The Friendly Creeper
Hollowing’s favorite thing to do is play Minecraft and explore the world of Minecraft on a server with his friends, though his friends hated creepers because they thought that creepers just were some sort of suicide bombers that wanted to cause chaos; but Hollowing thought differently. Hollowing thought that there was a way to make creepers live in harmony with the players without having to hurt the creepers; Hollowing and his friends would often call him “dumb” or other things to change his opinion even though he was quite feared and was known as a ferocious PvPer in Minecraft. Though feared in Minecraft, Hollowing was actually an average-sized, 12-year-old boy in real life and would always go into his room to play Minecraft every chance he got.
Though in Minecraft, his height or age did not matter; all that mattered was if you were good at the game or not, and Hollowing happened to be pretty decent at the game and was experienced at looking through the game files because he worked with mods a lot. At night, when everyone was sleeping, and Hollowing was the only one on the server, Hollowing installed a mod called “Friendly Creepers” into the server mod files. When he restarted the server, he went out looking for those green creatures that blended into the plains environment oh so well.
After looking through biomes and biomes, Hollowing finally spotted a creeper appearing abnormally passive rather than its more usual hostile look. Hollowing slowly approached the green being cautiously, making sure he was out of explosion range. When Hollowing got about close enough to the creeper, the creeper looked at him and dropped a little friendship sign, showing it had no intentions of harming Hollowing. After discovering this, the next day, when everyone woke up, Hollowing got on the server and showed all his friends the creeper he had befriended and talked to them about how every creeper doesn’t mean harm and that they have feelings too even though this is just a virtual game. And for the first time Hollowing had seen; his friends did not kill the creeper.
