The Minecraft Diaries – Secrets Under the Surface: Tiny Spiders

(This story takes place after all three series from Mark Cheverton and six months after FrozenBoy20’s first series)

FrozenBoy20 – Wrecked by Spiders

“Eeeeeeek! Spider!!!” Cassie shouted from the living room.

When someone screams out ‘SPIDERS!!!’ you don’t ask questions, you grab your diamond sword and slice those large, hairy spiders into confetti.

But this time… it’s just plain ridiculous.

I bursted through the door with my diamond sword ready, and I expected to confront those large, hairy spiders. Instead, all I saw was Cassie shaking against the bookshelf that stored my books on GameKnight999’s series, she stared at the tiniest spider I have ever seen that sat on the kitchen cabinet.

I put away my sword and walked up to Cassie, then I asked “Why the heck are you scared of that spider… ESPECIALLY when it’s that small?”

“I-Just… just kill it already!!!” Cassie stuttered.

I sighed and walked up to the tiny spider.

“Next time you see a spider like this,” I said without looking away from the creepy-crawlies, “You take out a stick and you whack it good.”

And that’s what I did, I took out a stick and smashed it into pieces.

“There, dead.” I said as I turned to Cassie.

“Umm… Chris? Behind you…” She pointed at the kitchen cabinet behind me with shaky hands.
What now? I thought as I turned back to look at the remains of the spider.

Instantly, I saw MILLIONS of those microscopic creepy-crawlies, what the heck? I thought to myself, and I started to smash those spiders into MORE little pieces, which made it even worse. Microscopic crawlies began to fly off the cabinets and on to the floor, it started to creep towards my legs and some were on my shirt. I dropped my stick and started to slap them off my body.

I heard Cassie giggling as I screamed and slapped more spiders and crush them with my feet, but they started to overwhelm me as I was getting tired from flicking them off my shirt and stomping on them with my feet. For some reason it’s just not getting any better.

Then I shouted as loud as I can, “ABANDON HOUSE!” and sprinted for the front door. I heard Cassie laughing as I sprinted downstairs.

Well, at least I made Cassie happier.

When I busted through the front door, the black little spiders flowed out of the front door and went on into the streets. I slapped a couple of more spiders off my shirt and legs, and those crawlies scuttled into the forests.

Finally, we can relax.

When the last spider went off in the forest, I heard footsteps to my right. I turned and saw Steve and GameKnight999 walking up to me.

“Hello, guys. What’s up?” I asked the two friends.

“Oh, nothing much. We heard your scream on Main Street and we thought about checking up on you.” GameKnight replied, “What happened here?”

Wait a second. My scream went all the way to Main Street? No way that could’ve happened. I looked up to the second floor window.

It was open.

So that’s why, I thought.

“Something to do with spiders,” I said as I turned back to face my two friends, “Say… you want to come on in and have some drinks?”
