Come you must be equipped at once, you never know when an enemy will attack.”
Gameknight followed Elondil to a large tree house. It was bigger than most of the houses around him and on a larger tree. Elondil climbed up a ladder with Gameknight climbing up close behind.
At the top of the tree, there was armor being displayed from light grey, metallic armor stands. There were also pedestals from which swords were being displayed. Elondil walked towards a section of the room which contained an enchanted white armor.
“It is called mithril,” said Elondil. “It is the strongest armor in the game besides black diamond, full emerald, and diamond. It is yours if you wish.”
Gameknight opened his inventory, which he still didn’t know how he was doing this, and took off his diamond gear. He then walked towards the mithril armor and took it off the armor stand. When he put it on, it felt as cold as ice. Elondil grasped a sword that was being displayed.
“Here, you may have need of this,” said Elondil. “It is a mithril sword with +8 attack damage. I have crafted it when I was back at the woodland realm.”
Elondil gave Gameknight the sword and walked away towards a backpack looking block. Gameknight put the sword away in his inventory and walked to where Elondil was.
“Here is a backpack,” started Elondil. “There is food and supplies in it. Take it is yours.”
“Thanks,” replied Gameknight. “Richard said that you had something to say to me.”
Elondil walked towards a chest and reached for a book and quill. He started to read while Gameknight listened:
‘There were two brothers. Both were warriors wielding powerful swords. One wielded a diamond sword, the brother’s name was Steve. The other wielded a black diamond sword, the brother’s name, Herobrine. They would go adventuring throughout the world mapping each area out. One brother, Herobrine, wondered far from Steve. He was abducted by the virus.’
Elondil put the book back. Gameknight was trying to put together some of the information.
“The story has a meaning,” explained Elondil. “It means that the virus has to be removed from Herobrine.”
“Ok, how?” Gameknight asked.
“The prophecy of the User-that-is-not-a-user was written for this sole purpose, to free Herobrine from the virus. You need to find the four elementals. With each, you will learn a spell from the ars magica mod.”
Gameknight stepped closer. “I’m in, but I need to know what I need to do with them.”
“You must take them to the dungeon north of here. There, you will be greeted by a mage villager. If you don’t know what that is, he looks like a witch but with a beard. The first elemental will show you the way to the next. Sort of like the iron rose, it will tug towards the next element. I will give you a horse with mithril armor. Her name is Mithril.”
“That’s not very creative.”
“I know, I am still looking for a name for her. Any ways, you must go to Atlantis to find the water element. Follow the path to a boat dock where you have to dive low. To find the fire element, follow to water elemental’s tug. It will take you to a nether portal. For the earth and air elementals, you must look high and low.”
Gameknight followed Elondil went down the ladder and noticed that a white, glistening horse being pulled on a lead.
“That is Mithril.” Elondil told Gameknight.
Gameknight stepped off the ladder and walked towards the horse. He notice that there was white armor and a saddle. Obviously she was tamed. Gameknight mounted Mithril and followed Elondil to the gate.
“Remember,” Elondil started. “Don’t stray from the path. In your pack, there should be some torches and some wool.”
“I’ll try to remember,” responded Gameknight. “But…”
“DON’T LEAVE THE PATH”
“Why?”
“It will delay you journey.”
And with that said, Gameknight rode off following the dusty gravel path. Elondil just waved.

Herobrine woke up in a dark cave.
“Where am I?” He thought.
“In a cave,” said a voice in his head. “I brought you here to defeat Gameknight and Steve. Stop them from reaching the prophecy.”
“Steve, no, not my brother. What are you going to do to him?”
“Nothing, you’re the one who is in charge of this. I just CONTROL YOU!”
“What if I don’t obey? What then, are you going to give me nightmares?”
“No! I will take control of you and kill him myself. Obey or you will see Entity 303’s power! Now step out of this cave.”
Herobrine stood up. Unwary about the voice in his head, he let his eyes glow illuminating the cave. He walked towards a small opening and walked near it. He saw the blue sky and clouds so he knew he was in the Overworld. There was just something not right, pigmen were moving about the area. There were also creatures (Uruk-hai) gathering near a tower. At the top of the tower, there was a player looking NPC holding a staff. The NPC glowing many different colors.
“Well hello there!” the NPC said. “How do you like my army master?”
“Who are you,” asked Herobrine. “And why do you call me master?”
“I am the wizard Saruman and I want to help you. You see, zombies burn in daylight and creepers just blow up their brethren. I have come to the Overworld from the Middle Earth dimension with these orcs, also known as Uruk-hai. They are stronger and faster, well, not as fast as the pigmen.”
“It seems that you’re getting ready for a battle.” Herobrine said as he approached the tower. He pulled out his sword and then noticed it was his old black diamond sword.
“This,” he paused. “This is my old sword. I have lost it in the 1.8 update.”
“I see you have a decent sword,” said Saruman. “It will come in handy for the war.”
“Wait, if I’m your master, and the Maker of evil mobs, I am in charge here. We don’t go to the User-that-is-not-user, we wait for him to come here. But, at the same we must stop him from reaching the prophecy.”
“I have someone perfect for the job.”
Saruman gave out a shout and a user looking NPC came forth. Above, there were two name tags. The top one displaying the words Evil_Little_Kelly in red and the one underneath it displaying boss battle NPC. The NPC walked towards Herobrine.
“So this is the Maker,” she said in a deep tone. “Well how about commanding the troops. Wait, no, how about destroying the village. Oh, I have an idea…”
Before she could finish her sentence, Herobrine shot an arrow just in front of her.
“I am in charge here,” Herobrine said. “Don’t mock me. Saruman, send Evil_Little_Kelly to hunt down Gameknight. I want to have a word with him.”
Herobrine faced the tower and headed for the bridge that led to it.
“You heard the Maker, find the User-that-is-not-a-user.” Saruman told Evil_Little_Kelly.

Gameknight was riding Elondil’s horse Mithril through the forest. Just ahead of him, he saw sun light.
“Finally,” said Gameknight. “I’m almost out of this dark forest. I wonder where I am.”
He got off Mithril and looked inside his backpack for a compass.
“Great! Now I can see where I need to go. Wait what’s this?”
Gameknight pulled out the map. The edges were worn and it had holes in it. At the top of the map, there were the words Atlantis Harbor.
“There’s a harbor? Wow, I wonder what it looks like from the gate.”
“Train2000c joined the game,” a deep voice said.
“Wait, what?”
Gameknight grabbed his backpack and mounted Mithril. When he was just about to get out of the forest, he noticed a server thread. The white beam of light reaching up into the sky. Underneath, he saw a player walking around with a sword and diamond armor. The player was heading straight towards Gameknight.
“Hello, would you like to join my faction?” the player said.
“Wait, this is a faction server!” Gameknight replied. He looked above the player and notice the letters, train2000c. He then looked down at the map.
“Yes it is. In fact, I’m an admin on this server. So, where are you going?”
“I’m headed towards Atlantis. Is that, by any chance, a faction?”
“Indeed it is, that’s the faction I’m part of. I would be glad to take you there.”
Train2000c started to walk towards the field. Gameknight decided that he should be following so he patted Mithril and was on his way.
