This is a small sample of my novel-to-be Quest For The Zombie Blade. I am very far in it, but this is only the very start of it. And yes, the main character is named Dudecool55, so yeah. Deal with it. It is my username for everything.

I was falling.
I woke up and found myself free falling through the air. The empty space flew passed me as I reached out to grab something, anything that would stop my fall. There was nothing. My fate was sealed. I was about to die. The ground would be rushing up, I would hit it, and I would die.
The clouds around me started to disappear, and I finally got a good look at where I was going to land. The ground below seemed to be a large clearing in the middle of a pretty forest. Right in the middle of the clearing was a lake, the water shining blue. It looked like I was going to fall into this lake. I knew it wouldn’t cushion my fall, from the height I was falling, water would be just as hard as solid ground.
I wondered if my life was about to flash before my eyes. It never did. In fact, I couldn’t remember anything. Only my name, Dudecool55, and that didn’t even seem like my real name. Only something I used sometimes. I searched even harder, looking for something, anything else in my mind. I only found one more word.
#Minecraft# (There is italics there in the book, but it wouldn’t work here. I’ll put # to show where italics are.)
The word came into my head. The word was quickly matched with memories, but not from my life, from a game I played.
The ground continued to get closer. I noticed that everything was blocky. I put my hand in front of my face. My fingers were stubby little blocks. The clouds were blocks, the ground was blocks, everything was blocky!
#No. This can’t be. There is no way. I’M IN MINECRAFT?!?!?!#
It was true. I had somehow been transported into my favorite game, Minecraft. Then it hit me. In Minecraft, you could fall any distance into any amount of water, and you would walk out unharmed. I relaxed as the water rushed up.
I still had a million questions, but those could wait. Right now it was enough just to survive.
SPLASH!!!!!
The water finally hit me.  Just as I thought, it didn’t hurt at all. I felt the cool, refreshing water rush around me. I enjoyed it for a second, and then surfaced. Swimming to the edge of the lake, I started to ask questions. Of course I had no answers, but I still asked them.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
(I’m gonna skip to a little later in the chapter, the part that I skipped is good and all, but doesn’t have much action. Since the chapter is very long, I will skip the more dull moments. That’s why you are reading right? The read some action?)

The sun had set, but I wasn’t home yet. I had been so focused on getting more would that I hadn’t realized the darkness coming. But now it was here. Everyone knew that monsters spawned at night. They would try to kill me. I needed to get home and into my new bed. Then I could be safe during the night, until morning, when there would be no monsters around.
My stupidity had made me an easy target for monsters, and now I was going to have to pay for it. My wooden sword in hand, I continued to sprint towards my small shelter. I could hardly see it through the trees. I didn’t yet have torches to light the way. It was only my first day, so it made sense, since coal was hard to find.
I finally emerged from the trees into the clearing. Instantly I was face to face with a zombie. I  screamed and hit it with my sword. The decaying creature groaned and hit me back. Pain radiated through my body. I saw red and became very angry. Sprinting towards the creature, I smacked it again. Again it hit me. I grew so angry that the zombie took a step back. I took a step forward and unleashed a fury of attacks, bringing the monster’s HP down to almost nothing.
I stepped up unto a block of dirt and leaped at the creature, preparing the final blow.
“DIE YOU ZOMBIE!!!!!!!”
