Chapter 1
The night before haunted Halloween in the woods near midnight. Six teenagers were about to vote to see if Jacob was going to stay. But, the vote was 2-3 then, Jacob left. The next night the midnight society went trick-or-treat, but near midnight the streets turn into chaos. A package of gummy bears came to life. One bit Dustin on the arm. But, they are after Sarah. Together, they ran. Then, they saw Jacob waving telling them to come in here. When they all got inside, they all gasped because they were in a library. “What is this place?” Rachel asked. Jacob answered, “this library is as ancient as time itself, that has long-lost books about every ancient topic.” Then, Jacob noticed someone was missing. Jacob asked, “where is Dustin?” “He must still be here outside,” Walker said. They ran for the door, but Jacob stopped them. “What are you doing?” they asked. Jacob answered, “if you open these doors you will let the monsters in.” “What is going on,” Racheal asked.
Chapter 2
Jacob explained everything he knew so far. But Justin said, “Oh look there is Dustin.” They all looked around to see Dustin covered in black goo. Jacob said, “everyone gets behind me.” Jacob ran to the display case and seized the ancient flame sword. He unsheathed it, and it was literally on fire. Jacob shouted, “begone.” Then, he let out a supersonic scream. The goo came off of Dustin. Then, Jacob stabbed the goo with the sword, and it disappeared. Racheal asked, “what was that goo?” Jacob answered, “Alien symbiote if I am not mistaken.”
Chapter 3
Jacob through the bookshelves and found the exact book that they needed. “Now we are getting somewhere,” said Jacob. The others gathered around. “We are in this book right now, and the only way out is to finish the story,” explained Jacob. “And how do we finish it?” asked Rachel. Jacob answered “This book can capture monsters. But, we need to read the book to see why this is happening. The monsters on this night are servants of a man named Mr. tophat.” When they finished reading they put on Halloween costumes for camouflage. They made it to the tower that powered everything. “Now how do we,” Justin asked. “Well, well it looks like we have uninvited guests,” said Mr. tophat. “Rachel I will make you a deal, I release your friend, and you give me the book.” She gave the book to him. But, then the full moon came out, and before our very own eyes Dustin, Justin, and Walker were changed into werewolves, their body grew dark gray fur, and their fingers turned their claws. Then, they changed out of the tower. “So, now there are only me, Jacob, Rachel,” said Sarah
Chapter 4
“I will go stop Mr. tophat and you guys shut down the tower,” said Sarah. They split up, Sarah had to take the ladder because the elevator is down. While Jacob and Rachel tried to shut down the tower. “I am about to do what Jacob’s ancestors could never do. I am going to finish the book and Halloween will last forever,” said Mr. tophat. Meanwhile down in the tower. “I can’t turn it off,” said Jacob. “Come on Jacob, you’re the smartest kid in the class even, though you blew a hole in the wall at the class with you’re failed science experiment,” said Rachel. “That is, we can’t turn it off. Then, we will turn it up short circuit it, or make it blow a fuse,” yelled Jacob. They ran around, turning up the power. “It’s working,” yelled Rachel
Chapter 5
Meanwhile, on top of the tower, Mr. tophat was in a body and was about to destroy the book. When Sarah tackled him and grabbed the book and try to open it, Mr.Tophat was using mind control to keep the book close. “What, is wrong Sarah has writer blocks,” said Mr.tophat. He grabbed the book and was about to destroy the book. Then, Sarah said, “never judge a book by its cover.” The book was about the life of Frankenstein’s monster. Mr.Tophat used his mind control to get the book and it worked. Mr. Tophat said, “You know that a story always has a beginning, middle, and end.” An arch of electricity shot through the tower. Then Sarah shouted, “and a Twist.” Sarah kicked the almost human Mr.tophat into the electricity. It shot him into the sky as fast as a comet. Sarah opened the book and it consumed all the monsters.
Chapter 6
Sarah ran out of the tower. And saw that Dustin, Justin, and Walker were back to normal. She was about to run over to them but, Jacob stopped her. “If you were planning on asking what happened don’t,” Jacob said. “why not tell them?” asked Sarah. “Anyone who was affected won’t remember a thing of what happened. Only you, me, and Rachel knows what happened here and it has to stay that way,” Jacob said.
